CHAPTER 68

Mark’s POV
I kept strolling around the door waiting for the doctor’s report on her health. It's been almost twenty minutes since he went inside the room and hasn’t walked out to say anything about her health.
“She will be fine buddy.” Alex whispered, holding on to my shoulder.
“I know Alex but I’m just worried about her parents. How do you expect me to break such news to them?”
“Yeah man, I know but I’m sure they will understand the situation.”
“Yes brother. All you have to do is come out clean and tell them.”
“Okay but I have to know how she’s doing first before I can give them a call.” I stated.
The moment I finished my words, we heard the door being unlocked as the doctor walked out of the room.
“How is she Doctor Van?” I asked.
“She isn’t used to being inside the rain, that's why she felt sick but you don’t have to worry, I’ve administered some drugs for her which she has to take now and before bed time.”
“I will make sure she takes them. Thank you Doctor Van.”
“You’re welcome Mr Clinton. She will be perfectly back to normal by tomorrow.”
“Okay.” I answered and walked inside the room to find her sleeping soundly and moved over to sit on the bed.
“Get well soon.” I whispered and kissed her forehead.
“Mark!” She called out in a low voice and opened her eyes.
“Yes, how are you feeling?” I inquired, holding her cheeks.
“I’m a bit better. Did you call my parents?”
“Not yet but I am planning to call them and tell them.”
“Don’t tell them about my health. I don’t want them getting worried about me.”
“But they have to know about it. You know they will be worried why you haven’t shown up or called them so let me tell them, okay?”
“Please, don’t tell them about it. I know what I am saying Mark. You can only tell them, I am spending the night with you. Please do this for me.”
“Alright, I won’t tell them.”
“Thank you. I need a favour from you.”
“Tell me, what is it?”
“I know it might sound a bit unpleasant but can you lay beside me so I can feel the warmth of your body. I’m still feeling a bit cold.”
“It really isn’t something to be ashamed of. I accept that I'll join you but on one condition.” I chuckled.
“What condition?”
“You have to take the medicine the doctor administered for you.”
“Okay.” She smiled lightly.
“Let me get the water you will use in taking the drugs.” I said and walked out of the room.
I headed to the kitchen myself and poured out the water on a glass cup and trooped back to the room to find her resting her back on the bed stand.
I placed the water on the nightstand and opened up the drugs and handed it to her which she took with the water and rested back on the bed.
After doing away with water and drugs, I walked over to the other side of the bed and joined her, pulling the duvet to my body before hugging her.
“How are you feeling now?”
“I feel good.” She answered, hugging me back.
I was trying so hard to control my body as her well curved body was only a pure temptation any man can try to resist. I pray I can survive this great temptation throughout today.

Casabella’s POV
I opened my eyes lazily to see Mark sleeping calmly and holding me so protectively. He looks really cute when sleeping.
I kept staring at his face, especially his lips. I still can’t believe he kissed me on the lips. It was really a wild feeling I never wanted for it to stop.
However, I feel so happy he’s the one who stole my first kiss. He’s really a nice man I have gotten so fond of and can’t do without him.
I wasn’t feeling really cold after the doctor checked up on me. I don’t know why but I wanted him around me that’s why I requested him to join me.
Also it might be my last moment with him this close to one another. I wish we were more than acting lovers but it’s all over since the contract is successful.
I pecked him on the cheek and removed his hands carefully around my body before getting out of the bed.
I roamed my eyes around the room and saw two doors apart from the main door and strolled over the first one to check if it was his dressing room before moving over to the other one which was the bathroom.
I walked inside as the scent of mint wash hit my nostril while still checking out the bathroom.
I turned on the water in the shower to hot before stripping out of his shirt and stepping inside the shower.
After taking my bath, I took one of the towels on the stand and tied it around my body before moving to the basin to wash my face.
Mark’s POV
I woke up on hearing the spilling of water coming from the bathroom to see she wasn’t on the bed.
I can’t believe I slept off while having so many wild thoughts about Madison and I. It’s a good thing I controlled myself or it would have been really bad.
I checked the clock on the wall to see it was already 6 pm before I got off the bed to check up on Rosy and Alex who I am sure had been worried about me.
I was on my way to open the door when the door to the bathroom was opened, only for me to turn around and see Madison only on a towel around her body and her hair was dripping wet.
For a minute I lost all my senses and kept checking her out before her words snapped me back.
“You’re up already?”
“Yes. How do you feel?”
“I’m feeling good now. Thank you.” She replied uncomfortably and crossed her hands on her cheat.
“You’re welcome. I guess you need something to wear, right?”
“Yes.” She answered shyly as I walked over to my wardrobe and picked one of my T-shirts and trooped towards her.
She took her face to the round as I stood close to her inhaling my mint bath wash on her body.
“You can get dressed in this before I get you a new dress.”
“Okay. Thank you.” She took it from me and looked me in the face before looking away again.
“Get dressed and come downstairs for dinner.” I added as she only nodded in response.
I didn’t want to take my eyes off her but I had since she was already feeling uncomfortable with my gaze on her.
“You decided to show up now. It really looks to me you both are a thing.” Alex stated as I walked down the stairs to join him in the living room.
“There’s nothing going on between us and if they were, you’d be the first to know.”
“I see but your actions made me believe you both are really a thing. I hope you’re still keeping your words about Casabella.”
“I can’t forget about her buddy and the most amazing thing that got me attracted to Madison is her new change of attitude and voice.”
“Yeah bro. Her voice seems a bit off and the way she acts.”
“The voice sounds exactly as Casabella’s own and the way I feel whenever Casabella is around is also exactly how I feel around this new Madison with her attitude.”
“I think something is strange somewhere.”
“That’s what I will have to find out.” I suggested.
“What do you want to find out?” Rosy asked behind us.
“It’s the product the marketing department has been working on that I need to find out about the product.”
“Oh… that’s great. How is Madison’s health?”
“She is a lot better and will join us soon.”
“Okay. Dinner is ready, shall we go to the dining table before she joins us.”
“Alright.” Alex responded as he got up and followed her while I trail behind them.
We all settled in the dining area as the dishes were already displayed before us as we awaited Madison’s presence.
After waiting for another minute, I left the dining room to go and pick her up feeling she must have lost her way when I saw her with a maid coming towards the dining area.
She was looking sexy in my clothes revealing her fresh looking thighs sending a series of wild imagination on my head. I couldn’t take my eyes off them as she stood close to me.
“I got worried you might have lost your way to get to the dining.” I uttered as the maid left.
“Yes but the maid was the one who saw me and offered me a helping hand.”
“Let go.” I urged her as we strolled to the dining area.
