Chapter 16
I was so weak. I wrapped my arms to Kairus. I couldn't bring myself to open my eyes. Every breath pained inside of me as I gasped.
“Fuck you! Screw you! Fuck you! I'm going to murder you! I heard Noel yell angrily. I heard a scuffle, and Noel was dangerously mad and I heard groans and metal noise.
“You don’t have a place in this place! Rot yourself in hell!” Dave screamed and wail.
"You fucking demon!" You assumed you'd still be alive? I'm fucking building your own jail with fire!" Easton cursed terribly.
“You’re a fucking demon! You thought you could still live? I’m fucking build your own jail with fire!” Easton cursed so bad.
I can clearly hear them. I can hear their anguish, agony, insanity, and rage. I can taste it as well.
Kairus' grip on me is so firm that I can feel his hand ready to screw Chris' brain so badly.
“The ambulance!” I heard Marie’s voice. I smiled in my mind. You called. You saved me.
"I'm not finished," Kairus said darkly. "I will return and kill you, motherfucker," he swore. It was the most frightening and perilous remarks I'd ever heard from him.
I felt myself move, and my head came closer to his neck, and I breathed him to calm myself down.
"Don't give that fucker to the authorities just yet. He has yet to see hell.
I felt myself slowly settle into the soft bed, but I couldn't stop hugging Kairus. Nobody understands how terrified I am. My eyes are closed, and despite the fact that my body has toughened, I am pale and shaking.
I felt us lay down without separating. I could hear his hard breathing as he gently caressed my hair.
"Please drive quickly and safely," Kairus remarked matter-of-factly. "Call this person and tell them to clear the road; an important person, higher than the queen, is in the ambulance."
"You seem so pale," he broke, and I felt him softly stroke my hair, his finger moving to my cheek and then to my lips.
"Fuck, baby," he yelled cursedly.
"Do we have to send him, Sir? His face is already...broken."
"No, his life has not yet been ruined."
Something vibrated, and I remembered my phone. Where is it now?
“Andrew…” I Kairus uttered. That was the last thing I heard before falling asleep.
"Wake up, B-baby. Brother...brother has arrived…I begged you to w-wake up, B-ba...Baby."
"You're such a courageous little girl, my baby. Please get up. Do you want Mommy and Daddy to come here? You don't like it when we cry, right? ”
"Please, Drew, Honey, eat or take a shower. You haven't eaten or taken a shower in a week."
"I'll go to our place and buy you a shirt. How about you, boys? You're all messed up. My sister-in-law does not want to see you in that state. You're all very skinny."
"We won't eat till she wakes up."
The bed appears to have shifted slightly. Tension was rising, and my heart was racing a little. Someone is here beside them.
“What are you doing here? I don’t want to see you here unless you beg her to wake up.”
"I'd like to see her, Andew."
"I already told you, you weren't allowed!"
I want to open my eyes and begged them not to fight in front of me.
"I begged as well, Andrew. Please don't do this to me. I don't care if you beat me to death as long as you give me...a chance to see her-
“Drew! Kairus! Kelsey! Kelsey!”
What happened? What was going on there? I was struggling against my body. I need to move or open my eyes!
“Drew! Big bro! Stop punching him! Drew! We are in the hospital!”
“Then it’s easy! I can even reserve him a room here!"
I hear the door opened.
“Andrew! What are you doing to my brother?! His face! " Kelsey yelled, and I opened my eyes.
I gently opened my eyes, and everything was blurry at first.
“Did you have to go this far, Andrew! You’re hurting my fucking brother! If you are a man, don’t do it here!”
"Kelsey, don't get involved in this. You're on your way out. From man to man-
"What the heck is going on you, Kairus Dennis!" You were the one I was defending here, and now you're protecting my husband as if you hadn't been beaten! ”
I shifted my gaze to them. They didn't notice me at first. I watched my brother, angry and looking so dark, any minute he can breakdown. Easton, David, and Noel were all holding his arms, while Richard was holding Kairus.
He was bleeding! His fucking face bled!
Kelsey was standing there with a bunch of paper bags in her hands.
“D-drew…”I weakly called my brother.
Their eyes slowly widened. Their jaw dropped. Few seconds, their eyes watered but I was even more surprised to see their faces, clearly now.
They looked so mess! The boys hair grow that fast! They looked like a beggar. I frowned. They are still wearing that jersey! That’s gross!
As they approached, I scrunched my face in disgust and walked backward away from them.
Kelsey grinned and laughed, tears welling up in her eyes. "I warned you, boys!" "You really looked like a disaster, and your bestfriend...is...is scared of you," she sobbed.
Andrew dashed over to me. He sobbed and wept in front of me. He was sobbing so hard that the boys cried as well.
How am I going to get out of this? How can I leave them when they're such a mess. How can I leave if my absence has damaged their lives? How can I let them go if they adored and valued me so much?
Kairus was staring at us weakly from behind my brother. He clinched his jaw as he gazed at me. He clenched his hands and exited the room.
I'd been putting up with it, but I couldn't take it any longer. I sighed and pushed their hands away.
I’ve been enduring it but I couldn’t hold it anymore. I sighed and shoved their hands away from me.
"I think I'm going to die from your stench," I said quietly. They chuckled slowly as they looked at me. When I saw my brother's mucous slowing away from his nose, I wrinkled my face up.
I softly chuckled as I watched them. "How can I risk leaving you all?"
"Don't leave me-
"Us," my brother was interrupted by the boys.
"Can you come back in an hour?" I asked softly. "I want you to take a very hard shower, because you all stink."
Kelsey chuckled. I looked at her.
"Kelsey, can you drag them away from me?"
She nods, and smile.
"Guys, it's bath time! Give Aime a nice aroma of yours."
It took them a long time to leave, and I sighed as I watched the ceiling. I'm pleased I'm okay, but my heart isn't. Every breath and every word I uttered squeezed my heart, and it aches a lot. If I could rate my pain? It's 90 percent, and 10 percent is enduring the 90 percent pain.
Kelsey cleared her throat. She moved closer to me.
“How are you dear? It’s been a great fight, warrior.”
I gave her a soft gaze. She stroked my face. "The doctor said you are so very, very, very brave and all we could do is wait for you. This is the most agonizing waiting I've ever experienced in my whole life.”
"Everyone is a wreck. They pleaded, cried, sang, broke down, and lived...lifeless."
My eyes welled up.
"For sure the guys will come home, and embrace their mother after they see you wake up. I'm trying to be fair to the boys and to my husband, but blood is thicker than water. My brother would like to speak with you. "He's been messed of all messes," Kelsey said as she rose up. When the door opened, I saw him standing there in a state of disarray.
He moved closer, and he took the seat that was seat by his sister.
He walked closer and took the seat next to his sister.
It was incredibly peaceful. He was painfully watching me, and I was weakly observing him.
“How are you?” He asked.
"I guess I should ask you that," I responded. He looked like a disaster, and he didn't even save the hair on his jaw. He clenched his fist and crushed his hand.
I moved my hand to take his firm hand in mine.
"I'm sorry," he said quietly.
I stroked his hand gently and didn't stop until it softened. He grabbed my hand and held it tightly. It was never his fault. No one should be blamed but that fucking Chris.
"I-I'm so terrified..." he whimpered."I don't know what happened to me that I'll die picturing how are you in that sleep…too, it's near to embrace you, yet it's too far to grasp you.
