CHAPTER 37

After the small talk that made the guest chuckle with happiness, Encha was finally handed over to Keaton who took her endowed hand in his. Encha felt electrocuted as her hand fell in Keaton’s.
It’s been five days since she last saw his face thanks to her extended family who kept her busy and going to plazas for some massages and full body treatments.
“You look handsome daddy,” she whispered with her face flushed beet red.
Hearing that “daddy” from her in front of so many people made Keaton to smile brightly that was seen by everyone watching live. They all wondered what the man heard from his bride to smile like this.
“You look exquisite yourself too.”
The two stood in front of the officiator who was all smiles seeing the love between the couple. It was rare to see people deep in love like this especially with the age gap. He had officiated a lot of couples but this couple made him see that it was not in vain to have agreed to host this wedding.
“We are all here gathered to witness the joining of Keaton Chavez and Enchantia Heartily in holy matrimony…...”
Everyone listened as the officiator kept on speaking sermons from the bible and others from well-known influencers.
When it comes to the time of making the vows the two spoke their personal vows which made everyone cringe with dog food.
“I have loved you for years and watched you from the shadows but I am happy to finally stand in front of you and everyone to show the world that you are mine and I am yours. I just want you to know that I love you and I will spend the rest of my life proving to you just how much I love you,” Keaton confessed as his gaze penetrated deep into Enchantia whose tears were threatening to fall.
“Y-you…!” she whispered, her whole being speechless from what the man had just confessed.
“It’s your turn,” he mouthed at her and she blushed.
The guests who were watching this private exchange couldn’t help but feel very sour. It wasn’t good to be fed with dog food on a day like this.
“It was never in my plans or dream that I will get to see you or get to be with you in my life but one day you just came into my life like a storm and I was swept off my feet by you. I just want you to know that I am happy to have met you, got to know you and fall for you in the way that I did. I don’t regret anything; I will always be by yourself no matter what happens. I love you, always remember that.”
The guests all cheered, this moment was just touching. Nevaeh and Darcie who were seated next to each other, held each other’s hands and were tearing up. This was just too much for them, their daughter was busy confessing her love to her man whilst they were there. To think that she was already old enough to leave them.
“This is just saddening, our baby is leaving,” Nevaeh said as she wiped the tears off her eyes.
“This is a happy day; she will be just a call away.”
Hearing that Nevaeh calmed down. Darcie was correct, Encha will be near, her matrimonial home was just minutes away and she will be going to school that is also near. She didn’t need to worry as she wasn’t leaving the city at all.
With the vows taken, the rings were finally exchanged and the guests and the love audience were taken by another wave of shock again. Keaton was just too much; he knows how to make people vomit blood with envy.
Encha smiled happily as the gold band endowed with gems was put on her finger. It didn’t have many gems but it could be seen that the gems on the ring were all rare, unique and expensive.
“I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride,” the officiator finally ended the ceremony with the declaration.
This was the first time that anyone witnessed Keaton and Enchantia kissing. Keaton didn’t put anyone in his mind or eyes as he hold his wife’s back and leaned in for a passionate kiss. He was a man that had been dying to have a taste of his woman and now that he had been given a chance.
Nevaeh and Darcie’s face were beet red as they watched Keaton devour their child like this. It was even more disturbing when Enchantia hooked her arms around Keaton’s neck. It was only after a while that the two stopped and by then Enchantia’s lips were swollen.
To think that after being shameless in front of so many people, she became so shy that she hid in his chest. This action made everyone laugh that they forgot about the dog food.
With the wedding ceremony done the two greeted the guests and the family members. After that they were brought to the Chavez mansion where the reception and the birthday party was going to be hold.
When Enchantia arrived, she went into Keaton’s bedroom where she got quickly eaten by her husband leaving her whole body weak. In the end the two took a quick shower before changing into fresh clothes that had been prepared for the reception aka birthday party.
Keaton checked carefully to see that she was properly dressed and nothing was amiss. Enchantia wore a yellow gown with black stilettos and a shawl was draped over her shoulders as Keaton found it very unsettling for her to show off her skin.
“This is a very long gown covering everything, why are you acting like this?” she asked with a pouting mouth. She just couldn’t understand her at all.
“Listen to your husband,” he spoke in a husky voice and she blushed.
She didn’t want to be in this room at all so she escaped but he caught up to her afterwards. He led her by his arm and the two finally appeared in the hall. Seeing the protagonists of the day showing up everyone cheered.
Since it was their day, they took the head seats and the second ceremony of the day began. Enchantia sat there with a smile pasted on her face as the birthday cake was brought inside. She never expected to see this kind of three tier cake being rolled in.
