Chapter 16

❤️❤️ Separate Ways (Part 16) ❤️❤️

Rumi told Juno where she could follow and Juno did as told. They walked and walked until they were on the outskirts of Ashland.

"If I am not mistaken we are at the outskirts of Ashland and we have been walking since," Juno said, pausing to look at the sky as the sun rays began to come out. "Where exactly is Storm and wouldn't he had left already?"

"W-e ar-e al-most clo-ser t-o th-e pla-ce St-orm i-s. H-e ga-ve m-e hi-s wo-rd th-at h-e wa-nts to ta-lk to yo-u," Rumi said succeeding in convincing Juno and they continue their walk.

Soon they left the land of Ashland and walked until they finally got to some mountains.

"H-e to-ld m-e h-e wi-ll a-t th-at mo-unt-ain." Rumi told her as she pointed towards a mountain which was the biggest in size and height.

Juno looked towards the mountain and saw someone on top of the mountain. It was princely clothes that made her believe that it was Storm.

"Th-at's h-im, co-me o-n le-t's g-o a-nd me-et hi-m. W-e ne-ed t-o g-o ba-ck ho-me be-fore fa-ther sta-rts look-ing fo-r u-s," Rumi said to her.

Hurrying their steps towards the mountain until they were close to the mountain. Climbing the mountain was easy for them because Rumi spotted and pointed at the mountain steps which enabled them to reach the mountain tops.

Finally getting to the top of the mountain she left Rumi, loosening her hold on her as she ran towards him. Juno's eyes widened when she felt nothing and she saw the princely clothes disappearing right in front of her eyes. No one was wearing it; it was just floating in the air. She turned to ask Rumi what was going on when something hard hit her on the head. She wasn't expecting that and rolled on the hard rock.

What had hit her in her head? It was painful. Her eyes sight that was beginning to get blurry, cleared.

The laughter from Rumi brought her attention to her.

"You brought the lies so easily making my job more easier for me,"

Juno was shocked when she heard Rumi speak without stammering.

"You don't stammar?"

"I don't, never have and never will. Just have to do it so that you and your gullible parents would believe that."

Getting up to her feet and touching the side of head that was paining her. She saw blood on her finger when she looked at them. "You are messing with the wrong person Rumi if that is even your real name."

"That's my real name Juno," Rumi said as she walked towards Juno and stopped a few meters away from Juno.

"Why did you bring me here? Why use the name of the boy I like to bring me here? What is your intention?"

"To simply end your existence Juno,"

Juno smiled, "To end my existence. Have you forgotten the daughter I am, who I am? You cannot kill me that easily, cockolorum."

"Yeah that was what your mother thought before I killed her," Rumi said and smirked when she saw Juno's shocking face. "Oh yes, I was the one who killed her after she found out my secret. And now it's your turn."

"You killed my mother? Why?"

"Like I said before, she discovered that I was pretending and wanted to kill me not knowing that will be her end."

"I am going to expose you saltimbanco,"

Rumi started laughing, "I am strong Juno, very strong. Are you?" she asked as she stopped laughing.

"I don't care if you are strong or not, you haven't tasted my fist yet," Juno said.

"Oh let me then show you an example," Rumi said.

Juno's eyes widened when Rumi disappeared right in front of her. The next thing she heard was something cutting deeply into her arms, stomach and legs.

Rumi appeared in front of her once again and smiled.

At that moment, Juno felt the pain and when she looked down on her body she saw her clothes getting wet by her blood. Her head is hurting and now her body. How did Rumi near her without her knowing?

"I told you before, I am very strong," Rumi said boastfully

"Why? What did my mother and I do that will warrant you to kill her and me?" Juno demanded. "Who sent you to us?"

"Since you are going to die anyway, I will tell you. Your mother killed my mother so just look at it as taking my own pound of flesh and no. No one sent me."

"You are lying. My mother isn't a killer," Juno said, not believing a word coming out from Rumi's mouth. She can't believe what this pretender is saying, no. It is impossible.

"And do you know the worst Irony of it all, we are actually step sisters." Rumi told her and grinned wickedly. "Yes Juno, your father is my father but he doesn't know that yet so instead of killing him, the plan I have for him is now different. I will make him suffer."
