CHAPTER 34

If Encha had known that these two families will cause such a scene, then she would have delayed this for longer.
After giving her response to her biological parents something worrisome happened. The first thing that happened was that in just three days she was escorted to the Saunders family where she met with her paternal family, Jackson’s family.
Most of their faces weren’t very welcoming but she didn’t give a damn about anyone. She simply came here for the sake of her biological father and foster parents.
On this day she acknowledged the ancestors and her name was added to the family tree.
“Come here child,” her paternal grandmother spoke, her voice filled with emotions.
She could sense how relieved she was to see her, it looked like this family suffered a lot during the time Jackson was looking for Darcie.
Encha didn’t want to cause any trouble so she went to meet this grandmother who hugged her while tears streamed down her cheeks. It was good that her grandmother felt happy to see her, it will be bad if the elders had enmity with her when they didn’t even know each other well.
Encha got along well with most of the Saunders and she also met this half siblings of her. They were not too bad so she liked them immediately, why should she hate the kids? It’s not like they did anything to her.
Seeing the children all happy together and playing as if they had known each other for years made everyone feel relieved.
Amanda, Jackson’s ex-wife smiled at this scene, she always thought that she will hate Darcie and her child if they ever appear but seeing this child made all that envy and hatred disappear. She was just cute and an angel that didn’t put airs around but regarded her children in such high light.
“This is good,” the Saunders matriarch said as she nodded her head with satisfaction and Amanda smiled back at her.
This was also seen by Nevaeh and her husband, Jackson and Keaton were also smiles as they saw this.
“I still can’t believe that you are marrying child!” Jackson sighed with sadness as he looked at his friend.
“Hahahaha, you need to accept this reality. Its good though since we all know each other. I will never harm her and with me by her side, her safety is guaranteed.”
“I hope so, I don’t want her to keep on disappearing like she did that time.”
“Do you think that if she doesn’t want to be found, anyone can track her?”
“Is it that hard?”
“You have no idea,” Keaton shook his head as he remembered how she would disappear when he was following her. If he had known that she could camouflage then he would have not wasted his time stalking her in that manner.
This ceremony was very successful and everyone got along together well. After this day the family of three slept in the Saunders home before leaving for Sparrow city the following day.
When they reached Sparrow, they were grandly welcomed by an entourage of cars which drove to the Leigh mansion. Encha was taken by the extravagance of the family but nodded with satisfaction, it felt good to know that your families are rich.
Aya dragged her granddaughter everywhere and introduced her to everyone. She got so tired of walking that when she finally sat down, she was relieved. That night they all had a scrumptious dinner and Encha shocked them once more. To those who were used to this familiar action, just pretended as if they were not there.
Seeing how their niece was fond of eating like some gluttony, the uncles and grand elders were happy. They could spoil her in this way and buy her many delicacies to make up for the lost years.
Encha didn’t know what everyone was thinking but was just happy to eat as many delicious foods as she can. Keaton kept on piling food on her plate, he knew what she liked and hated and everyone took note of that so that next time they will feed this little ancestor.
That night Encha was given a room that was decorated princess style, the room was too much for her but it made her warm when she was in it. She slept beautifully as she didn’t mind where she was exactly as long as she can sense her beloved ones around.
The next day everyone was busy preparing for the ceremony as this was the day that Encha was acknowledging the Leigh’s ancestors. The day was a great hustle and after going through tedious rituals the whole ceremony finally came to an end which made the tired Encha to feel great relief.
She didn’t want to go through some shit like this ever again. Nevaeh could only coax her child and after giving her some chocolate beans to eat the girl forgot about everything which made everyone to chuckle.
That day everyone gathered together as one family and enjoyed a meal together. The next day the three families met together; the Leighs, the Saunders and the Heartily’s since they all were Enchantia’s family.
With the three family’s elders present everyone was here to listen to the decision that Encha had made that night. They have all came to an agreement that they will accept it no matter what it is.
“I was raised by my foster parents for over a decade and I have this reluctance to cut off our familial ties simply because I have acknowledged both my paternal and maternal ancestry which is why I am going to accept both parents. I will have two mothers and two fathers, I will keep on the last name of the Heartily’s as I can’t have four last names in just a span of three names, I will be married in less than a month from now.”
Enchantia spoke loudly and firmly so that everyone may hear this. Of course, the parents involved were well aware of this decision earlier which was better than losing their child.
As long as they can be by her side then it didn’t matter what title they have. The elders didn’t like this but what can they do? They never did anything to raise this child and since she had spoken then they all agreed.
