Sorry, not Sorry

I walk down the dungeons and smile when I reach a certain door, and a familiar face. "hello, Craig hope you are doing well?" I ask him smiling brightly at his furious face.

"Why the hell am I back here, I helped you find your mate, now get me out of here," he screamed pulling at his chains. he huffed when he wasn't able to use his powers.

"Uh-hun, don't even think about it, we took precautions this time, you won't be able to break out of these as they are specifically made by yours truly," I pointed to me bowing a little for the dramatic effect.

"And about finding Prince Alejandro, the council and I have decided to reduce twenty years, from your life sentence, keep helping us in every way possible, and someday you can be a free man again, but that is not today," I informed him enjoying his frustration

I turned to leave but his words stopped me. "No wonder he forgot about you, there is nothing worth remembering about you anyway, you're a liar and a deceiver, I hope he never has to deal with you ever again," he shrieked spitting on the ground.

I tiled my head while smiling in disbelief then turned to go back to his cell, I opened the door and crouched down in front of him, I raised my hand and he flinched but I held his chin and made him look at me.

"You think you're all that and yet here you are tied up like a dog, obeying ordered from someone that killed his boss, you are nothing more than a piece of trash that is thrown somewhere stinking up the place, completely useless if it weren't for Sorin, you would have been dead, don't forget that I let you live even after you killed fifty of my people, I believe in revenge and grudges, so I would watch my back if I were you," I snap his head on the opposite side while taking my hand off of him.

My alpha powers were all around this place, the alpha hormones were bursting up the cells covering anything and everything with their dominance, I get out of the cell and moved out in the open. I take a deep breath as soon as I reach the open area with trees. I close my eyes and try to calm my mind.

Alejandro's rejection was hitting me hard. my wolf had taken this too personally he has been lashing out at everyone who tried to define my command, not long ago I broke my sparring partner's wrist when he tried to taunt me to go harder on him. I sighed looking at the open area hoping to control myself.

I feel my phone vibrating and see the head hunter calling me. I close my eyes tiredly then sigh before picking it up," Hello?"

"Alpha Lorenzo, we need you at the training arena, something happened," he said hurriedly, I walked towards the arena and find a couple of wolves fighting in their wolf forms, and one of them was Sorin.

"What the hell is going on in here?" I yelled at the duo the command in my voice stopped them from making their next move. "shift,"

The other one shifted back to his human form but not Sorin, he growled at me furiously and refused to obey my command, my heart dropped in my stomach at the betrayal I felt from him. maybe he found out about the conversation between Craig and me.

I look at the boy, not older than fifteen, and watch him bow his head in respect, "what happened?" he didn't raise his head but replied.

"Alpha Lorenzo, my friends and I were just talking about the serial killer prisoner in the dungeons, and out of nowhere Beta Sorin, jumped me beating me, my friends tried to stop him but he would stop so I had to turn into my wolf to protect myself," he spoke and his stable heartbeat indicated that he wasn't lying. this was low, hurting a child, what is wrong with the world.

I look at Sorin to explain his side of the story but he snarled at the boy instead. I growled at him to notice me, "Sorin, you refused to heed my command and fought a pack member with any solid reason, you will be punished with starvation and isolation in the prison," I growled at him.

he looked at me straight in the eyes and snarled, I was about to blow up at him when a voice stopped me. "What right do you have to indulge in my pack's business," the voice brought shivers down my spine but the butterflies that I felt before died at the clear disrespect.

we all turned to look at Alejandro as he strolled in and stood right in front of me, challenging me, I narrowed my eyes at him my body posture turned hostile "What do you think you're doing?" I asked him with equal disrespect

"I might not remember a lot of things but I do know that my father is the king and I'm the prince, and you, on the other hand, have no authority in my pack. I suggest you back off," he gestured backing off with his hands

I clenched my fist, " since you don't know let me clarify this to you, I got the throne to this kingdom while you were busy playing sleeping beauty, I was the one who took care of this place I earned it something you never can, even if you did get this throne it wouldn't be due to your worthiness, it would be something that passed down to you. " I answered back fiercely not taking his shit.

I heard someone mumble "It's like we traveled back in time where they hated each other before they found out they were mates," the comment was clear and I was sure he heard it too.

We glared at each other but stopped when we felt the presence of someone crossing the border, my eyes widened when I felt how powerful that person was, I pushed past Alejandro and ran towards the east border, Josh was by my side in a second, both of us shifted while running towards the threat.

The border patrol was surrounding the fugitive, stopping them from going further. we reached the area and put on shorts and strutted watching them. it was a girl about the same age as mine and very beautiful with pale skin, blonde hair and very petite, she trembled when she felt my presence

I crouched down in front of her and looked at her battered appearance, I lowered my guards and signaled them to back off just a little bit.

"Hello, don't be afraid I won't hurt you," I told her but she refused to look at me " you seem to be lost and I would like to help if you are in some kind of trouble. we don't kill run away rogues, just the murderous ones," I tried to reason but I think I made it worse. she began crying loudly, I look at Josh for help but he kept avoiding my gaze.

Out of nowhere, Alejandro walked into the border area and looked at the sobbing rogue, he stood there frozen not taking his eyes off of her. Sorin followed after him in his human form and he looked shocked at both of them his eyes traveled from Alejandro to the rogue and then to me, for the first time today I saw him look at me with pity.

"Alejandro?" she called out his name with such emotion that got me clenching my fists in anger.

she got on her feet and ran towards Alejandro, she embraced him in a very intimate hug, she jumped on him, while he stood there shocked but what hurt me the most was that he higher her back with the same passion. I stumbled in my step but was caught by Josh, he held my shoulder steading me.

Alejandro looked up at me all while hugging her, our eyes connected and the emotions behind them made me want to curl up in a ball and die.

"He recognizes her," I mumbled turning to look at Josh who was ready to tear Alejandro apart.

"Rose," Alejandro's words confirmed my fears, the feelings behind the name he spoke held a lot of power.
