CHAPTER 34

Casabella's POV
I just don't like his guts but in some ways I felt happy to see him again.
"No bella, you're probably not thinking straight to claim to miss someone who was rude to you." I whispered to myself.
I need to pick up the flowers from the flower shop down the road and also get some groceries in the King's plaza. I just hope I don't see him there since he's the owner of the shopping mall and might probably be heading that way.
It is all Lora's fault for instructing me to get a bouquet of flowers when she could go there. About their punishment yesterday, you all wouldn't want to know what happened.
Lora kept using cursed words and all that when I head to the living room to meet them but guess what? She couldn't lay a finger on me and the same applied to Annie but I did caution Annie to watch her words or she won't leave to know what will happen next.
However, they couldn't stop ranting until they got tired and stopped but as usual Lora assigned loads of work to me which I didn't complain but it pained me I couldn't carry out my second plan on them.
The second plan is a simple one. I just have to inject their food with a drug that will make their asses on fire which I'll purchase in a pharmacy.
I still feel I'm acting all pitiful towards them. I don't really know how to become evil as them even if I want to just get back at them.
But anyways they deserve whatever is coming their way. Get ready for the hot cake Lora and Annie because I'll make sure you guys know what I am made of.
Madison's POV
"Sorry sweetie. I know how it feels to meet with the person who you never wished to see again."
"It's okay mum. I'm over him anyway so he's my past."
"That's right princess. You only have to live for yourself now."
"Yes dad. About the plots of land you got for me, I was thinking of checking the site and starting up my own company as soon as possible."
"What a brilliant idea! I'm always with you."
"Same here baby but I do hope to see Mr handsome and thank him for helping my baby girl."
"Mum, you can't meet him, okay?"
"Why honey?"
"You just can't mum. I really don't want to associate much with him. Also, nothing is going on between us as you're thinking."
"I'm really not thinking that way, baby. I just want to meet him and say thank you for looking out for my daughter."
"Still, you can't because he's in the States."
"I know but someday I'll meet him."
"Sure. I want to know what you both have been doing while I was away."
"Your dad and I are thinking of spending some quality time away as well in the States."
"Wow! That's wonderful. When will you guys be going?"
"In less than a month."
"I'm so happy for you both. You both love seems undying and unflinching. I wish mine was that way from the beginning but anyways congratulations."
"Thank you princess. I believe you too will come across a man who will show you pure love."
"I wish that was true but that moment is gone for me."
"It isn't honey. Just take your dad's words into consideration."
"Anyways, I'm going to my room. I want to rest my head a bit."
"Okay princess."
"Baby, I'll have a maid bring you fresh orange juice."
"Sure mum. Thanks."
The moment I walked into my room, I remembered I hadn't called Mark to inform him of my safe arrival.
I pulled out my phone from my coat and placed a call across to him.
Mark's POV
I was getting out of my car when my phone buzzed with a call from Madison. I guess she's calling to thank me.
The bodyguard I assigned as her escort already called about thirty minutes ago and gave me the report of her safe landing. I hope it isn't something that went wrong for her.
I picked up the call and got out of the car.
"Hi Mark. I totally forgot to call you and inform you of my safe arrival."
"It's nothing Miss Williams. My bodyguard already informed me about it."
"I just want to say thank you."
"The pleasure is mine, Miss Williams."
"You can call me by my name, Mark. I guess we shouldn't keep up with the formalities anymore."
"Okay Madison. Less I forget, I need a favour from you just like the one in Spain."
"I'm all ears."
"There's a party I will be attending in three weeks time over there in London. If you don't mind, can you join me as one of my investors?"
"I'll be more than delighted to join you."
"Great. I hope to see you soon."
"It's okay Mark. Thanks once more for everything."
"You're welcome Madison." I dropped the call and trooped towards the entrance of the mansion when I met Victor coming out.
"Victor, you're here? What brings you unannounced?"
"King! I've been waiting for you for a couple of minutes. I've got important information on the personal research you asked me to dig in."
"Tell me it's a clue on the mastermind behind the incident!"
"Yes King and it's even more than that."
"Okay, let's head to my study room and talk privately." I stated and we both made our way inside the mansion and took the stairs to my study room.
"Have a seat, Victor."
"Thank you, King."
"So let's get straight to the information you've got."
"Yeah, about that. Your father's death and sister's rape incident is connected to a man named,'THE DEVIL'S EYE'. He was hired by someone to carry out that mission but I'm yet to find out who hired him."
"You don't mean it, Victor. Is it the same devil's eye I've been hearing about and is trying to kill my sister and trying to find my real identity and end me as well?"
"There's only one devil's eye I have heard about but how do you mean he's after Rosy and your life?"
"It's a long story I'll tell you some other time but first I want you to still dig in and find out who hired the devil's eye and what the devil's eye looks like."
"I will try my best, King."
"You have to, Victor. I'm really counting on you. Once I find out who those mother fuckers are, I'll sure kill them."
"I'll look into it with all my connections."
"Good. That's all. You can go and start the research."
"Okay, King. I'll be on my way now." He stated and I nodded my head in acknowledgement.
I won't spare that son of bitch called 'THE DEVIL'S EYE'. I'll make sure I end his story so he won't have to accept any money to kill innocent people and as for the person who hired him to murder my father and rape my sister, he won't leave to tell anyone."
Casabella's POV
After grabbing all the necessary stock and flowers, I took a cab home due to how the stock was too much for me to carry alone.
I paid the cab driver and highlighted from the car and held the groceries and the flowers in my hands as I walked inside.
I saw my uncle's car packed inside the house. I guess he's back already.
I sighed and troop inside the living room and saw him seated with a couple of files in his hands.
"Good afternoon uncle." I greeted him but he ignored me totally which gave me the idea he's not in a good mood.
Without any further words said, I strolled to the kitchen struggling with the items and dropped them on the counter.
"Where's Lora and Annie?" I wondered to myself and began to unpack the groceries, fixing them in their respective space.
"You decided to turn up now, right?" Lora uttered behind me but I kept mute and continued with my business.
"Ain't you the one I'm talking to?"
"What do you want me to say for goodness sake just because you sent me to get the groceries and flowers? If that's the case, you're always welcome to get the groceries for yourself."
"Watch your tongue Bella. I'd promise Andrew I won't lay a finger on you due to some reasons but you don't keep to your limit I'll have to forget I ever took an oath and disfigure your body."
"You wish!"
"Just wait and watch the day it will come. You won't be able to even show your face to anyone, mark my words." She vowed and stumped out.
It's her usual words to try and scare me but she has failed big time because the shit ain't going to work for me and I'll see how she will try.
People like her shouldn't have been born by humans. She's simply no difference from a demonic creature using human flesh as disguise.
