Chapter 10 Sebastian,I'm Dying
"Sebastian,we could have ended this marriage peacefully but since you're unwilling to do so,let's meet in court."
Eleanor was a woman who wouldn't budge no matter how hard or soft one tried to persuade her. She would only shed a few tears after being bullied before returning back to normal. For the first time ever,Sebastian didn't know where to start breaking down such an unyielding person.
He had originally disdained acquiring The Stone Family enterprise but now he realized that he needed it as soon as possible. Only by taking over The Stone Family and making them go bankrupt would Eleanor be restrained enough to listen obediently and become his qualified blood bank tool. He attributed this twisted possessiveness towards hating Eleanor for wanting a divorce from him; he just didn't want what she wanted.
"It seems like my punishment wasn't severe enough if you haven’t learned your lesson!" After speaking these words out loud,Sebastian grabbed Eleanor's hand tightly and pulled her up from the ground.
She felt weightless in his arms like holding onto a feather rather than someone who stood at 168cm tall with an appropriate weight for their height.
Eleanor was caught off guard by his sudden action: "Let go of me! I can walk on my own!"
Of course men never listened to women’s words; instead they tightened their grip around their waist while walking towards the bedroom door.
He threw her onto the bed then opened the drawer and took out a set of keys.
"You seem to be in good spirits. Three days without food shouldn't be a problem for you."
The man's cold, emotionless words made Eleanor shiver as she looked at him incredulously.
"Are you going to lock me up here for three days?"
Sebastian wasn't just saying it; his dark eyes swept over her with a hint of malice before turning around and leaving.
Ignoring the pain in her body,Eleanor rolled off the bed and hurriedly chased after Sebastian from behind.
There was a loud "bang!" sound as he closed the door, causing the entire wall to shake. The sound of locking echoed from outside.
"Sebastian, let me out! My stomach hurts... I'm scared..."
"What does that have to do with me?" Sebastian sneered back at her through the door.
Eleanor kept pounding on the door but couldn’t tell if Sebastian was still there or not due to its soundproofing. She could only beg him repeatedly to let her go while leaning against it with tears streaming down her face: "Sebastian,I'm dying..."
