Chapter 66: Plans

**Avery**

When I read about BDSM in my romance books, I had always been curious but I never thought that I would ever have the opportunity to experience it. Now that I have, I want more. I don't know how experienced my mates are with it, but I know that they would be open to experimenting with me. I am just unsure if I can be brave enough to ask them about it. On the way to the palace to retrieve our backpacks, we stopped at a small boutique in the human world. It had both men's and women's fashions with a vintage feel. But I did get this odd feeling, but it passed quickly so I dismissed it.

When we got back to the palace, the other guys were anxiously waiting for us. Apparently, they called the school and said that they would be late too. When we finally arrived at school everyone was talking about prom, everyone except for the Hoity Hags. All they did was murder me with their eyes. I know that they will try something, I just don't know what. As I was sitting in final period beside Clint, I texted Draven to be open. He will know what that means because I intend to glamour him to entice the Hags.

Including the school staff, we all know that it will be an act. After all, it isn't every day that Naga gets a student from Talos. I read about various tribes and decided to pick the one that was the furthest away and that we only knew very little about. The King Of Kings has never graced Naga with his presence and if there weren't documented accounts of his existence I would think that he was a myth just like Santa Claus.

The principal announced the final details about prom as well as how the voting would be done to determine the prom king and queen. Clint leaned over and whispered, “You will be the queen. Which one of us do you want as your king?”

I didn't want anyone to overhear us, so I opened our link. “I will not choose. I love and want each of you.”

Clint stroked my cheek, “Avery, I was only asking for prom. I love you too, and we are going shopping later.”

“Can we go to that big mall?”

He smiled, “Yes.”

“Can Tim join us for a bit?”

“Sure. We can get a snack in the food court and then you are mine,” he said with a naughty glint in his eyes that made my stomach flutter and my skin prickle with heat. I felt Regina twirl around with excitement. I wish that I was as adventurous and bold as she is, but I am just still weary of it all. I still feel as if this is a dream that will descend into the nightmares that I am all too familiar with.

The rest of The Trio went along with us because they needed to get ties for their tuxedos to match whatever color dress I chose. I texted Tim the moment we left the dragon world. Once at the mall, we went into several stores before I found one that had several dresses to choose from. I tried on many before I found one that felt like a second skin. With confidence that I didn't know that I had, I exited my dressing room and stood in front of my mates.

The floor-length strapless mermaid-style dress with a trumpet flared skirt cascades around me. The fitted bodice created deep cleavage while providing support for my boobs. When I twirled, the skirt flared out to show sheer panels of shimmering stones. The light caught them and enhanced the deep purple-blue color of the dress. I felt like a goddess. Clint winks at his brothers before he comes up to me. He picks me up and spins me around. As he lowers me down, he whispers, “You are a vision…a beautiful dream that I hope to never wake from.”

His eyes brimmed with emotion before he kissed me. I pushed back tears because this intimate moment flooded my senses with overwhelming joy. Before I had never understood why people cried when they were happy, but this moment showed me why. Clint pulled back from our kiss and spun me to face his brothers. His strong arms circled my waist from behind as he rested his chin on the top of my head. “Grab me a necktie too. Avery and I will meet you at the food court,” Clint said.

What is he up to? Before I could ask him, he scooped me up and carried me into the dressing room.

**Tim’s POV**

My cousin has me handling tribe business while he is away. As I was heading to our palace, I received a text from Avery. She said that she was on the way to the mall where we met to shop for prom. The school year in Naga, if she is going with one of them, has barely started, so it surprised me that they were having prom so soon. It is also early for humans too. I will ask her where the prom is, if she will even answer me. I know that I can not reveal that I am from Talos so I will use the name of a nearby human school. I hate lying to her, but I must. She can not know that I am a dragon. Avery is human and she doesn't belong with dragons. If she is with that Draco brother, I am going to have to find a way to get her away. They don't treat women well and certainly should not be with a human girl.
