CHAPTER 12

For Keaton who received a weird call from an unknown number and discovered that it was Enchantia, realized that something bad had happened. Enchantia sounded angry this time and from the surrounding noise he could tell that she was somewhere. His baby had been kidnapped and someone was so daring.
Keaton made a number of calls and five minutes later every man of sacrifice was out looking for their matriarch. He just never expected that someone will take advantage of the time he didn’t put people on Enchantia to get her. He had been so lax.
When Aminah and Kasper received the news, they decided not to tell the Heartily’s as this may cause an unwanted result.
Back in the warehouse, Nadia was sneering at Enchantia whom she had just slapped for the ninth time.
“I am done with her, rape her and kill her!” the final order arrived and the men who had been eyeing the piece of meat were quick to rush to her.
However, what happened next was very confusing. All Nadia and Luke could hear were continuous screams. They both watched as the warehouse was set on fire, where the fire came from no one knew. When they wanted to run away, they realized that the doors were locked by some invisible power and all of them were stuck in the blazing flame.
When Nadia looked at Enchantia who was busy stretching her muscles as the muscles of men she had set on Enchantia groan in pain as they were burning couldn’t help but feel fear.
She looked at Luke who had resigned to his fate. As long as he dies with her then his dream will be fulfilled. How can Nadia not know what this man was thinking? She couldn’t let this happen so she fell on her knees and began to beg for mercy.
“Please stop it, I will not bother you again. I will stay away from you, just let us go!” Nadia didn’t care about her pride at all, all she wanted was to leave this place alive and get revenge on the damn little witch in the future.
Weren’t witches afraid of holy water, vampires or some werewolves? She will find anything and anyone to get rid of this girl but she never expected that Enchantia who was now walking through the sea of fire as if she was walking on a normal path and didn’t get burnt at all didn’t believe her.
“I know people like you, you will never give up until you achieve what you set yourself to do. This world should be rid of scums like you. I don’t care that you failed to do what you set to do but if I was not strong enough to protect myself you would have killed me after having those men violate me till I wish that I was dead. I will forgive you but I will make you live your life in so much agony that you will wish that you were dead,” Enchantia spoke mercilessly and sent a seed of fire in Nadia’s body.
“That fire will eat you slowly till you get burnt to ashes. You only have three days to say goodbye to everything that you love and I am very sorry that you will not be present when I wed Keaton and let the whole world that he is mine but your family will probably suffer as I am not a saint and a forgiving person. You should be grateful that I am killing you like this, the first person I killed died horribly.”
Luke was astonished by what he was seeing. He could sense the deadly aura surrounding the girl, she was someone who had killed and he knew that she wasn’t joking at all. This time they really underestimated the enemy.
By the time Keaton and his men found the warehouse, smoke could be seen coming out of it and he knew that she did it once more. When the doors were smashed in, he found Enchantia sitting on a steel bar while a face he had not seen in a while was busy groaning in pain while clutching her stomach.
Keaton rushed to his girl and embraced her in his arms.
“I need to be bribed to calm down, having her suffer in the few days before she leaves will be a huge compensation,” she didn’t wait for him to speak but speak her mind.
Seeing that she was okay and even thinking of how to even worsen her revenge made him relived.
“Send the two to the Wallace family and kindly explain to them how charming their family member is!” everyone could tell the true meaning of the words that their master had spoken.
How could Nadia not know? She began to cry and create a fuss but Keaton ignored her.
“I never loved you or saw you as anything else aside from being a girl that I knew when I grow up. It will be quite unfair for you to die before I give my woman an explanation!”
Keaton’s words were very painful to hear but Nadia couldn’t accept it still.
“What does she have that I don’t? just because she is some witch and I am not; you chose her over me?” Nadia exploded which attracted Enchantia’s attention.
She was also curious to how Keaton will respond to this, she wanted to know the truth.
Keaton wanted to snap Nadia into two but he decided to answer this deadly question first before doing that. He looked at Enchantia instead of Nadia and answered, “your abilities are deadly but they attracted me. However, that is not the reason why I fell for you. I love you because it is you. Even if she has the same abilities as you, I will never look at her or glance at her.”
Enchantia who had been angry at Keaton for attracting to many flies began to tear up. This was the first time he was confessing to her; he simply threw everything at her but never said those magic words to her.
She was so happy that she decided to be merciful towards Nadia.
“I love you too daddy,” Enchantia threw herself at Keaton who hugged her and planted kisses on her face.
“I should thank you for making him confess, I will not kill you but let you kill yourself when the time comes,” she said as she retrieved her seed she planted in Nadia’s body.
Seeing the Keaton didn’t like it at all, he wanted Nadia to die but since the girl has spoken then he will let her go but her family will punish her for her idiotic actions.
“Send Miss Wallace home!”
The warehouse got cleared within minutes and Keaton took Enchantia back to his penthouse. In order not to worry her parents she simply gave a white lie and they let her go. It’s not like they didn’t know where their daughter was. She was going to leave for the weekend so they let her go out and have some fun.
“Our baby is all grown up,” Nevaeh sighed as she lay in her husband’s arms.
“Indeed, I just want to see her happy and let her leave behind the shadow that was left in her heart.”
The couple chatted for a while before they finally went to bed.
