CHAPTER 35

“We will accept your decision but let us host an acknowledgement banquet, the world deserves to know,” one of the elders suggested.
Encha looked at her parents and then Keaton who simply smiled at her. Encha knew that everything will be decided by her on this day and since it didn’t harm her in any way she agreed to this suggestion.
In the end two banquets were going to be held, one in Sparrow and the other in Falcon. Encha who thought that everything was done couldn’t believe that she had to suffer once more by attending these banquets.
But when she remembered what she had been learning recently she could only grit her teeth and made sure that everything will be perfect when the days arrived.
The invitations were sent out in less than seven days the first banquet was held and Encha was shown around, introduced to everyone that she got tired of smiling. It was a good thing that she was still a minor so she didn’t need to take any alcohol. They all toasted to her while she drank juice which made it so funny but they all had to accept the reality.
On this day Encha made a number of friends and her contact list also expanded. She conversed with the youths of her family as well as the other guests. There were those who spoke ill of her and she dealt with them without showing mercy.
The girls who spoke nonsense in the restroom she made their expensive dresses to tear up making them so embarrassed they left the banquet. As for the young men who looked at her lustfully, she just made their crotches suffer some excruciating pain they will never forget for two days.
They will never lust for a woman who belongs to another in their entire lives again. Keaton and the others who knew Encha could only shake their heads and didn’t interfere.
“Aren’t you spoiling her a lot by letting her being this mischievous?” Jackson was still worried about his daughter’s behavior but Keaton’s response made him enlightened.
“She will be my Chavez future matriarch, if she is merciful do you think that the world will show mercy to her? Jackson, you need to remember that the world we live in is a jungle and if she had been merciful from the beginning then there will be no reunion today. She is even being merciful towards to them right now.”
He had truly missed out a lot on his child and now he couldn’t even reprimand her. It made his heart ache to know that faced these kinds of situations before and had to stand up for herself with no one by her side.
“I will not let anything happen to them again!” Jackson swore and Keaton patted his friend on his shoulder.
The banquet came to an end and it was successful. after living in Sparrow for two more days they returned to Falcon where another banquet had to be hold. During the time that the banquet was being prepared, Encha lived between the Heartily’s and the Saunder’s.
In that period of time Encha improved her relationship with her half siblings, she would help the two with their homework, that is if she knew about it. The things that she didn’t know she tried her best to research.
Her studies were above average but she wasn’t a genius. She taught the kids to relax and play, reading all day was just not good. The elders let her be as long as they were happy. And since their relationship wasn’t toxic, even Amanda let them be.
It was not a secret that Encha didn’t want anything from the families so she wasn’t a threat to anyone but that didn’t mean that there was no one who was envious of her.
She was someone marrying the top golden bachelor and joining the first family of the city. How can they not be frustrated? Thanks to this, some people began to scheme against her so that she may become a laughing stock at the banquet.
Encha chuckled as she looked at dress that would fall after wearing it for thirty minutes and to make things interesting, the dress didn’t need a bra so if it falls then it meant that she will be standing there stark naked. She will shame herself so bad and her wedding was in just three weeks. Who could be this cunning?
Encha gave her man a call and ten minutes another gown appeared in her bedroom. Encha changed her gown and as for those distant cousins who had plotted against her with some outside forces froze as they saw Encha wearing a different gown that the one prepared for her already.
Encha flashed a creepy smile at those culprits and made her way to the matriarch who made her to sit by her side. Just like that the second and final acknowledgment banquet began.
Everyone enjoyed themselves but some were feeling cranky as they were afraid that they had been discovered. Upon seeing that Encha had changed into another gown it didn’t take seconds before everyone figured out what was happening.
Darcie was so angry that she complained to Jackson who investigated the whole thing. As a result, as soon as everyone dispersed the culprits were caught and were punished by the family rules.
They were spanked on their butts which made Encha so happy that one could see stars in her eyes. How can she not be happy seeing someone else suffering from this kind of punishment? When she thought of how she got her butt spanked that time she shivered so bad that Keaton chuckled at her. How can he not know the plot in her head?
The two cousins had their cards frozen and were told to reflect in the ancestral hall for three days. After having them punished she didn’t care about anything at all. As for the outside force Keaton dealt with her, she was just a small fry who thought that she was some phoenix.
How can he fall for such a vixen? They must be dreaming; it was great that his wedding was around the corner and he will let the whole world know that he was taken and not available.
With the two banquets and everyone knowing that Encha belonged to those powerful families they couldn’t help but envy and be jealous of her. As for Enchantia she busied herself with school and wedding arrangements.
Since she gained some weight during these short months her wedding gown had to be re-adjusted.
While waiting for the wedding day to arrive, Encha went to dates with her biological parents, foster parents and Keaton. She also spent some time with her half siblings since they have gotten pretty close. life was good for everyone and no problem arise, just like that the wedding day finally arrived.
