Chapter 39.

Chapter 39.
Estella’s POV.

I wake up to Collin rolling over with his large heavy arms draped over me, I peel the sleep from my eyes as I snuggle in to him deeper. I got to go flying again last night with Amelia, which probably wasn’t a great idea now that I think about it. I feel a sharp pain shoot through my back when I try to move.

I feel Collin’s hot breath on me, it gently moves the little hairs on the back of my neck tickling me. My body starts to warm and I feel my magic begin to restore, how can I be in so much pain and still have magic oozing from me? I hear the babies cry through the monitor as I go to get up and hear Amelia softly coo to the girls calming them, how the hell is she already awake?

I walk in to the nursery and she’s doing up both little sleepers, I hand her a bottle while I pick up River and she takes Olivia.
“Do you have any plans today?” She asks as I look down at my soft little baby in awe.
“I need to go check the cooks and see how they’re doing with breakfast, once everyone’s out in the garden I will be walking through the crowd looking for our sisters.” I say smiling as she pulls Olivia up to burp.

“Do you want to come with me? We can leave the babies with mom and I’ll ask the nanny to come up?” I ask her as her head snaps up to me and she nods excitedly.
“I really hope we can find them.” She says softly while I take River over to the play mats.

After playing with the babies and getting them changed we put them back down for a nap and we head off to the kitchen. Walking in a delicious smell fills the air making my mouth water, I instruct the cooks and servers to bring everything outside to the garden patio as I head to the other pack house to collect our new comers.

By the time I get there everyone is already up roaming around inside and outside the pack house, I let everyone know breakfast will be on the patio shortly as most of the wolves take off barreling passed me and out the door heading towards the wonderfully smelling food.

Everyone sits down at the pop up tables to eat as I begin wondering around with Amelia looking for any little girls who look similar to us, our mother never told us how old they are so we don’t have a lot to go on. My eyes land on a small child maybe 6 sitting at the end of one of the long tables with an older woman, the child’s bright green eyes catch my attention as my heart stops and I stare right at her.

Walking up to the little girl, the mother turns to me with a huge smile.
“Oh hello Luna, my name is Matilda. My mate and I have an appointment with the Alpha later today.” She says clearly as my eyes never leave the child.
“Is this your daughter?” I ask softly as she nods putting her hand on the small girls back.
“Yes we adopted her just after her birth.” She says making my heart flutter.
“You adopted her?” I say smiling as the woman nods and the little girl looks up to me, her eyes sparkle the same way mine and Amelia’s do.

“Could you come with me please.” I ask as she looks at me with confusion but nods standing to follow. I bring Matilda and the small child in to see Doctor Marlowe, we sit in the waiting room as I speak with the doctor.
“What are we doing here Luna?” Her soft voice asks me as I hear the fear behind it.

“I think you may have adopted my little sister.” I say while her arms tighten around the little girl.
“But she’s mine.” She states coldly and I laugh.
“You and your mate will move in to the castle with the Alpha, myself and my family.” I say firmly.
“I won’t take her from you but she will be raised with our family seeing as she is a fairy and needs to be taught how to use her magic.” I state as her eyes hit the floor and I know she’s uncomfortable with the information I’ve given her.

Doctor Marlowe comes in a few minutes later smiling brightly.
“Well Luna you’re right, you found another one of your sisters.” She says and I feel Matildas aura drop with sadness. I allow her to go back to her room and get their things together and she will meet me at the castle later this afternoon. In the meantime I will keep looking for the other 2.

Meeting Amelia back in the garden she comes running over to me with an older woman once she spots me. They have a small dark haired girl just behind them maybe 8 years old and I smile brightly, Amelia found another one of our sisters.

“Ella! You need to talk with this woman.” She says frantically as my face turns in confusion and I look over to her.
“She was Rick’s servant. She was the one that dealt with our mother while she was held captive.” She says as realization hits.

“Where’s the other child?” I ask turning to the little old woman.
“Dead.” Her voice stabs through my chest like razor blades and I feel my heart shatter in to a thousand pieces.
“What, how?” I ask as I feel my anger rise and my magic surface.

“I placed the one girl in a home with Matilda and told Rick she died during child birth, your mother had twins one of which was still born and Rick had no idea, so I lied to protect your sister that survived child birth.” She says softly putting her head down as tears threaten to spill.
“The other baby was born healthy, she was fine, a good weight and feeding well. I came in to the nursery one night and she was cold and blue, Rick accused me and said I must have done something but I promise Luna I never hurt her.” She says crying abruptly as Amelia comforts her and my heart sits in my throat.

At least I found 2 of them, the small girl was raised by the old woman, she will be moving in to the castle to work as a server and the little girl who told me her name is Bella will be moving in as well. My heart hurts for the siblings that were killed in that awful rogue village, if Rick wasn’t already dead I’d rip him limb from limb for what he’s done to my family.

Collin spends the afternoon talking to each family to make building plans for new houses, there was more family’s then we had expected. He also assigned jobs and placements for each wolf to help contribute to the pack in some way, after a long day on my feet all I want to do is find my bed.

“There you are.” I hear Collin say from behind me as I get changed and collapse on to our bed.
“Your sisters are all moved in down the hall, I don’t think Matilda is to impressed with the set up. She doesn’t seem to want to share her child at all.” He says as my anger rises again and I feel my magic rise.
“Well she won’t have a choice will she.” I say coldly as I hear him chuckle.

“We will be ok. This is all a mess right now but we will be ok.” I say almost to myself as I feel him let out a deep breath against me, his chest rising and falling as I concentrate on the pattern of his movements before slipping away in to a dark un interrupted slumber.
