Chapter 51

Rowdy

I don't know how long I was sitting at the bar. I wasn't drinking. I want to be sober when we get a break on where Merigold is. It has been 36 hours since she was nabbed. I've only been here less than 24 hours and I'm close to losing it. We need to do something. Anything. I don’t know how much longer I can sit here without going crazy. I've sat with Jax and Jace to keep them from worrying. We have played and watched movies. Anything to keep them busy. Trying to let them know that their mom was coming home soon. I can see it in their little faces. They know something more is going on. They are smart kids. Yet they don’t call us on it. They trust us that we are going to make everything alright and get their momma.
We made sure there is someone with them at all times. We don’t want them left alone. Whether it was a brother or Alaric's crew, old ladies and Anna.To my surprise even a couple of bunnies have helped out. The last time I checked on them Jax was asleep on Tank's chest and Jace on Lug Nut. There are times I think it is funny that these two small boys can turn us burly, hardened bikers to big teddy bears. Tank hasn't said much to Axel or me about what happened with the club bunnies. I don't think he cares at this point. Or he is just waiting until Merigold comes back before he gives us shit.
I'm about to get another cup of coffee when Viper, Alaric and I think River is his name come charging from the back office. " We got her." Viper yells. " Reaper's have her." Son of a bitch. They are a ruthless MC. They are our biggest rival. Always trying to claim our territory. Always starting shit in our businesses. " When do we go get her?" Ace asks.
" Soon. We have to make a plan to take their clubhouse down. I'm not losing a brother by not doing this smartly. Alaric's team is helping and we will work as a team. Rowdy, I want you to work with Matt. He is a bomb specialist."I nod. I'll work with the devil himself if it gets our girl back. " I want everyone to be alert and sober. Once the plan is in place we head out. I want everyone ready with a second's notice.”
" Alaric and Andrew are snipers. I want them armed with the best we have. Mac and RIver are communications specialists. I want them wired. I want a truck stocked with whatever Tony says he needs. No matter the cost. We don't know what condition Merigold is in. I want to be prepared for anything. River was able to get us a blueprint of the Reapers clubhouse. When we go in I want no Reaper left standing. They fucked with this club for the last time. They took our Princess and they think they can get away with it. Time to make them pay." The club erupts in ‘Hell Yea”
River lays the plans out on the bar and Viper starts giving out assignments. Mac and River are staying behind monitoring coms. Once we have our jobs I arm all of us to the teeth. I have a few extra on my bike. We are going to hit them hard and make sure no one is left standing.
We are loaded and ready to leave when Axel looks over at me " Let's get our girl back. You got her if something happens." I nod. We know there is a chance not all of us may not make it back. There is definitely going to be some wounded. But as I look around I can see it on every man here. They are willing and ready to lay their life down for our Princess. She has made her way into everyone here in one form or another. Whether a friend, sister, or in Axel and my case our girl, our old lady.
First, we get her back from the Reaper then back in our arms. " And you got her for me," I tell Axel. Viper is in front " Coms ready." We put a fist in the air to let him know we are set. " Let's take these fuckers out." The club yells " Hell yeah." The Army boys yell " Hooah"
We have to park about a mile from the Reapers clubhouse so we aren’t spotted. We need the element of surprise to get this done. When we are all in position it is just a matter of waiting for the signal to go. I'm on the first wave to hit. Axel is with the second wave. Alaric and Andrew were behind us somewhere. Viper comes over the radio " First wave get set. Snipers at the ready?" " Huntsman and Bullet ready," Alaric says.
" First wave go." Viper calls. Matt takes the left of the building and I take the right. We are setting off charges on both sides of the building to block their possible escape route. That way they can only come out from the front. The back of the building is completely closed off. We set the charges to go off just before the second wave goes in causing chaos. Axel, Thor, Brick, Tank, and Lug Nut are ready. When we are far enough away I give Viper the heads up that we are ready.
" Now"As soon as Matt and I detonate and the second wave enters. All hell breaks loose. Gunfire erupts from what feels like every direction. As guys come out the front door I see Ace start fighting. He isn't wasting any time. He is taking on anyone that comes within arms length of him. He wants these fuckers taken out. I want a piece of the action. I want my hands on the fuckers who thought they could touch our girl. I see Matt take a guy down in what is like three seconds. Damn these guys are good. Glad they are on our side. I hear a shot ring out in the distance telling me Alaric is doing his job. I’m putting a bullet or a fist in any one with the wrong colors as I make my way to the door.
