“Patient? That is what you have been telling me all this while. You promised me that she would be gone but look at how she is growing bigger. You are not a man of your words ”
Andrew flared up and banged the table. Her words annoyed him to the depth. He had tried every single one to harm her but failed. Something just kept returning the attacks.

“Amelia! Mind what you say to me! I have tried my best .”
He yelled, sat back on the chair and continued reading the comments. Her hands were clenched to the hem of her shirt as she glared at her father.
Done everything? What a bluff!
Amelia packed her phone into her bag, alerted her assistant, went to the car, and drove it out of the compound. Gone were the days she would rely on her useless father, if he does not know how to get rid of her then she would do it.

In the hospital.
Anthony whistled happily as he entered the hospital room with a bag full of fruits, vegetables and flowers. He kept them on the table, took a chair out near Olivia and sat on it.

“You look so happy. What makes you happy today?” She raised up her head upon seeing his happy face and stared at him for a response.
Anthony handed him his phone before going on to tell him what really happened.

“I will soon have a cousin in law and then little children to play with, do you not think so?”
He went ahead to wash the fruits in the sink next to the window, took a knife, cut them into slices and served them on a plate.
He strode to Olivia and handed the slices to her.

“Woah! They look as if they are married. And the wedding dress compliments her skin so much and it is lovely. ”
Olivia scrolled through the photos that trended on every social media especially Weibo and Wechat. Her eyes grew jealous of the dress and the happily posed couples.

“If you like the dress, I can order it for you. Then you can be the most beautiful girl in the world .” He dramatically said with his hands shaped into love.
Olivia spanked his arm to put it down and looked away from him. The wedding dress was indeed fabulous but had the backs and arms opened. It was definitely not going to be possible for her to wear that dress because of her scars.

“That dress is like over nine hundred billion yuan and in dollars, over a million. Hat is too expensive for a wedding dress. That company is a cheat!”

“What? That dress is crafted by the only famous female designer in the Philippines, Gam Quin, of course it is meant to rank billions, if not trillions.”
He took a bite from the apple slice and fed it to Olivia.

“Look, my cousin will soon be having babies any time from now, when will I get mine?”
His words had hidden meanings. He had always proposed the idea of getting married to her but her response was always, maybe another time.

“Anthony...........” She sighed greatly. This was one talk she dared to avoid.
Her dating Anthony was only for the meantime and her mind did not go further to marriage and only stayed at Dating.
Although it was unfair to him, she was not ready to face another broken marriage again.

“You don't need to answer me now. I will wait. ” He swept her answer under the carpet.
Her usual words of maybe next time pained him to the core, yet his love for her was unchangeable.

“I think I need to give you an answer. I have been thinking to myself and if I don't give you one today, I might be guilty for the rest of my life .”

“Anthony, you are a good man and that fact can not be over exaggerated, moreover, I am the mistake here in the relationship. I just can't see myself getting married again no matter if he is a good or bad person ”

“Olivia........I am not forcing you. If you don't want to get married to me, I would not say anything. I just don't want any man's fingers on you, that is all.”

“Hmmmmm.............” Olivia nodded and went ahead to eat her sliced apple.

Meanwhile, In the South East of California.

“Mr. Davies, I did not know you would pay me a visit. Do come in ”


Felix bowed his head as a sign of respect and went along to enter the house. He gasped silently at the big mansion of the man and went ahead to the living room to have a seat.
The house was indeed a ruby mansion with high hanging chandeliers and rich decorations.
Investor Alden coughed and smiled at the same time. He waved at one of the maids to serve him tea.

“What tea do you want?”

“Lemon should be okay .” He replied. Since yesterday, he had been going through all of Investor Alden's favorite and non favorite, business wear and at most all his favorite.
He found this old man interesting and fascinating.

“If I may ask, do you live here alone?” With the tea served on the table, he asked.
This whole mansion was too wide just for one person to live in it.

