“I am not mentally prepared and emotionally prepared for it! Turn back and give me a day more ”

“A day more? You are breaching this contract, you know and there are consequences if you can not give birth to a male child within nine months ”
He hung the headphone on his neck and held her chin a little higher.

“The fusion has been done and tested positive for growth. All it needs to attach to the womb. ”

“But.....okay ” Alexa gave up at last and let her be driven to the hospital.

In the hospital.

“If you have decided then the surgery will start ” The doctor reassured her once more and pushed her into the theater.

~An hour later ~
“How is she?”
He asked as he got up from the chair when he saw the theater door open and Alexa pushed on a stretcher.

“She is okay. Her body perfectly matches the embryo. As for the baby's growth, I will write some do's and don'ts for her to follow. ” The doctor sat down on the chair and tore out a paper sheet from the cabinet.

“These are the fruits, veggies, and food she should be taking during this time. She would wake up in about a minute or two. ” He said and walked out of the room leaving the two of them alone.

“Ray, is it over?” Alexa mumbled with a raspy voice.

“Yes, it is. Let us go ” He helped her up and carried her into the car.

Meanwhile, In Ray's Villa.

The Car honked and the iron red gate opened up and he drove in.

“Miss Parker ” Gabriel helped her out of the car and into the house.
Her eyes jumped in shock. She saw the gigantic villa adorned with trees and flowers.
The whole landmass of the house is about 25 ft tall and wide with gardens and statues.
The door was opened by an old butler with glasses on as he bowed his head.

“Mr.Hudson”

“Mrs.Hudson”
He bowed his head and stretched his hands out to direct them. Alexa smiled while as usual, Ray strode into the house.

“This way, Mrs.Hudston” He held her hands and took her into the mansion.
As expected the mansion was not less than what she predicted. He was not a commoner or an average salary earner so his house should be godly.
Alexa scanned the house with her astonished eyes. Every object was sparkling clean with no dust spot or stain.
The cushion was carefully placed and coated with black curves and silver linings.
A huge Chandelier hung on the ceiling and well-furnished tools and tables were well polished.

“Welcome home, Mr.Hudson”

“Mr. Hudston, welcome.”
The servants and house helpers in the house all lined up in a line of two and greeted Ray with their heads bent down.

“ Alexa, this is your servant. She will take care of your activities from now on ”
He pointed at a woman who is in her late fifties with black and white maid clothing.

“Personal Servant?” Her mind ringed fast as she shook her head in denial.
How could she let a woman old enough to be her mother serve her besides, she was so used to doing her laundry and cooking that she needed no one to help her.

“Madam! Am I not to your liking?!” She knelt on the floor instantly and pleaded.
Alexa gaped at the woman who was on the floor and Naomi Quickly to her.
She put her hands out for her to get up.

“No! I mean you are perfect. ” Alexa helped the old lady up and gleamed at her.
In her head, she wondered why this woman would be wilHudstonto serve someone as young as him and also fear him too.

“Let us go upstairs ” The woman smiled back at her and led her upstairs to the big bedroom.
She unlocked the door, and Alexa stepped into the room.

“Is this my bedroom?” The woman bowed and left the room open. Ray walked into the room and closed the door.

“This is our bedroom. Do not be afraid, I would not be at home always so you can have your privacy. Follow me ”
They walked to a smaller room with hundreds of millions of wears.

“This is where I keep my clothes and that is where you will keep yours ” He pointed his fingers at an empty large wardrobe well furnished with hangers of high quality.

“There are two toilets, the pink for you and the black for me, Any questions?”

“No, not really. Wait.....do not tell me we have to sleep on the same bed?!” Alexa shivered.
She never shared a bed with a stranger and most of all, he was from the opposite sex.

“According to the contract, I will not touch you. ” He moved closer and gripped her tiny slim waist around his arms.
He bent his head to her ear and whispered.

“Unless you are the one initiating the contact, I would not mind ” He smirked seductively and pulled away quickly. He adjusted his tie and coughed.

“Get yourself familiar with the whole house, I will be back in the night, and do not forget, you are obliged to keep the baby safe. ”
He referred to the child in her stomach. He strode out of the room casually and left the frozen Alexa.

