"I can't believe, the biggest man whore in North Carolina, is mated to the one person he hates the most," Josh chuckles, but I cut it short by holding the palm of my hand on his mouth, I glare warningly at him.

"Stop repeating it, Josh, I don't want to hear it and I most definitely don't want other people to hear it as well. Shut your mouth till I figure out how to get out of this mess," I growl lowly I didn't realize it until it was late that I had unleashed my dominant Alpha aura, what I had meant to be a warning turned out to be a command.

I pull myself away from him when he submitted, I could feel the guilt crawling like a bug in my veins. "I'm sorry, man I didn't mean to command you, I'm just stressed, just please don't tell others " I sigh in frustration this mate's shit was eating me whole.

He placed his arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer, I knew he forgave me the moment I apologized, he is sentimental like that. forgive and forget kind of a deal "All is forgiven my boy, and you know I was teasing too, sorry if I sound too enthusiastic about the whole situation but damn, Luna hates you," he snickered laughing, I rolled my eyes at him, he is a lost cause.

When I was about to walk towards my locker at school, I felt him, I stood my ground. Josh asked me something but I didn't hear a word, I raise my head unconsciously and sniffed the air, the scent got closer and it was coming from outside, I hardly had any control over my body, my body moved on its own and I found myself following the deliciously haunting scent, and then I saw him.

I heard murmurs of people around me, I can't believe I didn't notice people were watching the exchange between us, I glared at him hateful as he walked closer to me. He raised his brow in question which earned a glare twice as hard.

I turned around and walked away from there before I did something stupid like breaking his jaw or something, the animal inside me begged me to turn around and walk back to its mate. I ignored that impulse and walked straight to my locker.

"You didn't have to run you know," I had almost forgotten about Josh, he tends to make himself invisible when needed.

"I didn't run, Josh, I delayed our next interaction. I don't want to deal with him. like damn, he is everywhere, man it's crazy, give me a break for Luna's sake." I slammed my locker shut furiously.

He giggles enjoying my misery like no other, I walk ahead ignoring him, I take my seat during homeroom at the back end of the class,s and wait for Mrs. Lawson to get on with her usual yelling contest.

Luck doesn't seem to be working in my favor today, because I see him again, he strides into the classroom late like he owns the place. Mrs. Lawson is part witcher so, she doesn't ignore the fact that the student who is late is none other than our Prince but because most of the students that go here are humans, she acts as a normal teacher.

"And who might you be?" she raised her glasses in question, I swallowed a growl of annoyance when her eyes linger on him more than necessary.

Josh, nudges me and I realized that had been glaring at the teacher with pure hatred, I shake my head trying to eliminate these thoughts from my head.

"My Name is Sorin Lockwood, I'm seventeen years old and I like to run " the other guy introduced himself first, his face stone clod, I could feel the chills coming out of him it was creeping me out. I looked around at the others and was glad to know I wasn't the only one.

"Welcome to creak wood high Mr.Lockwood, and what about you?" she asked him, he doesn't spare a glance towards her, his eyes were on me. I stare back at him but the intensity I felt in his dark eyes prevailed in my sane mind.

"Alejandro King, " he said his name and nothing else. his voice was deep and husky I curled my hands into fists, trying to control myself from feeling the shiver down my spine, it's just his voice get a hold of yourself, Lorenzo.

"Very well, take your seat students I'm about to start my class," she claps her hands smiling brightly, both Alejandro and Sorin walk to the back of the classroom and sits behind Josh and me.

Josh and I share a look but don't say a word, a lot of students look back at us, hoping to get some kind of reaction out of me because of the scene I had created on the day he had arrived.

I growl at them to look away and they do. the rest of the classes go on like that, without me creating a scene.

"I must say I'm disappointed, Enzo," Blake says looking at me while chewing on his food.

I raise my brow for him to continue "and why is that, didn't get enough pocket money this month, hmm?" I ask rudely

He shakes his head amused "No, I got the money, alright, it's just that I don't see you doing anything to that guy yet, I mean you seemed to want to kill the guy, and yet here he is right in front of you and you wouldn't even lift a finger, don't tell me you're scared Enzo?" he taunted.

"I believe in serving my revenge cold, Blake I heard it's best served cold, I've gotten into the competition I had always wanted and that's where I will do my bidding, I will rip out his throne from under his nose and he won't be able to do anything " I gloat grinning at him widely, I knew he heard me because I felt the familiar gaze on my back that crawls under my skin.

"don't get too cocky, Enzo," Peter said holding his fork in my face " he looks like he works out, we don't know where he was all these years, he was probably training his ass off when you were busy getting laid," Snickers goes around the table, I scowl at him not replying.
