CHAPTER 31

Casabella's POV
Throughout the night, I kept crying not because I was feeling pain all over my body alone but because of how heartless they'll make me become when I take up my possession.
I'll make sure they beg for mercy and regret ever stepping on me. And I promise to show them what I am made of.
I'll make you all pass through hell just like you guys did to me and I will never relent until I make you guys feel how I feel right now.
The time is kicking for you guys and only a few more moments with you guys before your suffering begins.
I slept off with pain, bitterness and sadness in me for what they're about to turn me into but that won't change my attitude towards others because of them.
I know by tomorrow,  I'll start my plans on how to get my revenge on Lora and Annie in a strong and bolder way to claim my wealth and jail them.
Madison's POV
"You don't have to let your opponent know your weakness or it will ruin you."
"Alright thank you once again, Mr Clinton."
"You're welcome Miss Williams." 
"Can I ask a question if you don't mind?"
"Go on."
"How come you don't show this good side of yours to anyone but act the other way round?"
"I don't have an answer to that question of yours, Miss Williams. Get some rest, we're leaving first thing in the morning." 
"Please Mr Clinton, I want to know. They have got to be a reason why you always act rudely to everyone."
"Miss Williams, I like keeping my life private but since you insist I'll tell you." 
"I'm all ears."
"Not everyone deserves to be treated nicely because there is one or some motive they have against you but won't show it. That was one of my mistakes back then but not anymore." 
"But not everyone one is like that. Take a look at me or even your best friend. It does have to be so." 
"Alex and I are different, Miss Williams. He's my best friend so I can't act that way with him and as for you, I don't know you much so I can't say."
"Sorry to say, Mr Clinton but you're wrong about me. I'm not someone who betrays or has any motive against my counterpart. I've lived a simple life all my life and have lived peacefully with everyone."
"It's easy for you to say that, Miss Williams but that can't change my views with everyone."
"Alright. Good night." I responded feeling there is a reason behind this attitude and it's fine if he doesn't want to share it with anyone but I hope you'll learn to understand not everyone is the same.
"Good night, Miss Williams." He answered and walked away to his room while I opened the door to my room and walked in.
Marks POV
I walked into the room and shut the door but couldn't forget the words  she said.
I know she's right but she's too innocent to know not everyone is to be trusted.
I saw it in her eyes how she felt when she kept staring at her ex-boyfriend. She trusted him with everything but at the end he broke her heart.
It applies to everyone around us. We fall flatly to people thinking they won't betray us but in the end they will and it is inevitable in our lives.
My mother betrayed my father and us after that my ex-girlfriend betrayed him so why should I trust someone again and a woman? It is absurd because it is in their blood, it's like a virus in their body that can't be cursed easily but only a serious and determined woman will avoid that but I haven't even anyone like that.
I walked away from the door and walked towards the shower to take my bath.
After cleaning up, I walked out of the shower, dressed up in my shorts and armless t-shirt and walked over to the bed to work on my laptop.
The moment I picked up the laptop, a notification came up on my phone. It was from Leo. I opened the message and read out. 
"The job is done, King but we found something in his room while cleaning up his dead body."
The message got me thinking which made me call him instead of replying to the message.
"I just got your message Leo. What is it all about?" 
"We found a pen drive with some documents in his room."
"Bring it over." I replied and dropped the call.
What could be in the drive and what documents? I hope it has to do with something that will lead me to straight to 'THE DEVIL'S EYE'
In less than a couple of minutes, I heard a knock on the door and gave approval knowing he was the one.
"Boss!" He uttered together with Jonas.
"What's the document about and where is the pen drive?"
"We didn't check it out but I'm sure there is something vital in the drive."
"Let me have it ." I ordered and collected the document along with the pen drive.
I opened the first page of the documents and saw a list of some people whose names were ticked with red ink. 
"I still don't understand these." I wondered and flipped the other page and saw pictures of people with the names on the list with locations.
This makes sense now. It means the people who they have killed so far and the ones they are planning to kill but that will end because I've come into the picture.
I kept checking the pictures until I saw my sister's picture.
"How's this possible?" I voiced out.
"What's wrong Boss?" Leo asked and I handed over the document to him to have a look.
"This is your sister's picture Boss" Jonas uttered.
"I want you both to find out everything about this but first let's see what the pen drive contains." I stated and turned on my laptop and inserted the drive.
The moment it was detected, two folders showed up. I checked the first one to see pictures of the people they had killed. I closed it and opened the next one to see the next set of people they want to eliminate including my sister's picture and Alex home address and finally saw the last person who's image isn't there but the name written was 'The Secret Mafia king' which happens to be me with an unspecified location. 
There's no way they'll know who I am or where to find me.
"This is impressive. The devil's eye really knows how to play this game but doesn't know who is really good at playing the game best."
"They are after my sister and me but they still don't have any hint I'm the Mafia king who rules the whole of America and no one else."
"Who really are these people?" Leo murmured.
"Time will tell, Leo. I'll figure out who is behind all these soon enough but first I want you both to do something."
"Tell us, King." Jonas inquired, eagerly.
"Chill Jonas. Remember, those set of people are still this particular people who ambushed you?"
"Is that so?"
"Yes, so that means you can't do all these alone with Leo  without a little help from our old time people."
"You mean the 'lite group' from France?" Leo uttered.
"Yes, send a message to Collins and inform him I need some set of his best men to undergo the mission with you both."
"It's gonna get shitty when those sets join in." Leo laughed.
"That's the fun of getting to your enemies. Make the arrangements, Jonas." I chuckled.
Those forces are the same people who trained Leo and Jonas and when it comes to missions like these they all get bloody and shitty.
"It will be done, king." 
"What's the plan boss, boss?" 
"Find the ones involved with Charles in his business and the ones I mean aren't his company crew but his illegal activities crew. I want you guys to find all of them and make them spill out what they know about these names on the list and report back to me."
"Noted, King. It will be done perfectly."
"Good. You both will stay behind and start your findings here before the special forces join you both here."
"Alright, Boss."
"That's all. Alex and Rosy mustn't get to know anything about this. It must stay hidden until new information is found."
"Noted, Boss."
"Good. I'll keep the drive with me. You can both go."
"Leo, one more thing. Make sure you keep an eye on the discussion we talked about."
"I'll have it done soon."
"Okay, King." They responded in unison and took their leave.
I can't believe Rosy will be included in the list of people they want to eliminate but what's their connection with her or are they the same people who raped her and killed our father? 
It's only a matter of time to find out everything but first I must ensure her safety once I arrive in New York.