“That is close!” She finally breathed out her held breath. She looked around the bedroom and bounced on the bed.

“What a life!” She exclaimed and jumped on the bed while laughing. “How I wish you would not limit me to the activities I like the most ”
She rubbed her stomach and spoke to the unborn child. The door clicked open as the woman walked in with trays of food and a glass of water.

“The boss told me you have not had anything for lunch, so I made you a healthy lunch ”
She placed the food on the wheel table and rolled it over to her side.

“If you do not have anything to tell me, I will excuse myself ”
She turned back to leave when Alexa said.

“I bet you have not had your lunch? Join me ” Alexa invited.
Alexa is never used to eating alone without being accompanied. There is more digestion and fun when eating with others.

“How can I join you for lunch, Mrs. Hudston? It would be so disrespectful ” She said with her head bent low.
Alexa hit the cutlery on the plate and she raised her head.

“First of all, it is not disrespectful! It is more fun! And second of all, stop being so formal with me, I hate it when I am addressed like a stranger! Call me Alexa or meimei!”
Alexa said in an irritated tone.

“I am sorry, I didn't mean to lash out at you. It is just that, never mind. Call me Alexa ”

“Yes, Alexa. And thanks for the invite ” She said friendly.
She has served the young master of the Hudson for over twenty years when she was a young maiden and up to now, she never witnessed anyone treat her as nice as Alexa did.

“What are you standing here for, the food will get cold soon ”
She laughed and dragged her to eat. They laughed and chatted all their time away.

In the night.
“Why is she sleeping on the couch?” Ray questioned the old woman and she sighed.

“Boss, I tried to persuade her to sleep in the bedroom but she refused. She said it made no difference as long as she is comfortable in her sleep ”
He peeked at the slumbering Alexa and smirked.

“You can leave, I will take her in ” He removed his suit and squatted below the napping Alexa.

“Such a troublesome lady ” He lifted her arm and put it over his head and carried her.
He laid her on the bed and covered her with the quilt.

“Mummy...please save her ” She encircled her hands over his neck and pulled him close to her lips.

“Mum.....Mum ” Her palms became all sweaty and her temperature doubled.

“You are all hot! Alexa woke up ” He shook her body but she just kept murmuring those words repeatedly.

“Miss Ran!” He yelled her name as the old woman came running to the room.

“Yes boss ” She halted to retrieve her breath.

“Get cold water and ice. She is having a fever!” Ray commanded as she instantly rushed to get the ice and placed it over Man's head.

“Mom.......Mom....please!”

“Don't worry, I am here ” He caressed her hair and pecked her cheeks.

Next Day, In The hotel.
Yunxi's eyes slowly opened and looked at the man holding her waist.

“Mr. Shaung ” She tapped his shoulders and he yawned.

“Is it morning already? Let us snuggle for some time” His hands reached for her blouse when she held his hands.

“What of the words you promised?”

“This morning? Why are you this whiny?” He flared up “Just around, okay?”

“Another round?! You must be joking!” She sneered and got up from the bed.

“Do not be offended. I am just playing. Let me dial a number ” He took the phone and dialed a number.

“Sir?”

“I want a spot in the beauty competition for my beautiful lady ”

“I will try my best to do so. ” He cut the call and Yunxi's phone rang.

“Excuse me ” She went to a corner and picked up the call.

“Check the list once more, you are in!” Her manager clamored. “Whatever you did worked! Come to the studio by noon”

“Really! I will !” She scrolled through the application list and smiled.
She was glad, she hooked up with a big shark and not a fraudster.
She arranged herself and walked out of the hotel after she collected his number and to her house.
Victory is finally hers and no one would take it from her, not anymore!

In The Studio.
“You seem a little tired, did you sleep well?”
Alexa asked curiously as she saw the soggy eyes and black spots under her eyes.
It was a normal thing she always saw under Olivia Jonnes's eyes but something about today did not feel normal.

“Tired? I am not ” She awkwardly laughed and unconsciously pulled her sleeves up.
