CHAPTER 11

When the couple arrived at the restaurant Encha behaved so well that Nevaeh felt very relieved.
The two families got along well together and many interesting stories of Encha’s childhood popped up making Encha so embarrassed she wanted to run away but how could Keaton allow that to happen?
He held firmly her hand and let her drown in embarrassment, her flushed face looked very cute.
“Since the kids are in love with each other, they should get married. We should select a date,” Aminah didn’t want to waste any time anymore since they were all familiar with each other.
“That correct, we shouldn’t delay it any longer,” Nevaeh agreed with that.
The sooner the two get legally hooked, the less she will worry.
“What do you think Keaton?” Kasper asked his son.
“I was thinking of her eighteenth birthday, we can make it a huge celebration. I don’t think I can wait any longer than that,” Keaton replied his dad as well as the elders in the room.
The elders couldn’t help but sigh when they saw that longing look in his eyes. Nevaeh and Isaac had been busy scrutinizing this son in law and there was nothing disappointing about him.
They witnessed how he took great care of their daughter and his feelings didn’t seem to be fake, he was genuine for her. So, having him take care of her was better since they spent most of their time away from home.
Despite the worrisome age gap, everything was good so they didn’t see any problem with that suggestion.
“What do you think, Encha?” Nevaeh asked her daughter since she was the other party involved.
“Sure, let’s do it like that. Let’s make it big,” Encha answered smoothly as she blinked those huge eyes of hers making the elders smile and laugh.
How can she be that cute? Only Keaton was aware of how cunning those eyes were.
After agreeing to the date, the elders now have something to do for the following months. After the dinner date of the two families, they separated and went their ways.
Encha was with her parents as she sings along the song that was being aired on the radio. Nevaeh and Isaac could only smile and let the girl be in her dream world. The family finally arrived at their house and Encha bid them good night and rushed to her bedroom which she locked and removed the gown off her body.
After cleaning up, she put on some pajamas and went to lie on the bed. Before she could make a call, Keaton called first and the two chatted for a while before she went to bed.
Keaton had called her to tell her that he found a cabin where they could go that weekend and spend some time together. She didn’t refuse and slept on it.
Just like that, days passed by quickly and everything was going well for everyone except for one Nadia Wallace, the lady from one of the top five families in Falcon who had been friends with Keaton for years ever since they were kids.
Nadia fell for Keaton when she was seventeen but as she was a bit younger than him by two years, she never confessed her feelings for the man but when she did Keaton firmly rejected her.
She didn’t take that well and went abroad hoping that she will forget him but that failed as well. All these years she thought that he will not be with anyone but all of a sudden, he was marrying some young girl who was not even an adult.
How can that little imp competes with her? So, Nadia went crazy and decided to deal with the little girl by herself. She had been pampered and given everything, so how could that guy reject her?
For years he will do anything for her as long as she asks, all she had to do was strip naked and dangle her naked body at him and he will fall under her spell.
The man knew that he was being used but he didn’t care at all, as long as she was with him even if it was just her body and not heart, he will do anything to keep her happy and close to him.
At least this showed that she had him in his heart even though it was for him to do some shady dealings for her.
Luke watched as the young girl who was supposed to the be the Chavez next matriarch skipping on the road on her way home from the shops. This was the perfect time for him to snatch her and have Nadia deal with her.
He had been observing her for days and he didn’t see Keaton or his men nearby which meant that she may not be that important as portrayed. It didn’t take long before he instructed his men and Enchantia was unconscious in seconds. The young girl was tied up and thrown into the van before the van sped off.
It took two hours before the van parked at an abandoned warehouse where Nadia was waiting while smoking her nth cigarette. Luke kissed Nadia lightly on her lips before Enchantia was thrown to the rough ground from the van.
Enchantia who had been pretending to be unconscious couldn’t help but groan in pain as she landed on that rough ground. Even if they hate her a lot, she didn’t remember crossing anyone lately and even if she did, did they have to use her own potions to knock her out?
“She is awake! Put her to the chair!” Luke instructed his men and Enchantia got tied to the chair.
She looked at the woman in a red dress and sparkling stilettos. She had never seen this b***h anywhere and here they were.
“Who are you?”
“A piece of shit like you doesn’t deserve to know my name but I can tell you that you took what belongs to me and I am going to kill you for that,” the red lady answered.
“What exactly is that thing?” Enchantia feigned ignorance and asked another question which earned her a slap on her cheek.
She stretched her face muscles, that really hurt so bad that she wanted to skin the red lady alive. How can she slap her like that?
“He is not a thing! I am going to kill you!” the red lady was now shouting at her angrily.
“Aunt, can you stop slapping people and just answer the goddamn question?” Enchantia didn’t care anymore but provoked the red lady further. The more she gets angry the happier she becomes.
“Since I am going to kill you then I may as well just tell you,” the lady in red gave in and began to narrate her so called story.
The more Enchantia listened, the angrier she got. How could someone be so shameless and create such an imaginary world. Keaton didn’t even see this lady at all and yet she was busy flaunting her hierarchy over her. What a joke?
“I am now in your hands; do you mind if I make one last call before you kill me?” Enchantia asked as tears spilled down her cheeks.
They all thought that they had scared her and she had accepted her fate but they never thought that she was just scheming and acting.
Luke looked at Nadia and nodded his head. He didn’t know this girl but he knew that Nadia was just being too much. It didn’t hurt to let the girl call someone for the last time.
“Go ahead and call,” Nadia said and Enchantia was given a burner phone.
She dialed Keaton’s number and he picked up after the fourth ring. Since the call was on loud speaker, she didn’t hesitate but shout at the man. She was very furious that she wanted to scratch him and show the world that he was hers.
“Bastard, I am going to burn you alive when I am done here. Just wait and see!” with that she ended the call.
Her contents were a bit puzzling since she was going to die. How can she just say something like that?
