Chapter 15.
Estella’s POV.

The past few days have been a blur, we’ve been so busy with planning the Luna ceremony I haven’t had much time to do anything else, Collin found out a few other packs have also had random rogue attacks. So after my Luna ceremony we are holding a meeting to discuss a plan with the other Alpha’s to keep the packs safe.

Collin and I also have a trip to Clove County the weekend after the ceremony to meet my grandparents and see if we can find anything else out about my mother. I’m honestly so excited to meet them but scared, I’ve never had anyone related to me. Hopefully they like me, I haven’t used my magic in a while so hopefully they can help me try and control it.

My magic only seems to happen when I’m scared or if I’m in danger. I’d like to know more about developing my powers if it can be useful to help the pack, I want to learn everything I can about the faries. For now all I need to think about right now is that by midnight tonight, I will be Luna. I roll around in bed as Collin comes back in startling me.

“Are you ready for tonight little mate?” He says coming to kiss me sweetly.
“Yes.” I nod back at him smiling as he sits down beside me. He runs his hand through my hair making me relax to his touch, I look up at him staring in to his big green eyes as I get butterflies again and my heart pounds.
“I love you.” I say softly making his face lights up kissing me again.

We both get up out of bed and grab some clothes to get in to the shower. After a quick make out session and wash up we get out, getting ready for our day. I meet Steele in the grand hall as she’s barking orders with a clip board in her hand, I smile when I see her.

“There you are!” She shouts. “I’ve been looking for you all morning, come on there’s lots to do, the other packs start showing up at 3 and you need to join them by 4pm and it’s already noon!” She say frantically pushing me along.
“God STEELE!” I say giggling to myself.
“Chill everything we be great.” I say with a smile, she smiles back at me as she continues ordering people around.
“Ok Luna let’s go get you ready.” She finishes as I walk with her.

I smile and she grabs my hand taking off in to the back room, Steele had both our dresses put back here after we bought them so they were safe. She chose a dark blue long gown that looks gorgeous on her, I put on my long dark red dress and look at myself in the stand up mirror. The dress flatters my body so nicely, I twirl the sides admiring it.

I turn to Steele as she’s pulling stuff out of the makeup bag, she turns around holding a red lipstick, eye liner, and mascara.
“Makeup time!” She says jumping up and down. She rush’s over to me making me sit down as she pulls my chin up to her, she does thin little wings above my eye lid and adds a little bit of mascara. Using a red blush on my nose and cheeks which compliments my dress perfectly.

“Are you ready?” She asks me excitedly, her face lit up.
“Mhm.” I nod smiling as I feel my stomach doing flips, by this time Collin has welcomed the other packs in to the great hall and it’s time for me to enter introducing myself as the packs new Luna.

Collin grabs my arm linking it with his, he’s wearing a gorgeous black suit with a dark red tie matching my dress perfectly.
"Are you nervous?" He asks patting my hand as I nod slightly and swallow hard.
"You’ll do great." He says confidently and I feel my heart sit in my throat.
"It will be over before you know it." He finishes as we begin to walk and I take a deep breath with

"INTRODUCING THE NEW LUNA OF THE SHINNING MOON PACK!" Collin bellows using this firm loud Alpha voice that echos through the room. Within seconds the room erupts with cheers and howls from wolves of all packs.
"Thank you everyone so much for coming to celebrate my beautiful mate." He says smiling over at me as everyone calms down.

"Due to the rogue attacks we are unable to go for our midnight run after the ceremony which is a shame, but it isn’t safe until we have a better idea of what they want." He states as the other Alpha’s nod in agreement.
"Now to get in to it." He says looking over to me.

"Do you Estella Moone promise to lead gracefully, rule kindly and protect the pack with your life for as long as you are Luna?" He asks loudly.
"I Estella Moone promise to be the best Luna I can be. I will lead with grace, I will rule with kindness, and I will protect my pack with everything I am." I say looking in to his big green eyes feeling a warm wash of power and energy come over me, he kisses me deeply as the packs erupt in to cheers again, you can hear the howls of the wolves late in to the night.

After I vowed to the pack and we finish all the formalities, Collin took me around to meet some of the Alpha’s from surrounding packs.
"Estella, this is Alpha Orlando." Collin says as I offer him a sweet smile.
"It’s nice to meet you." I say kindly bowing my head to him.
"You as well dear." He says in a calm monotone voice.
"Alpha Orlando and my father were great friends." Collin says as I see a shimmer in his eye speaking of his father.

"He is the Alpha of the white water pack." He says looking between us.
"Did you say your last name is Moone?" He whispers to me.
"Yes." I answer back calmly as his question throws me off.
"So you’re a fairy?" He asks as both Collin and I look at each other then back at him my eyes going wide.

"What do you know about them?" I ask curiously.
"My parents left me when I was younger and the town hid my heritage rom me, I’m only now just learning about my family history." I say softly as I feel a sharp pain in my chest thinking about how much I’ve missed with them as he looks back at me with sadness.

"All I really know is they are very powerful but they mostly stay hidden, they use the magic of nature so their powers are pure, fairies are the light of good magic. do you have the same powers?" He asks as I begin to smell smoke, I notice Collin looking around quickly before spotting the flames rolling in from the back room.
"FIRE!" Collin shouts loudly his voice rumbling the room.
"EVERYONE OUT!" He yells as everyone barrels towards the front door slamming in to one another as it won’t budge.
