6 months later Rowdy

I'm sitting in church waiting for the meeting to end. Merigold is meeting us for lunch. Our poor wife has been miserable this past week. Not that she has complained but it is getting increasingly harder for her to get comfortable. Walking around is hard for her. Even getting up out of a chair is hard and either Axel or I have to help her. Not that I'm complaining. I would do anything for my wife. I overheard her in the bathroom one day about how unattractive she feels because of her size. Yes, her belly has gotten bigger and sticks out quite a bit. But she is caring for our twins. Of course, she is going to have a big belly. I love her stomach. I love watching our babies move or feel them kick my hand. I talk to them every chance I get. Merigold thinks it is silly but I love it.

I broke out of my thoughts by someone pounding on the door. Everyone knows to never interrupt church. I look at Viper and he looks pissed. He gets up and yanks the door open and glares at the prospect standing there. Before Viper can say a word the prospect says " Prez it's Merigold." Then I hear a scream. I get to the bar and see Merigold sitting on the couch with Trina. Trina is holding her hand and Merigold looks to be in pain. I stand in front of them. I notice Merigold is taking deep breaths. She looks up at me but doesn't say anything for a minute. Suddenly she leans back and smiles. " Hi, honey." She looks at Viper `` Sorry to interrupt church but my water broke." It takes my brain a second or three to realize what Merigold said. But not Axel before he yells " You're in labor?"
Before Merigold can answer she grabs her stomach and yells. " I'm getting the truck. Axle help her up when she can move." I don't wait for an answer, I just race out the door. I pull the truck up as close to the ramp as possible and open the back door. Fuck Merigold is in labor. She is only eight and a half months along but we were warned it was a possibility and not uncommon to have twins early. Merigold told us that Jace and Jax were born early and they are fine. I didn't worry too much about it.
I look up to see Axel and Viper helping Merigold to the truck. They help her in and Axel slides beside her. Trina yells that they already called the doctor and he will be waiting for us. Viper leans in and kisses Merigold on the forehead and tells her they will see us soon. As soon as her door is closed I take off.
We get to the hospital and the doctor is waiting for us outside with a wheelchair. We get Merigold inside and it is a flurry of activity. Merigold has to have a c-section because of the position of one of the babies. We get to the operating room door and a nurse says we have to wait outside. Fuck that shit. " I don't think so, lady! We are going to be with our wife!" The nurse explains that they have to prepare Merigold first and they will come to get us when she is ready. They fucking better or I'm kicking someone’s ass.
I have helped take down the Reapers MC. I have killed. I have beat the shit out of I have no idea how many people and never been scared. Now I'm scared shitless. I look over at Axel who is pacing. I'm about to barge in there when the nurse comes to get us. She helps us get ready and takes us to Merigold. They let us stay on either side of her and hold her hand. Once they verify that Merigold can't feel anything the doctor says he is starting. I have no concept of how much time has passed when I hear a cry.
" Baby A is a girl!" the doctor says. I look and see a nurse take our daughter. We didn't find out what we were having. We wanted to be surprised. We have a girl. " Here comes baby b." I hear another cry. " And it's a girl!" the doctor says. Another nurse takes the baby. I look at our incredible wife. " You did it, baby. I love you." and kiss her. I look at Axel and see his eyes are watering. He leans over and kisses her " I'm so proud of you baby girl. I love you." Merigold smiles " I love you both. We have girls!"
The nurses bring over the girls `` We are fixing to take them to the nursery to get them checked out but we thought you would like to see them first." We look over at our babies. They are beautiful and perfect. We stare at them for a minute before the nurses take them away. Just as the nurses leave another one comes in looking jittery. " Doctor, the waiting room is packed full of umm people demanding an update on Mrs. Mcgee. One looks like he is ready to charge back here and I don't think security could stop them." Merigold starts laughing " Axel. Rowdy. Would you go talk to my brothers before they tear this place apart? And tell Tank and Viper to stop scaring the nurses." The shocked nurse looks at Merigold `` Brothers?" Merigold smiles " Yep. Every single one of them."
We give Merigold one last kiss and walk to the waiting room. Sure enough, it is packed with brothers, old lady's, and prospects. Axel and I stand in the middle so everyone can hear us. " We have girls." The room erupts in cheers. We get handshakes, congratulations, and hugs. " How's Merigold?" Viper asks. " She is doing well. They will be moving her to recovery soon. Once she gets in a room you can see her." Axel says. " And the babies?" Tank asks. " They are perfect. They are in the nursery to get cleaned up and checked out." I say with a big ass smile on my face.
