"Only one way to find out," he gestured towards the group and hushed me off.

I groan before walking towards the group of teenagers, I cross my arm in front of my body and stand straight releasing my Alpha scent into the air, their attention snapped from whatever they were doing to me and they became aware of my presence

"Some of you much have heard of me, my name is Lorenzo Knight, I was an acting King until we found King Alejandro, I'm the present Alpha of the neighboring pack," the intensity of my voice got them to glue their wondering eyes to the ground.

"Without wasting any time, I would like you to grab a partner and spar among yourselves, I will teach you how," I announced, they bowed their heads together and grabbed a partner.

There was one oddball tough, we had an extra, I signaled him to come closer "You will train with me,"

He walks toward me and takes his stance, "first grab the back of your partner's neck, hold it there, and slowly out your leg behind their right leg curl it and use your upper body force to knock them off their feet and tackle them to the ground," they do as I instructed and the training session ends with them running laps around the arena until sunset.

I was so engrossed in the training session that I forgot I had something important to do, "Shouldn't you be on your way now?" Sorin commented watching the kids with me. my eyes widen with the sudden realization of the things.

"You didn't answer my question though, who is Rose," I look at the time on my watch and turn to face Sorin urgently, he smirked again, both of these mates were getting on my nerves.

"Rose is an orphan rouge omega, she helped us stay hidden for a while after we escaped from Claudius, she saved Alejandro's life by treating his wounds that could have been fatal," he spoke all that in one breath and I didn't know how to react.

I snap out of it and nod my head at him "I'll try to treat her better," I mumbled before dashing off to find Alejandro

"Don't put down your guards just yet, power changes people and Alejandro is the most powerful being on this earth, " Sorin's voice echoed in the back of my head as I walked to the main hall.

I walked to the King's office knowing Alejandro would be there but the annoying scent of the rogue linger in the air alerting her presence, I knocked on the door and walked in didn't even wait for a come-in.

Alejandro was at his table reading a few papers and Rose was sitting on the couch leisurely eating a fruit bowl, I raise an eyebrow at her body posture, she looked at home, Alejandro raised his head to look at me and smirked "You are finally here," I smiled at him taking my eyes off of her.

her face scrunched up but she composed herself and smiled welcoming, "Sorry but could you excuse us for a while I need to discuss something important with him," I said sternly not giving a shit if I was being rude, as Sorin warned I was not going to put my guard down just yet. maybe a slight jealous feeling was lingering no matter who tells what, I did see her naken in my mate's bedroom led him to reject me as his mate.

she somewhat looked offended and looked at Alejandro for support, he waved his hand off and asked her to leave. she sauntered out of the room humiliated, I should not feel happy about it but I was.

"So, what is it that you need to talk about," he asked his attention was solely on me. his gaze was like molten lava, it was burning.

I cleared my throat and said "About last night," he looked confused by my words

"What about last night?" the way he questioned me was confusing as well, did he not remember about last night?

"You don't remember?" I asked leaning on the table and looking straight into his eyes.

"No, I don't know, am I supposed to remember something?" his questions were making me lose my consciousness. this guy was screwing with my brain.

I sighed "Forget it, I came here to ask you if you wanted to go grab a drink," I suggested trying to act casual. he looks at me curiously trying to figure me out. his eyes were calculating.

"Sure, why not," he said and got off his chair and moved very close to me, I gulped watching him move closer to me "Let's move to my room, I have got good stuff stored in there," it made me cringe but I couldn't complain, I nodded my head and moved sideways to allow him to leave and follow behind him

I feel up my pant pocket and felt the presence of the well-hidden vail, I sigh with relief and follow behind Alejandro as he keeps turning at every corner, then finally stopping at a door, the room was the same but he changed the door, previously it was a plain wooden door but now it's been changed to dark black tall door with a silver lining, it was beautiful.

I close the door behind me and stay by it, I watch Alejandro take off his jacket and lay it on the bed, and walk towards a cabinet all while rolling the sleeve of his dress shirt. I gulp nervously and he turned back looking at me. god! this man was handcrafted as the hottest guy alive, why does he have to be so sinful.

"Take a seat, I don't bite, at least not yet " he smirked holding a bottle of whisky, I watched him pour our drinks and the regret hit me in the face, I don't know how am I supposed to spike his drink now, I should have offered to pour our drinks but I seem to be out of it every time I'm in ten-meter radius as him.

"Here," he gave me a glass and sat beside me. I gave him a nervous smile and click our glasses.

A bulb goes off in my head " Do you have any ice?" I ask he nods getting up from his seat. I take that as a sign and quickly pull the vial and sprinkle a few drops into his glass and stir it with my finger. I put the vial back in my pocket and smile at him when he came back.

"So, what is it you wanted to talk about, do you finally give in," he asked holding the glass and rolling the drink inside it.

I nervously sip my drink trying not to stare at his glass for too long. "Yeah," I replied absentmindedly

He chuckles and looks at my face analyzing me "Lorenzo, do you know what you agreed to?" he asked placing the glass back on the table.

"Sorry, what were you saying?" I asked placing my attention on him.

He placed his forefinger and thumb on my chin and forced me to look him in the eyes and whispered darkly, his eyes shined intensely as he spoke the next words. "I won't say this again, Lorenzo, when you are with me you are not allowed to think about anything or anyone else, you will only think of me, look at me and feel me and only me, understand?" he ends it with a question and that got my heart pumping up double its speed.

I gulp gazing into his eyes, everything else seems to disappear around us when it's just him, and I in the room.

"It was thinking that it's rude to have a drink with someone who didn't even touch his," I counter regaining my composure.

He smirks "Careful there one might think you're trying to get me drunk and have your way with me," he accused mischievously.

Well, he wasn't wrong about that but it's not the same either.

He picks his glass and plays around with it, he was teasing me, like a cat with its prey. I drowned his drink in one go and slammed my lips with his, he was startled by my sudden attack but held my waist and pulled me closer to him, he grabbed the back of my head and slipped his thick silky tongue into my warm cavern, he couldn't get enough of it so he pulled me on top of him, straddling him.

He grabs the globe of my ass in his huge hands and fondles them over my jeans, he pushes himself over me making me feel every inch of his skin over his clothes, the heat that came off of him was getting me hot and bothered.

His grip on my hair was slowly lost and the rough movements came to a halt, I pull myself off of his and wipe my mouth with the back of my hand, and sighing exhausted, I look at the glass and wipe it on a tissue, trying to rid of the evidence.

"Josh, It's done, we are in Alejandro's room come quickly," I tell him through our mind link and staggered onto the couch leaning my head on it.

The kiss still had me breathless. I look at his unconscious face and admire his looks. This person is mine, rejected or not, he is Mine, and nothing or no one is going to change that.

I kiss his still lips and make an unspoken promise " Whatever it is that you're going through I will end it, I promise, you will never be alone again,"
