Chapter 153 part 7
**Avery**
He growls in frustration, his hands moving to my hips, lifting me until I’m flush against him. I wrap my legs around his waist, feeling the head of his cock press against my entrance. “Now,” he demands, his voice rough with need. I nod, my breath catching as he thrusts into me, filling me completely. We both groan, the sensation overwhelming, and I cling to him as he begins to move, his hips snapping against mine. The forest around us fades away, leaving only the two of us, our bodies moving in perfect harmony.
Conner’s hands grip my ass, holding me tight as he fucks me with a rhythm that’s both passionate and tender. I meet his thrusts, my nails digging into his shoulders as I ride him, our bodies slick with sweat. The air is filled with the sounds of our labored breathing, our moans echoing through the clearing. “Conner,” I gasp, my orgasm building, spiraling out of control. “I’m—”
“Cum for me,” he growls, his voice commanding. “Let me feel it.” His words push me over the edge, and I cry out, my body shaking as I climax around him. Conner follows moments later, his hips stuttering as he fills me, his groan of release vibrating against my neck.
We stay like that for a long moment, our hearts pounding, our breaths slowly evening out. Conner’s hands stroke my back, his touch gentle, and I feel a sense of peace settle over me. “Avery,” he murmurs, his lips brushing my forehead, “I—”
I place a finger over his lips, silencing him. “No words,” I say softly. “Just this.”
He nods, his arms tightening around me, and we stand there, wrapped in each other, the forest around us a silent witness to our rekindled bond. The night stretches on, full of promise, and I know this is just the beginning. But for now, this moment is enough. After we bathed in the afterglow of our renewed bond, we dressed and went back to the campsite, where I expected to find everyone, but it was mostly empty. “Where’s James and the others?” I asked Clint and Conner.
“Donn and the Ancient One needed a word with him. We tried to listen in, but we were blocked,” Cassius explains.
“Point to where they went,” I demand.
“Avery, we are not going to let you walk through these woods alone,” Clint said.
I huffed. “Fine.” I rolled my eyes before I looked up at the full moon peaking through the trees. “Donn, bring James back now. I need a word with him…alone.”
Before long, they all appeared in a cloud of dark smoke. “I am not your errand boy, you know,” Donn teased.
I shake my head. “No, but you are one of my mates and you should at least obey me sometimes, especially if you expect me to listen to you.”
The Ancient One laughed as he smacked Donn on the back. “Good luck with that. That Little Queen might be too much for you to handle, my old friend.”
I scan the three of them. It looks like their talk went well, and the tension between them has lessened. Good because that’s one less thing I need to fix tonight. I walk up to James. “We have been through a lot, and I know that neither of us has made the best decisions. However, there is one thing that I am sure of. You were my destined mate. For some reason, it was altered, but we still found one another, just with extra participants. I love them and I won’t lose them. But I love you too, and I don’t want to lose you. Will you take a walk with me?”
James looked at all of the other guys. “You were right. We started to listen to that darkness as it spread doubt.” His gaze turned to me. “I have no more doubt. I love you, Avery, and I want an egg with you no matter what the future holds.”
