Chapter 40
“Beautiful…” Ron whispered as I walked closer to him. I can’t help but to roll my eyes. What a good way to start.
He chuckled when he saw my reaction.
“it’s true...” He mouthed. I’ve been hearing that compliments ever since I was a child. Even I’m not a Filipino, my beauty reached their standard. Even in my country, many said that I am attractive and stunning lady.
We don’t need other’s opinion but sometimes good compliment can boost confidence and happiness as well.
“I’m late.” I uttered, pouting. Like, twenty minutes late. He was already here and texted me ten minutes to the actual time.
One point. I like guy who comes early.
"No, it's fine," Ron said calmly as he stood up. I saw him step forward to pull the chair.
He doesn’t look uptight. His aura scream very smooth.
We are only a short distance away in Manila. We decided on a beach resort. I'd like to try their seafood, and I'm glad Ron agreed.
It's Saturday, and there are a few people around. It is a private beach with excellent security. I don't have to worry about it anyway since I have my invisible guard around the corner.
I darted my eyes to Ron’s outfit. We almost had the same outfit, and the way we have the same colored outfit looks like something fishy between us.
Ron was dressed casually in a white loose Hawaiian shirt and shorts, while I was dressed in a white maxi beach dress. It was a tube dress, and I was showing the line of my upper boobs. It looks good on me. My brother is even suspicious of what I wore. He's still protective, but he's more relaxed now. He knows that it’s a girl code thing. The beast inside my brother’s soul would only appears once he sees if my dress or outfit is already too much.
I look around, and I notice a few people walking around, curiously looking at us. Inside, I was smirking. The news spread faster than the speed of light.
“So, what’s the reason you said yes?” Ron asked with a good smirk. “I’m curious.” He added, moving closer. "Do you have a boyfriend or someone to make you jealous?"
“Huh?” I uttered so shocked. “What?”
"I was relieved when you answered my call at first, but after a long silence, I was thinking something else." It's not like you needed my fame because you're more popular than I am, and maybe you want someone to be jealous of you?”
I'm not sure how this man knows so much about my mind? He knows me more than my brother. It’s not about the boyfriend or jealous but I just want to show Kairus that I’m not available even I am. I am not available to him. I’m not even playing with him either.
I coughed. "Are you really that direct?" " I chuckled. "Nothing specific." Isn't all I want to do is relax on the beach?" I laughed again, making my part even more awkward.
“Should we order?” I said, changing the subject, which made him laugh so hard.
I pouted. He looks like a happy man with his not so bald hair since there’s a small hair around in his head. I looked a kid here.
"Hmm...fine, but..." he said, looking me in the eyes. "I'm fine, you can use me.”
I shook my head and laughed softly. I couldn't believe how straightforward he was. It is also a good thing too, at least he’s not that bad the way he lightly communicates with me. He’s not too intimidated like Kairus.
I cleared my throat and crossed my arms, and his gaze moved to my chest.
I barely looked at him, checking he'd look away, but he didn't. He sighed and shrugged his shoulders. “I can’t help it. I have eyes.” He said, very honestly.
He’s calm, kind, straightforward and blunt. He is honest as well and I will reciprocate on that.
“I hate despise someone," I began seriously.
'Uhmm..." He hmmed, his eyes wide with curiosity.
I continued, “It seems childish but I hate him. He hurt me a long time ago, maybe four years? And I have a feeling he wants to make a move or...I'm not sure," I said, unsure.
“So you don’t want him?” He inquired, leaving me speechless. Because of this, he stared at me intently and deeply.
I shook my head again and again. "We should put it out of our minds. It's so unjust. I'm with you, and we're having a conversation with someone else. And I’m not that bad. I won’t use you.”
"Nah... it's fine," he said, but I just smiled and shook my head.
He wanted to continue the conversation, but I had already pressed the small button to summon the waiter.
"By the way, I saw your brother..." Ron mumbled as we ate our food in front of us slowly. My eyes darted to our phone in the table. It made me smiled because we had both placed our phones in the same position, with our phone was there but facing the table so as not to disturb us.
“Where did you see him?” I asked, continuing to eat. But I came to a halt and covered my mouth, attempting to conceal my laughter. I just remembered his amusing expression as he ran away from the cameras. The reporters even used that clip in their reporting of him.
Ron laughed, and his laughter was contagious, so I laughed as well. I'm sure it's not good story either.
"I saw him in the airport and was looking around like crazy." I called him, but I was surprised to see him running around like a crazy person." He laughed. "I didn't realize at the time why he had to run like that, as if he would die if he wouldn’t. And I was like, yeah, I forgot, his lovely sister is a very popular actress and singer,"
I smiled so genuinely. Why I never entertain guy like this before?
Ron knows how to read and I feel like he knows what’s inside my mind. We were both staring so deeply. He’s handsome and knows how to start a conversation. He’s also warm like when you talk, everything is fine.
“You even became more beautiful to my eyes.” He uttered so genuinely.
I smiled. “You’re so easy-going. You don’ intimidate me.”
He smirked. “So, he intimidated you a lot. Is he in showbiz?”
I shook my head. “He’s a businessman.”
“Good choice.” He complimented.
I frowned when I noticed behind him. Ron was frowning as well while staring at me.
We are outside the restaurant, and away from the restaurant was a lot of people. They were holding their phone, focusing to …us.
“We…are not alone…” Ron mumbled so stunned. I nodded, and still shock staring behind him.
“In your back, they were picturing us.” I whispered, and he nodded so crazily too.
“Many people behind you., too.” He whispered, and I turn my head around and my lips parted.
It’s two times a lot of people. I covered my mouth. They smile and yelled while the camera still facing to us. It’s like the whole community was here.
“Shit.” Ron cursed and I looked at him. “Is it okay?” He asked me.
I nodded. He nodded, and smile. “Let’s greet them,” he says. And, he stood up, shyly smile and bowed a little.
“are you dating?!” Someone in the crowd shout, and the noise became louder. I spotted my body guard just beside them. That’s why they bare giving us space. I looked beside and bowed too.
“Aim, are you two dating?” A girl yelled in Ron’s side.
‘Guys, we are still going there!” Ron yelled, happily. He chuckled sexily.
Our fans were looking happy and smiling.
“Thank you for not coming near to us! She’s taking her time to know me! Thank you for not barging us!” Ron said aloud while pointing me.
Ron was all the one who does the talking. It’s my first time to have seen some man alone, and I don’t know how to deal with this and my manager even didn’t know about this, too.
But, I’m allowed right?
“So, can we ask a favor and forgive us for not allowing you to come closer? Can we expect that? “He chuckled. “We want to experience a fine breakfast normally. I know you understand it. Thank you a lot, and to Miss Aime’s fans, I know you are all millions but please don’t hate me.” He uttered that earn a soft sweet growl.
My heart melted. The way our fans didn’t come closer, and disturb us. They were patiently waiting and we didn’t even notice them or did they stood there long?
I waved my hand, gently. “You guys are so beautiful, handsome and sexy. I’m sorry I can’t interact with you today.” I apologized, sadly, pouting.
They nodded so happily while pouting too.
“It’s fine! You are so beautiful!”
“Make sure he won’t make you cry!”
“He’s the first guy we’ve seen you having dinner except your buddies. Make sure if won’t make you cry!”
“I think they are all your fans…” Ron said, and chuckled, teasingly.
i winked a t him. "It's not my fans, only."
