CHAPTER 31

Jackson smiled as he watched his daughter and lover screaming while playing on the numerous rides. He had someone take a video of the whole play as well as the whole day. Since he wasn’t in her life for the past eighteen years, he will document her life now and make memories of their time together.
Jackson and Darcie were happy to be dragged everywhere by Enchantia who was like a child happy to receive her candy.
When they were done playing, they went to the food stalls where Enchantia had the two nobles eat some hotdogs with a lot of ketchup. Seeing them struggling made her tear up with laughter.
“It’s very delicious, trust me,” she urged them as she ate her second hotdog.
The couple joined their daughter and also discovered the ecstasy of the delicacy. After tasting the hotdog, Encha dragged them to more food stalls where they sampled a lot of food before leaving the amusement park for the second course.
They went shopping next where the couple showed their prowess. Whatever they thought will look good on her, they bought it for her and didn’t leave anything behind.
She had so many bags with her and couldn’t help but sigh. It was good to have money, she also brought along the card that Keaton gave her bust she never had a chance to use it as she got showered with their money.
They all bought some things for her foster parents before visiting the food court where she went crazy and bought some pizza, burgers and fried chips. They all watched helplessly as she devoured her food as if she didn’t eat anything.
It was a good thing that all the food was being turned into energy to keep her going. After eating her food, the trio went to the cinema where they watched a movie and Encha cried as the female lead died after going through so much to be with the male lead.
Darcie consoled her daughter but she only cried louder. She was very hurt, how could she just die like that without putting a fight?
“It’s just a movie darling,” Jackson said as he looked at his daughter’s, puffed up eyes.
“It just hurts.”
“How about we go and have some ice cream?” Jackson suggested and all the tears dried up quickly as if they were never there.
Darcie looked at Jackson with a sly smile on her face. Jackson was truly a cunning man; he had already grasped his daughter’s weakness and now she was quiet. All problems got solved because of food.
Enchantia was now thinking about food and dragged the two towards the café that was selling ice cream. Jackson bought three cones which they ate as they walked.
Along the way Encha shared a lot of childhood memories that didn’t involve anything hurtful but good. Apart from crazy people she met, her childhood was very good without a single hitch.
For dinner they went to a restaurant where they ate something simple as Encha was a bit full after eating all that food.
“Let’s do this another time. What do you think about next week?” Darcie asked but the response was not what she was expecting.
“I have something going on then. Let’s do it after I am done with exams,” she responded and Darcie felt better after that.
The couple sent their child back to the Heartily’s and Encha gave each parent a kiss on the cheek before she dashed away. The couple looked at each other affectionally, their daughter was truly accepting them.
Jackson who was in the middle of trying to get back together with Darcie, embraced the woman in his arms and kissed the top of her head.
“It’s going to be okay, remember that we still have six days remaining.”
“I will wait.”
“When everything is all done, let’s get married and give Encha some few siblings,” Jackson suggested which made Darcie flush beet red before escaping to the car.
Jackson chuckled as she watched her fleeing. Since she didn’t reject when he said it, it meant that she had forgiven him and she was willing to think about it. He was going to do anything to get his woman back.
He loves his children but there were not the same with the ones that he has or will have with Darcie. He was going to make his children see their sister one day and hope that they will get along well.
His ex-wife had already moved on, seeing another man which is something he didn’t stop. They were already divorced and had been for years. He will never stop her from pursuing her own happiness.
Everyone should just move on and be happy. He didn’t hate her as she was also forced into this relationship by her own family. They were both victims in their family plots and it was time to find that happiness that they deserve.
Jackson followed Darcie to the car and drove her to the villa she was staying with her mother. He then drove to Keaton’s penthouse for some face-to-face talk. It was time to meet his friend and son in law. Only Keaton will help him now.
The following was hectic for every student as they went through one hell of examination week. When the exams came to an end Encha was very happy however she had something on her mind that drove her crazy.
That one-week deadline has arrived and her head was full of confusion, she needed some fresh air. Encha suddenly left the house after leaving a note that she was out having some air and disappeared for the whole day.
This disappearance caused everyone to go crazy with worry especially the Heartily who learnt that their child was not with their friends the whole day, she was not with Keaton either and no one knows where she went to.
When they tried her cell, it wasn’t reachable and the worst part was they couldn’t track it.
