Chapter 19
❤️❤️ Separate Ways (Part 19) ❤️❤️
The red-haired young man came out of his Palace building and entered another building that was built like a bungalow. Seeing the two brothers inside standing close to a door, his eyes met with Kando.
"She is working on her, your highness," Kando said and the red-haired man opened the door and went in.
He saw Adaoh speaking in a strange language he understood well, her eyes closed. He also saw the dead girl in the mid air in front of Adaoh.
Adaoh didn't open her eyes but knew who entered her room. She was sitting in India style.
He sat opposite Adaoh and stared at his precious body, which was still pale.
Adaoh opened her eyes, eyes black as night. She stared at red-haired.
"Kane," she was the only one who was permitted to call him by his given name. "I have done what is needed, you have to do the rest."
Kane chuckled darkly and stood up to his feet, hovering over Juno, he leaned forward, his lips almost touching the cold lips when Adaoh's voice stopped him.
"Are you sure of this Kane? She will be bonded to you but....I see her future though it is not that clear but I saw her with someone else but not you."
"She will be bonded to me right? Let's wait until that time."
"This unknown person will cause a lot of trouble for you."
"I love trouble Adaoh," Kane said.
"My words do come to pass Kane," Adaoh said.
"So do mine," Kane said and placed his lips on Juno's cold one. Life started returning slowly as her pale skin was gone. She gasped out as he took a step backwards. He saw her chest rising and falling which confirmed she was breathing, but she didn't open her eyes. "Clean her up Adaoh and I need you to make a spell on her, no one except I should know she is a girl. Whoever that glance at her will think she's a boy." he added and left the room. Kando and his brother were still waiting. "Did you hear any information from my dear brother?"
"We heard from our spy who had planted himself as one of the guards that Ariadne had sent one of his sons to the Garden of Edenis," Kando said.
"We should attack him, we are stronger than Ashland," Kando's brother, Cando, said.
"My brother is a metalist which is the strongest of all elements. I am carefully planting my seeds in Ashland. There is an old saying that goes, under one man, the whole nation prospers and that man is me." he told them.
"He is married, your highness but you are not. You are blessed with immortality but he is not, I suggest you find a bride and marry her so that you can have a strong bloodline. Then we plan his death." Kando said.
"Just point and tell us the lady of your choice and we will force her to marry you." Cando chips in.
Kando stared at Kane for a minute.
"You are getting married to that little girl?" Kando asked in surprise as he couldn't hold back his thoughts any more.
"Yes, but not now. I will wait for her until she's old enough. I will personally train her and will teach her all the ways to become a samurai warrior," Kane said.
"But what if she has a family outside, what if they are looking for her as we speak."
"Didn't you see her condition when she came to me? She was injured, dead and I brought her back to life. And besides I will make sure her parents never get to see her again. She is my prize and I don't joke with the things I make precious."
"What about the hole she came out from?" Cando asked.
"I have forgotten that there is a mountain you can use to climb down here. The mountain stands as a bridge between Ariadne and my wall." Kane said and wanted to continue when the voice of Adaoh was heard.
Adaoh has healed the side of Juno's head where it was opened when Rumi was hitting her. She magically closed every cut in Juno's body. She made a bed appear in the room and placed Juno on it. Getting up to her feet, she went over to the bed and one by one, she began to remove Juno's clothes. Cleaning her body until she got to her legs and removed her boots one after the other.
Once she was done, she magically made a Medieval gown that fit Juno's size and her naked body. She bent to pick Juno's boots to clean it when the half pendant fell off from one of the boots. The boots fell out of her hand when she saw the glittery half diamond. Picking it up she observed it carefully and then slowly turned to look at Juno.
'Someone who is not from the blood line cannot be given the pendant.... unless she is among the blood line. But that is impossible,' Adaoh thought, still staring at the diamond and Juno.
At that moment, Juno opened her eyes, staring around the room slowly and when her eyes met with Adaoh, it widened and she was up to her feet. She noticed the new clothes on her and used her hands as a weapon.
"Who are you and where am I?" Juno asked. She was in a strange room with a strange woman. The last thing she remembered was fighting that black snake and then Rumi won. But.....she suddenly checked her head and didn't see any wound or blood.....how come?
"Little girl, do you remember how you got here and what happened to you?" Adaoh asked.
"Of course I remember, my friend and I fought and then she pushed me down a hole on top of the mountain which I didn't even know existed," Juno said to her. "In fact when I get home I am going to strangle that little witch with my bare hands. Thank you for saving me. I am as good as new, now where is the exit of this place?"
"There is no exit little girl unless the Emperor grants you permission."
"I have never seen you before nor have I been in this type of room painted in all black back in the palace so I am guessing I am not in Emperor Ariadne kingdom. Where am I and who is this Emperor of yours that I will have to seek his permission first?"
"I will call him for you in a moment, but little girl, are you the owner of this pendant? I saw it in one of your boots."
"Did it fall down from the sky?" Juno asked rudely. "Of course it is mine, it belongs to my mother and my mother gave it to me."
"Where is the other half of the pendant?"
"With someone.......I guess. After my mother died I saw her own half pendant and gave it to someone I care about to keep it for me," Juno replied. "Why am I even answering your question when I should be finding my way out." she added and started walking around the room. She couldn't see or find any door.
Juno was about to ask the strange woman where the door was when she heard her calling out to someone's name.
Immediately a young handsome man with red hair entered the room. Juno ignored the young man as her focus was on the door which was closing behind the young man. She quickly dashed to it, pushing the young man away from her target, but it was late and her body met with a hard wall.
"Ouch, that hurt," Juno said, touching her nose which hurt a lot. She immediately started punching the wall and gave up after few minutes, breathing heavily, "So who is this almighty Emperor that I need to ask his permission too leave this forsaken place?" she asked, turning around.
Kane cleared his throat and said. "That is me, my precious," he answered.
Red eyes meet with brown ones and they stare at each other.
"You look a lot like Emperor Ariadne, but younger. Anyway, she said I will have to seek your permission to leave here, so be kind enough to grant me your permission, thank you. Let's first start with this invisible door in this room," she said pointing at the wall behind her.
"No, you are not leaving here precious. I have chosen you as my bride. We will get married when you have come of age."
"I am no one's bride flat nose,"
"Shouldn't you be thankful to me for saving you. You were dead and I brought you back to life so technically speaking you owe me your life and you will do as I say or else I will have to take back what I give...do you understand my precious?"
"Kane, let her go. She may be bound with you now but her destiny lies somewhere else."
"Never," Kane said and walked over to meet Juno he started to place his left palm on Juno's head.
"Don't do it Kane, the wind will change but not for long," Adaoh said as she knew what Kane was about to do.
Hearing Adaoh's concerned voice, Juno wanted to run away but the earth beneath her feet held her, stones rose up from the ground to her ankles and stopped. She couldn't move.
"You belong to me and you can't escape it," he said and touched Juno's head. Juno gasped out in shock when the left side of the young man's face tear opened and a res eye came out of it and stared into Juno's eyes. That was Juno's mistake.
By the time the eyes retrieve back into Kane's face and the stones release their hold on her.
Kane leaned forward and gently kiss her forehead, staring into her eyes again. She was staring back at him, smiling.
"What's your name my precious?"
Juno thought for a while and shrugged off. "I can't remember, but all I know is that I want to be with you."
"Not now my precious, soon," Kane said with a smile and straightened up facing Adaoh.
"I change the direction of the wind by the sound of my feet. I don't believe in destiny Adaoh, I believe in myself."
"There is no need for that Cando," Kane said with a happy grin, "I now have a bride."
