The Morning After

I wake up with a bright smile on my face, feeling amazing for some reason, I feel more alive than I have ever been in my entire life. I feel complete.

I open my eyes the mild sun rays hitting my face waking me up from my deep slumber, I try to push myself off the bed but was yanked back by a heavy arm, he pulls me closer to his hard body trapping me in his cuddly embrace.

I turn around to face my mate, my soul mate, even the word leaves a sweet after taste in my mouth, I smile and hug him back placing my head on his shoulder snuggling in. he kissed my head before pulling more into him.

this is nice, I hope and wish that this is how we would wake up for the rest of our lives.

that thought brought a shy smile to my face, only with just the thought did I feel warmth in my belly and a flutter in my heart.

"what are you thinking about?" he murmured kissing my hair, I snuggled more into him and placed a kiss on his collar bone

"Nothing, I was thinking how nice it feels to wake up like this," I mumbled closing my eyes and inhaling his musky scent.

his chest vibrated as he chuckled lowly, " if you're enjoying it so much, then we better get used to it because I want to wake up every day with you in my arms," he changed position and hovered over me, trapping me underneath him, he checked me out with sheets over me and licked his lips " preferably naked " I laughed pushing him off of me.

"Hold your horses, Prince Alejandro, I can barely feel my legs, you had no mercy on me," I pouted trying to get off the bed without wincing every five seconds.

he smirks leaning on the bed watching me walk towards the bathroom and failing in the process, he laughs loudly and walks up to me, pulling me up, holding me bridal style naked. he walked towards the bathroom.

little did we know, our shower session ended up almost an hour and a half, we did some naughty things in there.

"You were so loud last night, we barely slept, please never make me go through that ever again, " Josh pleaded as I watch him sit on the breakfast bar in the kitchen looking as miserable as he sounds.

I chuckle not denying his accusation because I knew we were very loud last night. this is what happens when both alphas mate, shit happens.

"I'm not even sorry," I tease laughing as I walk around the kitchen, grabbing coffee and I noticed a plate full of pancakes and lots of other breakfast varieties. " did you make these?" I asked him taking bites of everything on the table.

"Nah, dude you know I can't cook to save my life, this is all Sorin, didn't know the ice prince knew his way around the kitchen," he said gulping down his black coffee.

I had to say I was impressed with Sorin, he is full of surprises.

At that moment the duo, Alejandro, and Sorin walked in with the other two alphas, I poured the coffee down my throat and stood next to Josh waiting for them to begin.

"what is it?" I asked with my leader mode on.

"We found his hideout, it's not very far from here, two hours tops but they got one of our competitors, Ron," Peter said with a glum face on.

I sighed not knowing how the bastard got his hands-on Ron he was not even near this location.

"ok, we will leave in an hour, we will meet you by the hideout, we will make sure we get this bastard for once and for all," I said walking back to my room to get dressed for the day.

Alejandro walked towards me and pulled my arm closer to his body, "I want you to be safe Lorenzo, promise me you will not put your life at risk for anyone, not even for me" he said seriously.

I watch his face and wonder 'how can people misunderstand him, he is easily the most humble person I have ever met'

I lean up to kiss his lips lightly, "I promise you, prince Alejandro, that I Lorenzo knight won't risk my life for anyone but in return I also want you to promise me back that you too won't put yourself at risk for anyone, not even me" I hold the collar of his shirt and pulled him closer to myself

he smiles genuinely and kisses my forehead "I promise " I smile at him and move away.

we were ready and prepared for venturing our way into Claudius's hideout. we park our cars far from the little wooden cabin but it was big enough to hold 20 people.

as we walked closer we could hear the anguishing screams of terror from inside the cabin, I glace at josh and see his eyes turning red with rage as harming children has always been a sensitive topic to him.

harming children is the most vicious thing to do, even for a terrible person like Claudius.

I signal others to spread out and find easy access to the cabin, we spread out and walk around the cabin and walk ahead, crunching down holding our weapons closer to our bodies, I know shifting into our wolves would be a better choice but considering there were children present it would be the scariest thing for them to see.

I walk behind a guard and gold his neck from behind and broke it before he alerts anyone else, I do the same with all the guards I encounter inside.

I opened a door and watch a sickly scene, Claudius was standing in front of Ron, who was sitting on a chair tied up, badly bruised up, blood seeping out of his skin. his clothes were torn apart and his eyes could hardly stay open.

I growl furiously and ran towards the monster who has made lots of people's lives hell.

I ran but don't reach him because my body flew crashing into the wooden walls, I groan in pain holding my arm which was twisted abnormally.

"Welcome to my humble adobe Alpha Knight, I hope you are finding yourself comfortable," Claudius grinned creepily

I growl at him trying to free my arms but failed, I felt my arms were bound to the wall as some force hold them in place.

"Ah, right you won't be free with your strength because, well, because of my little Marcus, he is a witch. and he is local to me, " he motions towards a teen boy hardly older than me.

he had his face covered with a hood, but I could see his eyes they were dead.

that's when the door burst open and Alejandro walked in growling and punching people on his way, Claudius looked away so did the boy which gave me an out.

I jumped on him and clawed his face, his witch pushed me again but this time harder. Alejandro growled holding Claudius's neck, choking him but then he too was pushed to his knees by the boy.

Alejandro growled kneeling on the ground, his eyes and nose bleeding terribly.

Claudius sighed tiredly "tsk tsk tsk, is this how you will greet me," he leaned down holding his chin " my dear nephew "
