CHAPTER 40

That thin ring was a storage ring and inside there were many helpful things that she used to strengthen herself. The ring was even more helpful as the couple could use it to smuggle things wherever they go. It wasn’t always good to pay taxes wherever you go. In business you need to make profits and if you have to declare everything with the tax agencies, what profit will you ever make?
“Welcome to our humble abode,” Chandler spoke using English and the two men were quickly in a hug. She didn’t find that disturbing, they were friends so of course being happy like this was nothing.
“It’s good to see you friend. This is Enchantia my wife,” Keaton said as he introduced Encha to the couple before he looked at her and continued, “this is Chandler and Vanity Wagner, good friends and business partner.”
“It’s nice to meet you,” Encha spoke in fluent Jerunkei language which made Keaton to look at his wife in a new light.
“It’s nice to meet you too,” the couple both said in their language and everyone got together just fine.
Seeing that Encha could speak in their language, the four didn’t need to converse in English anymore so they chose to speak in Jerunkei language.
The lunch was very harmonious as Encha and Vanity became friends quickly. The two began to even talk about supernatural staff and the men left them to their talk.
It was good to see that they got along together and that they all share the same topic. Who said that vampires and witches didn’t get along well? Weren’t these two enjoying their time together.
“I will see you later at the charity banquet later this night,” Vanity spoke enthusiastically since she wasn’t ready to part with this young lady.
“Umm, then tomorrow let’s go shopping. We will be leaving Jerunkei soon,” Encha spoke with a sullen look.
“Don’t worry, just leave everything to me.”
The two couples separate and went their own ways. Keaton was happy to see that his wife could easily make friends like this but he had one very important question that he needed an answer to so he decided to interrogate her when they return to the hotel.
The second they did Encha confessed by herself and exposed the storage ring that she received. Keaton who had never seen this kind of thing before observed it with curiosity and after getting a hang of it, he looked at his wife.
“This pill is very mysterious; all you have to do is just take it and then you will be proficient in any language. All you have to do is just listen to a native and everything will be settled,” Encha explained as she handed over another pill to Keaton.
“Why didn’t you tell me this before?”
“I wanted to surprise you and show you that I am taking my role seriously. I don’t want to drag you down and make people look down on you because of me. I will work hard to be someone able to stand by your side,” Encha spoke firmly while her hands were holding his arm.
Keaton felt a gush of warmth filling his body, to think that she had been toiling hard like this made him happy.
So, Keaton embraced his little lady and showered her with kisses all over her face making her giggle for a long time.
Keaton took the pill that Encha gave her and was surprised by the warm sensation that covered his body after that. The two went through the items in the ring before they changed for the banquet.
That night Encha was introduced to a lot of people since Vanity was also another matriarch and knew a lot of ladies present. Encha had a good time with the rest of them and ignored those bad remarks about her age.
Was it her fault that she got lucky and found a man who preferred someone young? At the banquet a lot of things were getting auctioned and Encha didn’t participate much that was until an eye-catching bracelet caught her eye.
When Keaton saw his little wife’s interest in the bracelet, he bided for it until he won it. He didn’t care about the hundreds of millions he spent for it, as long as his wife was happy then all was worth it.
The ladies couldn’t help but look at Encha in a new light. To think that her husband will spoil her like this, they didn’t know what to think at all.
Vanity could only smile happily as she saw this interaction between the couple. It was good that they were in love, their love reminded her of hers with her husband. They also acted like newlyweds and thinking of her shameless husband, she couldn’t but blush beet red.
The banquet finally came to an end and they returned to their hotel where the two made love with Encha just wearing the golden bracelet which was carved into a dragon.
The dragon looked lifelike but they didn’t care about it at all, what the couple didn’t notice was the bracelet was glowing every time the two were entangling with each other and its luster was changing. That night the two didn’t stop until dawn.
When Vanity called Encha in the morning, she nearly cussed the other but stopped herself and got ready for her date.
The two spent the day together buying clothes, lingerie, jewelry, food and some souvenirs for those that were back home.
After biding each other goodbye the two separated and Encha returned to her husband. With everything done in Clegend, the couple continued with their honeymoon parade.
The couple were all over the place, taking photos wherever they went and smuggled things from every country. They didn’t need to worry about anything as no one will ever know about it.
Whilst on their honeymoon the results finally came out and when she saw her results, she was so happy that she celebrated that night.
Keaton was so embarrassed but happy at the same time. To think that getting into the top fifty out of three students would get her so happy, he didn’t know what to think.
When he was in school, he always got number one, it was just appealing that his wife was the academically challenged. It was good that she was trying to improve, at least she has some self-awareness.
The couple met a lot of friends and business acquaintance of Keaton, this honeymoon taught Encha a lot and made her get some insight in the Chavez empire. She was the pillar of Keaton so she will do everything that she can to support him and never let him fall.
While the couple was having a lot of fun, back in Kingston so many things were happening and by the time the two returns, the new changes will shock the hell out of them but make them happy too.
