"Proceed as planned," I ordered my group of people that were hidden in the trees and other parts of the castle turns out the place where Craig had us prisoned wasn't that far from the castle, it's a little hidden place which has been abandoned for a very long time.

I push the wheelchair where Alejandro pretend to sleep, I could feel my wolf getting aggrieved and was ready to get in control and reign hellfire in this place.

"You got this, calm down, " the soothing voice of my mate entered my mind, I suppress my smile as the newly mated couple like us was able to hear each other's thoughts.

I heave a deep breath and walked onto the porch of my house, I knew going to my house would be predictable and he will be alerted the moment I enter my house.

I push the door open and find it empty, lucky for us there was no one in the house, it was a full moon tonight which means the pack members are out celebrating it.

I push the wheelchair to my room and slowly and carefully I pick him up and lay him down on my bed, I feel like a professional actor with the way I was carrying myself

I sit by the bed and watch my mate laying on top of the bed looking perfect, "Stop looking at me like that, we have important things to do," His deep voice ring in my head, I smile subtly before holding his hand and bringing it closer to my body and kissed the back of his hand.

"You have done a stupid thing coming back here," Craig's voice entered the room just as I had anticipated.

I don't my eyes off of Alejandro "it's no use running when I know there is no running away from you," I said standing up from my seat

"A good thing that you realize, " he said walking around the bed tracing his forefinger till he reached the head of ghe bed frame. "Poor Alejandro, he didn't even get to say goodbye to his loving father," my body goes rigid at the mention of the King.

"Oh, didn't I tell you, my bad, the King is no more, well somebody had to pay the price of running away from me," he said smiling at me "No one runs away without my permission," the cold tone in his voice was frightening.

"Oh, the way he acted in his last moments, too much pride in the royalty, he didn't bow down to beg for his life, he just took it like he was meant to, " He didn't get to speak further because Alejandro dropped the act and jumped him, tackling him down to the ground. Alejandro straddle him and grabbed his throat choking him.

Craig grinned wickedly "I knew you were awake this whole time, "with a flick of his wrist Alejandro flew off of him and crashed on the wall.

He looked at me " Really, a cloaking spell, no amount of cloaking spell can hide the huge amount of mating pheromones both of you carry, you need do better than that if you want to fight me," He said walking into my room as he owned it.

I tried moving from my place but couldn't figure he must have frozen my feet. "Is it true? did you kill the king?"

He twirled his hair in his fingers " of course not, that poor thing is dying on its own, I don't like extra work," he said with such ease. "Let's go somewhere else, I have something to show you," he got all hyped up and with a snap of his fingers we were in his little hideout

But what surprised me was all of my people hiding, and waiting for my command were on the floor dead, all of their bodies littered the floor with their blood.

"What the hell have you done?" I asked him watching everything in horror.

"hmm? oh, this, found them in the woods, and I got bored waiting for you, the floor looks so much better with the color red," he commented excitedly.

He was a psycho killer.

"This is going to be so much fun," he walked inside the prison and there was a figure sitting on the chair with a blanket on top of him. " ta, da," he said before ripping the blanket off of the person.

Josh, it was Josh.

he was badly beaten and bruised, he could hardly move, he was tired down on the chair.

"Why the hell did you do this to him?" I asked moving forward but couldn't

"Uh, ah, He came at me first, I was only defending myself," he said but ended up laughing " No I'm kidding, he lied to me about your whereabouts and nobody lies to me." he grabbed a fist full of his hair and pulled his face back. "Should have known better,"

Alejandro stood up from the ground and marched towards Craig, I tagged along with him, and both of us ganged upon him.

but he was too Fast, he kept having his hands, using spells to avoid our attacks. he grabbed me by my throat and slammed me on the ground, I could feel my spine breaking with the amount of force he was using.

Alejandro turned into his beast and clawed at his back, Craig hissed in pain and let go of me. I shifted into my wolf as well but couldn't reach him because a different wolf attacked me.

It was the fake Omega Rose, she growled at me grinning smugly, I charged at her and bit into her shoulder while digging my claws into her abdomen. she howled in pain, I let her go when I knew she couldn't get up again, my priority was my mate and my best friend's safety.

Alejandro was fighting Craig with all his might and with a huge growl he slashed his claws into his chest ripping into his skin. he was about to end it all but he got tackled by a huge dark wolf.

Alejandro was startled by the sudden intruder and growled when he was it was none other than his childhood best friend, and the mate of the murderous Mage.

"Sorin, stop, please listen to me," I shifted back to my human form and grabbed his head, and threw him off Alejandro

he growled at me furiously and started moving slowly forward, he shifted back to his human form and glared at Alejandro and me. "What the hell were you about to do? were you going to kill my mate?" he asks the question directed to Alejandro with betrayal clear in his voice

Craig sat on the ground holding his wounded chest coughing heavily, pretending to be a victim in all this.

Alejandro shifted back and glared at him "don't you see this? look at all times bodies it's your mate's doing, if he is not stopped now, it's going to be too late later. you and I both know it's true whether you chose to believe in it or not," he told Sorin with a firm voice warning him to back down.

"We can deal with it like we always do, we can put him back in the dungeon and punish him accordingly but don't kill him, he is my soul mate after all," Sorin pleaded for the sake of his stupid mate.

"Enough, drama," Craig stood up and rolled his eyes before moving his hand and trapping us in our places. "I'm not going back to that filthy place,"

Sorin looked at him "Craig, you need to understand this isn't something to bargain with, Alejandro wasn't joking, he will kill you if you don't surrender," he tried to convince his mate but Craig scoffed in disbelief

"For a beta, you are quite a coward," he shook his head disappointed. "It would have worked if I was your mate, let me tell you a little secret, " he walked closer to Sorin and whispered in his ear but everyone in the room could hear it.

"We're not mates Sorin, we never were, how do I put it, hmm. I kind of borrowed you for time being," he said grinning wickedly.

There was a sudden coldness in the room where it was getting hard to understand what the actual fuck of going on.

He walked away inside the little prison and held Josh's face roughly, he made sure Josh's swollen eyes were directly where he wanted them to be. "This poor little didn't even know His mate was right there fucking someone else under the same roof as his, " My eyes widened with the sudden revelation of the things.

Josh was mated to Sorin? how?

"Must be heartbreaking, not knowing your mate was right there while you mourned for a mate yourself. pity, pity," he tisked amusingly.

I turned my head to look at Sorin and he was frozen, his face paled as the secrets kept unraveling. I glanced at my mate and found him looking at me.

"What do we do now?" I asked him through our link.

"Do you trust me?" he asked back his eyes moving between Craig, Josh, and Sorin.

"Always," was my instant reply.

"Then let's do it," he said before breaking out of Craig's hold with ease. his transformation has granted him various powers that including immunity to dark magic.

He growled before using his hidden weapon and grabbing Craig by his hair and slamming him on the wall before biting his neck and chewing off the meat off his shoulder.

Cassandra appeared next to me and looked at the fighting duo " Are you sure? but who do we sacrifice?" she asked unsurely

I nodded my head "I got an idea," I said and both of us got to work.

As Alejandro and Craig, were busy fighting I used that opportunity to drop droplets of Alejandro's blood on the floor with Cassandra's help, she used her magic to spread the blood on the floor in a circle around them

"We still need a source though," she kept saying that and stopped when I showed her the solution "that works too," she said closing her eyes and mumbling the spells.

the winds howled in the middle of the woods where the cabin was located, and the atmosphere, in the room changed as everything around the room was smashed to the ground.