“No I don't. My wife is overseas, specifically in the Bahamas. My brother's daughter is here in California but too busy. So technically, for now, I live here ”
After his explanation, Felix sipped the tea, cleared his throat and began to talk about his business proposal.
Investor Alden had his ears amazed from the ideas this young and capable man was saying. He had already thought of not investing in the Yan Group, however, this man convinced him to an extent.

“I know that is your reason for coming. I also enjoyed the proposal and I have seen that you have potentials ready to wow me. Moreover, I have signed and invested in LR group.”

“If the proposal was wowing you, then why don't you see the one more beneficial to you?”
Felix sipped his tea once again, kept the tea cup on the table and crossed his legs.
He just could not understand him again. If his proposal was better and amazing, why was his own not chosen and instead of Ray Hudston's?

“You see, young child. Business is not all about fine and amazing proposals, it is all about the way those proposals and ideas are implemented. For me, I care less about fine ideas instead, the risk that comes with it. ”

“I would not lie about investing in LR because I know for sure that, if something goes wrong, let us say they go bankrupt for instance, I will have my money the way it was invested with even more commission. That is more profitable .”

“Investor Alden, We had signed a contract with you first, that would be considered as breaching the contract ”

“I am not new at business nor the action and consequences of breaching a contract. I have sent the fine to the finance department. If you want to chase me for legal purposes, you know where to find my lawyer .”
He said using a stern voice.

“Uncle Alden! I have got something for you. I got some coffee beans, some latest chess boards and a limited membership card to the golf field .”
A girl's voice was heard from the entrance and also clicking of heels which distracted the two men's talk.
Felix raised his head that was initially lowered up to see the owner of the voice.
Khloe walked into the living room, dropped the items she bought on the silver coffee table and said.

“Uncle, the doctor had said you should not accept any visitor that your health and rest is important. ”
She hinted saying that the young man sitting on the sofa should not be there and he should be resting and not attending to business ideas.

“You caught me, Khloe. Come have a seat with Uncle. ” He distracted her and tapped on the sofa where he was sitting.
Khloe went ahead and sat on the sofa. Bringing out a temperature meter, she checked his body temperature and frowned.

“Uncle, you have not had your drugs. The doctor said that you have to take them! Stop being such an old baby and take them .”

“Khloe, ever since you came here it has been, Doctor said this......Doctor said that! You are embarrassing me. ” He whined like an old man and creased his brows.
There was no denial that they had little resemblance in the way they talked and their vocabulary, besides, she hated her father and always spent time with his brother.
Since her own father refused to spoil her like the rest of the family did.

Felix stared at the two arguing children. One was making a fuss and the other was whining at her.
How he wished his father talked to him in that manner and not in a cold manner.

“This is.......Felix, New President of the D Group .”
Old Man Alden finally introduced him. He brought out his hands for a shake.

“Felix? Are you somehow related to Valerie and Alexa?”
She fumed and asked him. Never would she forget what those two ladies did to her in the mall and sought revenge!

“Valerie is my sister, Alexa is a friend. How did you........”

“Uncle Alden! How dare you let a Davies here? Remember how they embarrassed me in the mall. I am still angry about that. Send him out of here!”
With her spoiled brat nature, she demanded him to be sent out of the house.
She looked at her Uncle when she did not hear his response.

“Mr. Davies, I am very sorry for my cousin's daughter's behavior. She is just really like that. ” Investor Alden awkwardly apologized.
This girl was just bound to make him grow red cheeks before his time. Felix smiled as a symbol of acceptance and went ahead to say.

“You don't need to apologize, Investor Alden. Somehow, it was a fault in my duties to raise my sister up in a more mannered way. As for any shame she would have brought you, Miss Smith, I am greatly sorry for that. I will be glad to treat you to a meal to show my sincere apology. ”
He bowed his head. Khloe left her mouth open as she was shocked by the gentle words that came out from his mouth.
She dared not to believe that this man was truly Valerie's brother.
