This is the craziest thing I have ever done, which is saying a lot considering all the things Sav and I have done together. Daveed takes a sip of his drink and says, "Sure. What movie do you have in mind?"
"Let's go look for one." I suggest.
The three of us head to the living room and I turn the TV on. "We have a Firestick, so we can watch literally any movie." Sav said.
"Really? Have you seen *Bad Boys For Life* with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence? I've been dying to watch it and I never got around to it." Said Daveed.
"We have watched it, but it's so good we will watch it again. We're notorious for watching movies more than once." I responded.
"Yeah, we just watched *Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2* for the thousandth time. Some movies just never get old, especially Marvel movies." Sav said. She's a total Marvel nerd. She even reads the comics.
Sav and I pull out the couch and grab blankets and pillows to make it comfortable. Daveed is watching us with a confused look on his face.
"Why do you look confused?" Sav asked.
"Why are you two going through all this trouble? We could just sit on the couch normally." He said with a short laugh.
"That would be so uncomfortable. This is what we do every time we watch a movie. Trust me, it's worth it." She responded. I find the movie while Sav gets the futon ready. I go into the kitchen to grab mine and Sav's favorite bottle of wine and go back into the living room. We don't even bother with glasses when we sip on it together.
"Do you like Lamborghini Rosè?" I ask Daveed.
"I've never had it. Let me try it." I hand him the open bottle and he takes a sip. He nods his head in approval and says, "This is the best wine I've tasted."
"We think so too. Let's get comfy and watch the movie." I respond.
Sav and I crawl onto the futon and she pats the space between us, "The guest of honor gets the best seat in the house."
Daveed gets in the middle and leans back with his hands behind his head as Sav presses play. I gave her a knowing look and we both rest our heads on each of Daveed's shoulders and hitch one of our legs up over him. Daveed moves his hands from behind his head to hold us, resting his hands on our hips. The beating of his heart is a perfect beat, strong and calm at the same time.
