Chapter 25 When to Divorce

The young nurse took a step back,her back covered in cold sweat. She was truly frightened.
She had worked in the hospital for so long and had encountered people getting angry before,even cases of medical disputes,but none were as terrifying as this one.
Sebastian's eyes were bloodshot from lack of rest. Now that he was enraged,they looked like they were filled with blood.
The young nurse thought about finding an excuse to leave when she suddenly saw Sebastian grin widely. However,the smile disappeared just as quickly as it appeared. His eyes remained icy-cold and his face looked ferocious - like a demon crawling out of hell ready to take lives.
The young nurse hurriedly pulled out her phone and pretended to be calm while saying: "Sir,please go inside and accompany your wife. I have something else to attend to now. If you need anything urgent,please press the button on the bedside."
With that said,she hastily left the room.
She thought inwardly: It seems that what Dr. Miller said is true; Sebastian doesn't really care about Eleanor at all! Otherwise how could he not notice so many loopholes? He easily judged Eleanor's "crime".
She needed to tell Dr.Miller about this matter quickly before any harm came upon their patient!
Thinking this way made her run even faster towards Dr.Miller's office.
Sebastian clenched onto the report tightly for quite some time until he finally let out a low chuckle with his mouth twisted upwards into a smirk - making him look even more chilling than before.
He pushed open the door of Eleanor's ward lightly but actually held onto it so hard that his knuckles turned white while veins popped up on them due to tension.
Eleanor glanced over when she heard movement nearby only to see Sebastian standing there calmly with an expressionless face which caused her body shiver involuntarily.
Her intuition told her that Sebastian was suppressing his anger. After all,she had been with him for so many years and knew his temper well. But why was he angry now?
She looked at him up and down before finally stopping on the roll of paper in his hand. Her eyesight was good enough to see the words "medical record" written on it vaguely. She thought about it for a moment before realizing that David's fake medical report must have worked - Sebastian believed it!
Eleanor opened her mouth: "Has my father's matter been resolved?"
"Is there nothing else you want to say to me except your father?" Sebastian took two or three steps forward until he stood right beside Eleanor's bed.
"What else is there?" Eleanor pretended to look puzzled as she gazed at him but then suddenly realized something and said mockingly,"Sebastian,do you really think we can still live together peacefully as husband and wife? You caused my dad to be imprisoned,made The Stone Family go bankrupt,humiliated me publicly by making me kneel in front of the media...you even almost killed me during surgery..."
Eleanor listed one example after another just to provoke Sebastian but each word hurt her deeply.
Her eyes turned red without warning but she didn't want Sebastian to see them so she closed them tightly instead.
In Sebastian's eyes,this kind of attitude meant that Eleanor didn't want anything more than getting away from him; she had truly decided on divorce!
The thing he hated most in life was being coerced or deceived by others - which is exactly what Eleanor did!
Since it was her who proposed marriage back then,now he wouldn't let her leave no matter what happened between them. Even if they were only married in name alone without any feelings involved!
