CHAPTER 29

A few days passed and Enchantia was busy reading and decoding the books that the Leigh’s ancestor left. These books gave insights of the book of life that Keaton gave her that time she had been practicing all these weeks.
With these books her knowledge was enriched which made her happy. She didn’t feel sad when she heard from her parents that Darcie and Jackson had asked for a meeting.
Enchantia came clean after knowing that she had been found out but her foster parents didn’t get angry at her which made her feel better about herself. The day for the meeting finally arrived and the family of three left for the restaurant that had been reserved for the night.
With her foster parents in tow, she was like a child that was tagging along and not the party that was involved in all of this. When they arrived, they were welcomed warmly by Aya, Darcie and Jackson.
The family of three sat on their own side and Enchantia gave her warm greetings before she buried herself in the menu for some food. It’s not like there were strangers.
“Please forgive her, she just goes crazy when it comes to food,” Nevaeh chuckled as she apologized.
She couldn’t believe that Encha will act like this just after a few minutes.
“It’s okay, just let her be,” Jackson said lovingly as he looked at his daughter.
“Let’s order the food then.”
The group of six made their order and when the food came, Encha simply ignored all of them and let them talk while she devoured her food in a happily manner. They could just look at her and smile but no one disturbed her as she ate.
The group ate to their fill and began to talk to themselves.
“I think I need to leave for the restroom, you guys speak freely,” with that Enchantia left the room. She didn’t want these people to restrict themselves just because she was there.
Everyone was relieved when Enchantia left, they could speak freely and pour out their grievances.
“We are very sorry for coming to you like this, we just thought that it was time for all of us to meet and discuss about Enchantia,” Jackson spoke politely as he looked at the Heartily’s whose faces were calm.
“We have been waiting too. We have a number of questions we should like to ask and we hope that you will be forthcoming with us and don’t lie or evade it,” Nevaeh said as she looked at Darcie and Jackson.
“Please go ahead, whatever you want to know, we will tell you,” Darcie replied to Nevaeh.
“That’s good then,” Nevaeh said and drank some water before she asked her first question, “what are your plans for Enchantia?”
They never expected to receive this question so fast like this but since they have already made plans, they decided to answer the Heartily’s as this couple was legally their child’s parents.
“At first, we wanted to bring her home and let her acknowledge her roots but after meeting her, all we want is for her to accept us and give us a chance to know her and vice versa,” Darcie answered.
“This isn’t difficult at all. We have been with Encha for years and we understand her. Seeing how she agreed to let you meet us, it means that she is already accepting you and giving you a chance. You may have notice that she likes to hold grudges a lot, just make sure to make peace as soon as possible and not delay it.”
“Thank you for your confirmation, it means a lot to us to hear it.”
“What will you do if she refuses to acknowledge you as her parents and want to remain with us?” Isaac threw the question which made Darcie to tear up within seconds.
Jackson held Darcie’s hand in his, he had money, both of their families have a lot of money and power but this was useless when it comes to Enchantia because if they do anything that didn’t follow logic, she will retaliate and they will lose a chance to be with their daughter ever again.
“We won’t force her to do anything that she doesn’t want. We don’t want to take her away from you, you are her parents after all. All we ask is for a chance, I don’t mind if we are all recognized as her parents,” this was the only compromise she was willing to make.
Seeing that Darcie was willing to lower herself for them, Nevaeh liked her more. To be honest she wasn’t that selfish to harbor a child while her biological parents were this desperate and pitiful like this. What she didn’t want was to give her away to them but letting her have two sets of parents wasn’t a bad idea.
Nevaeh looked at her husband who nodded his head and this meant that he didn’t find the idea repelling.
“I think we can work on that. Now let’s talk about our daughter in detail,” Nevaeh said as she opened her heart to let them ask for anything while they answer. In the process the group began to exchange information and the process was very harmonious.
Jackson was glad to hear about Enchantia’s childhood. The kid was quite unique and special. The group talked for long without bothering Enchantia as they knew that she was around and will be there when they ask for her.

Enchantia didn’t leave the restaurant when she left the private room that her family were in but went to the other side where she got pulled into another room and her lips were immediately sealed the second the door closed.
Enchantia smiled as she let the man capture her lips for one passionate kiss as she hooked her arms around his neck and let him lead her into this passionate sea.
Keaton pressed her against the wall and gnawed at her lips as his hands roamed inside her dress and press on her bare skin. Encha moaned as she rubbed herself against her man and let him caresses her body.
