18: Upsetting Lucinda

Lucinda was sitting in her throne room looking over some reports when the door opened and a few of the guards walked in. “Yes.”

“My queen we have estimated it’ll only be a few more days before the barrier comes down.” They knew this was a good and a bad thing they would finally be together with Greenville. But Lucinda would do everything in her power to see that she won.

Lucinda gave an evil chuckled and sighed happy to see everything was starting to fall together that soon she would reign supreme. “Good the tune has finally come for my takeover the prince and princess is nothing compared to what i can do.”

“Of course my queen.”

“Good so be ready because when the barrier drops.” Lucinda ordered when it dropped the takeover would commence and she would let no one stand in her way. Happy to find out that Emma was

“Bring them in.” Lucinda was ready to make sure her plan was not disrupted by anyone.

“Yes my queen.” He bowed and headed out of the throne roo,

Lucinda sighed putting the papers down and crossing her legs and waiting for them to return.

Soon The guard walked back in with Cameron and Xavier. They were tired of being summoned by her but they knew she was being paranoid about te upcoming events. “Yes Lucinda how can we be of service to you.”

“As you know soon i will be invading Greenville and taking my rightful place as the queen of the world and i need to make sure the two of you stay in your place.” Lucinda knew the two were sure to cause trouble once they got their daughter to safety. She knew the only reason they hadn’t was because their daughter was out there and they could not risk it.

“And why would we step out.” Cameron asked.

“Because your daughter is going to be there obviously.” Lucinda knew that was a sure reason for them to decide they wanted to try and beat her. She knew if the two had worked together they might have just succeeded.

“That doesn’t mean anything to me.” Xavier reminded he could have taken her but he wouldn’t risk the life of his wife. He knew his little girl was stronger then he would ever be.

“We’re sure our daughter can take care of herself.” Cameron stated she didn’t need to hurt Lucinda when she knew her daughter was eventually going to make everything right.

“I’m sure she can too but that wasn’t the point.” Lucinda scoffed she hated that they were not even caring right now it infuriated her. How they always had to act as i they were simply better than her when she knew they weren’t.

“You won’t have to worry about us.” Cameron promised she couldn’t wait for her daughter to rip this evil little bitch a new one.

Lucinda chuckled she would believe that but she knew how much the two hated her and how much they wanted her dead. She was sure when the time was right they would try to help her. “Right sure i don’t but i know you two and i know otherwise i know you are saying this in an attempt to trick me inot thinking that you two won’t help your only child but i know that is a lie.”

“It is not a lie Lucinda we don’t care about you that much.” Xavier admitted with a chuckled he didn’t care what Lucinda said he had never really cared about her even when they were children in the Fire Nation. “Do whatever you want that has never changed?”

Lucinda scoffed standing and stomping over to him. Even after all these years she hated how he could remain so indifferent to her when he could have had this with her. “I don’t understand how you can continue to stick by her despite the fact that you could have had power.”

“Power isn’t always everything Lucinda.” Xavier reminded he never cared about what she wanted he was only ever civil for his wife and child. That was going to soon change when this was all over. “This is my wife and nothing you do will change that.”

“Ugh you always had to be so complicated when there was no need for that.” Lucinda knew she hadn’t always wanted to takeover but when she lost him nothing mattered but causing trouble with her best friend. But then her too changed when she had fell in love with the prince of the kingdom they were supposed to conquer.

“Lucinda you will never have what we have no matter how hard you try to.” Cameron said. She knew to everyone else her and Xavier were simply a walking miracle but she knew better. She knew they had went through a lot to get here.

“That is what you think.” Lucinda scoffed she would have him if it was the lsat thing she did she would get him back.

“That is what we know your Majesty.” Cameron teased she knew Lucinda was never going to amount to nothing because she was obsessed with what she could not have.

“We know you could never have anything close to what we have.” Xavier said he and Cameron had grown a lot and they had remained strong in their relationship.

“Ugh i hate you two with a passion.”

“We feel the same way.”
