Chapter 41
'Faith and courage are two such strengths that can make the impossible possible.'
❤️❤️❤️ A Man Called Storm (Part 12) ❤️❤️❤️
Ashland Kingdom: (Palace)
"You killed them and framed it on that man, you are a murderer," Morgan said to Storm when he was close enough to poke Storm's chest with his index finger.
"Wow I never knew how genius you are until today. Congratulations on finding out who the murderer is."
"Don't play smart with me, you are the murderer," Morgan said. This time, everyone was quiet as they stopped all what they were doing to watch the brawl between the two half brothers.
"I am eating so watch how you speak."
Morgan growled and ball his fist tightly. Storm noticed that and smirked.
"If you are that angry, go and find out our father's killers and knock them out with that punch of yours, don't try that with me. I won't show you any mercy regardless of the blood we shared."
Morgan then spat on Storm's food and waited for Storm's first move.
Staring at his food, Storm was very angry but he managed to stop himself from lashing on Morgan. That is what their enemy wants and he won't give them that chance but....if Morgan truly pushes him to the wall then he is going to really lose his cool and deal with him.
"How dare you spit inside his food!" Gwen yelled as she stared murderously at Morgan who didn't care. His focus was on Storm.
He didn't like Storm from the onset. The first day he had set his eyes on Storm even without his mother telling him to stay away from Storm, he had already made up his heart and mind to stay the hell away from him. He hated Storm with passion and now that he had heard his late father's will of how Storm was gifted, his hatred for him deepened. He was glad Storm was out of the way when he heard that he was going to the Garden of Edenis, but now he is suddenly back claiming he is the strongest. His hatred for him increased tenfold. In fact he had purposely done that to anger Storm so that he could fight with him. Once Storm's first throws the punch, he won't become an Emperor. Brothers fighting themselves or hurting themselves for the throne is not acceptable unless he wants to divide Ashland just like how his own father and his evil uncle had done. But he won't let that happen, not on his watch. He wasn't that wick like his father. If only his father had kept his di*k in one place they won't have been in this mess they are in right now in the first place.
"I know what you are trying to do but I won't fall for it, not because I am scared of you, I am trying to avoid saying RIP to your mother," Storm said to Morgan, and stood up to his feet and they both went into staring competition. When it comes to staring into the eyes competition (who will first blink his or her eyes first) then count Storm in. He is their King. Raising both of his eyebrows, he smirked when he saw Morgan trying so hard not to blink but failed woefully.
Prince Morgan's blood was boiling as he saw the smug look on Storm's face and didn't pay any attention to his surroundings; he wasn't expecting Storm's next move.
Storm plaster his plate of food- which Morgan had poured his spit in- into Morgan's face and started laughing.
"You can have the remaining one since you like the food that much," Storm said after he stopped laughing.
Flinging the plate from his face as he wiped off the soup broth, his front clothes were soiled. Prince Morgan's anger was clearly visible on his face now and he didn't fail to hide it.
Storm rolled his eyes pretending not to see Morgan's bloodshot eyes, he walked past him, making sure he bumped into him as he walked by.
Morgan yelled loudly and raise his hands to punch Storm but Gwen caught his arm, turned him to face her and slapped him right on his face
"I have been wanting to do that right since I saw you fool. You are the first person to look for his trouble," Gwen said to Morgan who had a shocked look on his face. "And you deserve that slap." she added, staring at him right into his eyes, not scared.
Morgan eyes flare in anger as he grit his teeth.
"Just thank your stars that I don't fight women, if not, your face would have tasted my fist by now."
Gwen smirked as she stared at him, but was really looking at him. Both brothers have almost the same similarities when they get angry. If Morgan wasn't squeezing his face too much, he was surely very handsome, a good-looking guy with much anger and hatred hidden behind his handsome face, maybe they can become friends and more in the nearest future by the gods willingly, oh she is going to have much fun in looking for his trouble throughout her stay in this Palace. She cleared her thoughts away and also walked past him and knowingly bumped into him.
Seriously speaking, Morgan's teeth has begin to pain him for clenching his teeth since Storm and his cohorts were here. Did they deprived joy by bumping into him? He doesn't touch women and wouldn't start because of a stupid one. He noticed the quietness of the Palace and realized that they were watching him, waiting for his reaction. His brother, Fred, was silently begging him with his eyes to not let this slide.
"Your highness, we saw this dead body not too far from the Palace," A guard voice broke the quietness. Earlier, five guards had left the palace to check around to see if they could see anything unusual before they saw the burnt dead body and had to carry it to the Palace. Now that everyone's attention was on them, the three guards who were carrying the dead burnt body quickly dropped the dead body to the ground, moving away from it as fast as they could.
Storm stared at the dead body briefly and turned slightly to look at Morgan. "I know you will say it's me that did---" he stopped short and quickly looked at the dead burnt body again.
He quickly moved closer to it. This couldn't be a coincidence, could it? The dead body was burnt exactly the same way the woman- who his father had thought was his mother- was burnt. They were dried in the same way. Whoever it was has his mother.
