Chapter 29 Sebastian's Late Night Private Meeting with Victoria

After David left,Eleanor asked the nurse to take her to the bathroom.
The female nurse saw that Eleanor had been idle all day,just staring out of the window at the dead silver maple tree.
"Ms. Stone,do you want to watch TV for a while?"
Eleanor was staying in a VIP single room with a separate bathroom and shower room,as well as air conditioning and television. The TV was connected to the internet so she could watch anything she wanted. However,during her stay there,she had never turned it on even once.
Eleanor nodded in response: "Please turn it on."
The nurse happily took the remote control and turned on the TV. She was about to find a popular drama series when coincidentally breaking news popped up.

Feeling embarrassed by what appeared on screen,the nurse tried pressing return but Eleanor stopped her by reaching out her hand.
"Let's see what they're saying," said Eleanor calmly.
"Okay...okay." replied hesitantly by Nurse.
The video clip showed two people holding hands in a parking lot intimately; however their faces were blurry except for Sebastian’s face which caught Eleanor’s attention immediately. In her mind flashed an image of deep-set eyes looking coldly and mockingly at her.
Eleanor watched quietly without much emotion stirred within herself since she has seen worse than this before.
What made her laugh though was that last week this man told her he wouldn't divorce yet here he is being captured online together with Victoria late at night like lovebirds! It became headline news!
She couldn't figure out how Sebastian thought because he hated her but didn't want to divorce either; loved Victoria but refused giving any security to her. He was a typical two-timer and she didn't know when he would split.
Eleanor felt a headache coming on,so she pressed her temples and said to the nurse: "Let's find something else to watch."
The nurse breathed a sigh of relief,found a TV series for them to watch,then turned back cautiously with an inquisitive look.
She couldn't keep things bottled up inside herself; sensing that the atmosphere had become somewhat heavy,she couldn't help but say some comforting words to Eleanor.
"You can't believe everything you see online. Most of what marketing accounts post is fake."
Eleanor gave a light sneer. It was true that one could not trust everything posted by marketing accounts but this news about Sebastian was as real as it gets.
Taking a deep breath,Eleanor suppressed the pain overflowing from her heart.
The television played the latest popular family drama which made the nurse laugh out loud while watching it beside Eleanor who seemed engrossed in it too. The nurse suddenly realized that she might have disturbed Eleanor’s rest and asked apologetically: "Ms. Stone,did I disturb you?"
"No," replied Eleanor calmly while still looking at the screen without really seeing anything.
The nurse breathed another sigh of relief after hearing this response since most patients usually took naps around this time point (1:30 pm). She asked again: "Do you want me to turn off the TV so you can rest?"
"It's okay; leave it on. It makes things livelier." Once there was no sound in the ward,everything became silent which made whole room feel lonely - different from being alone at home where loneliness wasn’t scary because there were other people outside.
The nurse thought highly of Eleanor and believed only Sebastian failed to appreciate her worthiness.
Regardless if whether or not Eleanor had feelings for someone else or not; once he married her he should take responsibility for her. Going out to meet his ex-girlfriend while still married was not just cheating but also ridiculous that people online praised Sebastian as a good man.
