73-Postpone

**Zuri's POV**

Waking up to Sav in this condition is killing me. We have no idea if Ethan has anger towards Sav because he was still sentenced to four years in prison. We don't know what he was going through in that place or the anger he has built up. Sav and I have our wedding coming up the week after Thanksgiving, so this is extra stress on Sav's shoulders before the big day. It's going to be even bigger than the first wedding because dozens of local supporters that we have gained since we started that account will be attending. Scarlett will be there along with many other lawyers and public figures as well, so that gives us even more pressure.
"I'm postponing the wedding. We can arrange to have it sometime after Ethan is caught and maybe after the twins are born." I'm not going to let Sav talk me out of this. She's going through way too much right now and it would be selfish to not consider that.
"Scarlett isn't going to be happy about that. She said this all has to be done with specific timing." Sav responded.
"This isn't Scarlett's life. Winning our case will make her go down in history, but it's our choice if that's even what we want. It doesn't have to be right now at least." Daveed added.
"Exactly. Our family's safety and health is the most important thing right now. People can say what they want in the meantime." She looks defeated.
"Okay. We'll put the wedding on hold." Sav agreed. I think this is the best thing for our family right now. Jilly needs to sleep in our room until Ethan is back in prison. She won't be out of my sight for even a second."
"I'll put her bassinet beside our bed tonight. Devence is coming over in about an hour to get more cameras around the inside and outside of our house." Devence put some cameras up for us before Ethan's trial just in case any of his family members were crazy like Rhett.


We invited Scarlett over for dinner tonight so we could let her know the wedding is put on hold. She reacted the way we expected and left without even eating. Sav isn't the type of person who likes letting people down, so I know Scarlett's reaction is making her stress out. Devence finally finished with the cameras, so at least we can all have peace of mind. We put a camera in every room of our house, and there isn't a single blind spot on our property. From our phones, we can get access to every camera so even if we aren't home, we will be able to keep an eye on it.
"I just sent an email to my students to let them know class is canceled tomorrow. We will take a mental health day tomorrow. No going online, no responding to emails or fan mail. No schoolwork, dishes, laundry, or anything. We will watch movies, order Chinese food, eat banana splits, and relax." Daveed declared.
"That sounds nice, but I need to do dishes and laundry tomorrow. If I don't, they will get piled up and create more work for me the next day." Sav hates when things get piled up, and I can understand why. Every once in a while, I'll do the dishes now when she's busy feeding Jilly, but she hates when I get to it before she does.
"Zuri and I will help you do them then. Cleaning together will be fun," He responded.
"Okay. I will allow it only for one day. I think we all need to take a day off," She surprisingly agreed. "You and Zuri can go get your shower out of the way. Jilly-Bean and I will be in our room playing until you two get finished."
We wait until Sav and Jilly are settled on our bed before Daveed and I get into the shower. We know she's terrified right now, but she's trying to put on a front. I would be lying if I said I wasn't afraid, but she has actual trauma.
"Do you think she's going to start getting nightmares again?" I asked. Sav hasn't had a nightmare since Jilly was born. The progress she made was amazing, but I'm afraid Sav will go back to bad dreams and panicking.
"More than likely, unfortunately. Especially since she woke up from her nap to Jilly being gone from her swing; even though it's something I do every day, I feel horrible for it." There was no way for him to know this was going to happen. I'm just hoping we all stay safe and nothing bad comes of this.
"Sometimes things just happen, and there's nothing we could have done to prevent it. Don't beat yourself up over it, okay? Sav is strong; she'll be alright." We finish our showers and get back into the room. I swear I fall deeper in love with Sav every time I see her playing with our baby. Women always talk about how sexy it is to see a man taking good care of his children, but I feel the same way about Sav when I see her smiling down at our daughter. She still gives me butterflies.
"You are so beautiful, Sav." I hope I glow like she does after I have our boys.
"Aww, baby. You're so beautiful. Let me hold you," Daveed takes Jilly and rocks her in his chair that sits in the corner of the room. Sav wraps her arm around me and rubs on my baby bump. The boys go crazy under her touch like they always do. It's as if they know who is touching my belly because they never move for Daveed. There was one time when he tried "tricking" them by having Sav touch first. Once they started to move, he put his hands where Sav's were. It was hilarious when they instantly stopped moving when his hands touched me. The stern talk he had with them afterward was even more hilarious.
"This feels so nice. I love when you hold me, even if the boys start kicking the crap out of me," Sometimes these kicks aren't fun, It's painful.
"Turn over and face me. I want some kisses," Sav has been very horny recently, but she hasn't been released by her doctor yet for sex. She only has two more days until her appointment.
"Jilly and I forgot something downstairs," Daveed said as he walked out of the room. We laugh because we know he didn't forget anything.
I turn over to face her. Without hesitation, her lips passionately meet mine, and I get lost in her affection. I return the energy as we explore each other. She kisses down my neck and rubs on me through my soaking panties. Between my pregnancy hormones and Sav being sexually frustrated, we lost control over ourselves. It wasn't long before Sav's head was between my thighs, and I was moaning her name.
