The ball

Layla and Liana walked into the room where they had left her father and Romona now seeing that Ethan, Zamiyah and Liam were there waiting for them.

“Oh my god you look amazing sis.” Ethan commented he couldn’t believe his sister was actually doing this he was proud of her for going through with this.

“Beautiful.” Zamiyah commented she was proud of her sister for hwat she was about to do.

“Are you ready?” Henry asked he knew this was going to be a big deal for his lil girl and he wanted to make sure she was indeed ready for it.

“Beautiful sissy.” Liam said going to hug his sister. He was so happy for her.

Liana nodded she knew this was going to be a special day for her daughter and she couldn’t wait. “Yeah you do baby you look beautiful.”

“I’ve never made a better creation then this.” Romona commented she was proud of herself and she couldn’t wait for Layla to be seen in it.

Layla nodded she loved it but she knew if she wanted to be not seen this wasn’t exactly the way to go. “Shouldn’t we have i don’t know not done all of this if i don’t want to be seen.”

“There was no way you wouldn’t have been seen babygirl.” Liana commented she knew there was no way to hide her babygirl from anyone. She would always shine. “In whatever crowd you are going to shine the brightest.”

Layla knew she was right they were all right they had all said it and she hated to admit it was true. “Right lets do this.”

“Carriage is waiting we will see you when this is all over.” Henry promised he knew when this was over his baby girl was going to be doing so much more in life.

“See you guys.” Layla smiled.

Her dad held out his hand walking her out of the house and to the carriage. He was proud of her for still coming even though she knew what was going to happen. “Remember what we said Layla.”

“I do.” Layla nodded. She was ok with it she was ready for it or she was going to try to be.

“You made us so proud. No matter what happens tonight we love you.”

“I love you guys too.”


“Go have fun dance be you.”

“I will.”

“Good.”

When the carriage arrived to the palace it entered through the gates stopping right outside. Soon the footman came and opened the door holding his hand out and helping her to stepdown from the carriage. “Right this way Miss Linwood.”

“Thank you.”

“Just follow the line of girls getting introduced. You are the last to arrive living so far from the palace.”

“Thank you.” She held her dress up as she followed in the line eyes already following her she sighed knowing this was good to be a long night. She started to mumble to herself. “I got this everything will be fine.” She was trying to keep herself calm and to keep her powers from flaring up.

She watched as other girls were being introduced she looked to the balcony only seeing the king and queen the prince nowhere to be found. She had three more people before it would be her turn.

“Introducing Jessica Fairway daughter to Richard and Abigail Fairway.” Jessica curtseided before walking away.

“Introducing McKeznie Liconln daughter to Gabriel and Celeste Lincon.” McKenzie Curtizied before walking away.

“Introducing Rena daughter of Maxine and Lena ” Lena curtized before walking away.

It was finally her turn she walked up standing front and center. “And last but not least introducing Layla Linwood daughter to Liana and Henry Linwood.” She curtized before heading down the stairs.

“You’re here i was sure your sister would have tried to talk you out of it.” She turned at the familar voice.
