Viper, Rowdy, Ace and are sitting at a far off table shooting the shit with Alaric,Mac, Tony and Matt when I see Jace and Jace walk in. I see them looking around, when they see us they race over like their little butts are on fire. “ Unka Laric. Unka Tony. you help us.” “ Whoa, guys what’s wrong. Is Merigold ok?” Tony grabs them and asks in a panic. Jax shakes his head “ Momma fine. She napping.” “Ok. Calm down.and tell us what is wrong?” They take a deep breath then say “ We need you help. We have im, impor.” Jax is trying to say. “ Important?” Ace helps. “ Jace nods “ What Unka Ace say. Mission.”
Alaric and Tony picked the boys up and sat them on the table. “ Now tell us about this important mission.” Tony says. “ We has to get momma anutder Prince Charming.” Jace says. “ Why do you have to find your Momma another Prince Charming?” Mac asks. “ Momma lost hers when daddy have go heaven to protect angels. She need new one so if she long time gain he can wake her. Like the story. Momma Snow she need Prince Charming.” Jax says with such conviction I almost believe that’s how it works. I expect Alaric and Mac to blow them off or give them an excuse why they can’t do that. But that’s not what happens. Mac takes out a notepad like he is getting ready for a meeting. Alaric and Tony give the boys their full attention.
“ So what kind of Prince are you boys looking for?” Mac asks. “ He has like momma cooking.” Jax says. Tony laughs. “ That’s easy. Everyone likes your momma’s cooking. What else?” Tony is right about that. There isn’t man in here that wouldn’t fight for a spot at Merigold's table. “ He need keep away monsers.” Jace tells us. “ Got it. He has to be a protector.” Mac writes it down. “ He need bring momma flowers just cause.” I sit and listen to these adorable little boys describe what they think the perfect guy for their mom should be. They just want someone who will keep their mom safe. Someone who does nice things for her like bringing flowers for no reason other than he wanted to. He has to accept that the boys and Merigold are a package deal.
They have a pretty good list when Mac asks “ Is there anything else?” Jace suddenly looks uncomfortable. Alaric picks up on it too. “ It’s ok. You can tell us.” “ It be nice if he would do storwies.” Jace says. Jax chimes in “ And teach us stuff. Like baseball.” Out of the list they gave this is the first time they have asked for something for them. I got to tell you it was hard not tearing up. Mac nods “ You got it. Anything else you want to add?” They sit there for a minute thinking. To be in their heads to find out what they are thinking. Jace suddenly bounces “ Oh.Oh. I hear momma say to Auny Trina kind eyes and nice butt is a good thing.”
At that I hear Anna and a few bunnies cracking up. Jax looks over at Trina “ That good for momma Auny Trina.” It takes a few seconds for Trina to get herself together. “ Yes, sweety. That’s good for your momma.” They nod like that was all the confirmation they needed. They look at Alaric, Mac, Tony, and Viper “ So you help unkas?” Viper nods “ We will do our best. But it could take awhile. We have to make sure we get the perfect Prince Charming for your mom.” Happy with that answer they say “ Ok. We have snack. Gethen have it ready.” Jax says. The boys jump down and head to the kitchen now that their mission is handled. I heard every word they said. I’m going to tell Rowdy about but I silently vow when we get Merigold back. We are going to be everything those boys asked for and more.
