“Can it wait later? I have to........” Olivia paused when he gripped her by the waist and pulled her closer to him. His face rested on her shoulders.

“................”
She was literally confused about what was going on. She was lost for words.

“Olivia, ever since I met you before I could not keep myself intact. The more I saw your face on the internet the more my heart desired for you. I came back by all means to have my love. Olivia , in short, without you, I can't stay input. These following months with you made me realize that I can't just stop going crazy for you.”

“So what are you saying?” She was truly confused and had lots of question marks on her forehead.

“Olivia Jones, I like you.”

Olivia's words stumbled in her throat. She moved away from Anthony and balled her fist.
Her memory of when Xu Hakka confessed to her flew back and it hurt to see it. She was very happy the day he confessed and also the day he proposed.
Her heart raced as she took a look at Anthony who waited for his own answer.

“Mr. Armis..........I.........”

“You don't have to respond to it now. I will wait until you think it through, okay?” Anthony held her mouth from spoiling the good atmosphere. Her abrupt answer might put him into shock, so he made sure not to allow her to speak.

“But............” Wei said. Would he be willing to be together with her after knowing her past?
It is possible he never knew her past so that was why he confessed his feelings to her. Would his feelings still remain neutral after knowing her horrendous past?

“Olivia, I know you don't like me or have any feelings for me, but can you think about your response before letting me know?”

“Mr. Armis......”

“Call me Anthony....”

“Anthony....... It is not possible for us to be together. I am a divorced woman. It is gonna be very embarrassing knowing that you are dating a divorced woman. You are a good man and I don't want to soul your name ”
Olivia sadly said. Her hands reached and cleaned her tears.

“I will be going ” She left as quick as she could leaving Anthony to think over again. She could not let such a good man's name be spoiled.
Anthony sighed and stared at her retreating shadow. He thought in his head when she could just let go of her past.

End of flashback,

Olivia stood in front of her mirror getting ready for work when Lionel knocked and came in.

“How long am I gonna stay in my room?” He sadly pouts his lips. He did not want to make his mother angry by cooperating with him.
He thought things would go smoothly and she wouldn't find out.

“Don't dare complain! You betrayed me and that's your punishment ” She rubbed a little lipstick and added a little foundation.
He whined and hugged his mother tightly refusing to let go.

“Oh come on! I was concerned for you. You obviously like brother Xin, why do you keep rejecting him?” Lionel spoke and got a glare from his mother.
He could see the signs of love and admiration from his mother but could not also understand why she wouldn't accept his confession.

“That is my business and not yours. Once you are an adult, you will understand but for now, don't put me in a tight spot,Okay?”
She patted him and went downstairs to drive to work. Her little leave had expired and she was very happy to come back to work. The new love of her life.

“What is all that noise?” Olivia asked as she turned and watched men transfer some furniture into the next apartment opposite her. “Mr. Armis?”
She questioned surprisingly and went in his direction.

“What a coincidence! I just moved into the new apartment next to yours ” Anthony laughed awkwardly and saw her fumes.
If he was not gonna be her boyfriend then they might as well be neighbors.

“Coincidence? Are you sure about that?” Olivia's face palmed herself. What kind of parasite did she attract?

“Hey, I forgot, flowers for the most beautiful girl in the world ” He handed her a rose. “We are late for work, let's go ”
Anthony pushed her into his car and shut the door.

“Let me out of here!” She banged on the window.
Looks like her nightmare has just begun.
At Armis's parking lot.

Anthony pulled over and parked in the Director's base, came down and went over to Olivia's door to open it.

“Milady?” He smiled and sulked when he got ignored by her once again. He closed the door and held her hands tightly.

“Mr. Armis, please be reminded that this is a workplace not a dating place ” His cold, bossy and sassy attitude resurfaced back. She held her handbag and some files in the bag.

“I can not be more appreciative than this......thanks for the ride but I have to go, mind letting me go?” she signaled to her hands which were held by him so protective.

“But......”

“This is going to be so embarrassing if we are caught here. As I said before, you are my boss and I am your employee, no strings attached. ” She swiped her hands back from him and walked into the building.

“Just watch and see, Olivia! You can't hide from me too long ” He tapped his fingers on the car, handed over the keys and ran to her.
Meanwhile, In the office.
“Have you noticed the boss has been frequently showing up in Manager Jonnes's office? '' One of the coworkers hissed and whispered.
It was so unusual. Could it be that their boss changed over three days of his leave?
Impossible!

“Did you hear that the boss went to Disneyland? I saw the photo on Weibo. He posted it in his moments and there was a girl but too bad he blurred it!” Another female worker whined.
All these weird behaviors showed that the boss had a girlfriend, but won't it be that bad?

“What are you all talking about?! Did you come to work to chat away or to be productive? We are not paying you to chat!” Vivian annoyingly said. She could not ignore the fact that their boss had been gone for three days and suddenly he comes to work and becomes clingy to Mrs. Lan.

“Back to work everyone!” Vivian says and walks to Anthony's office.

In his office.
Vivian knocks and waits for his reply before pushing the door open. She strode into his office and dropped the contract on his desk.
Biting her lips, she stared at Anthony's hot and sexy face.

“Do I have something on my face? ” Anthony will d off his face and cough. Vivian laughed awkwardly and maintained seriousness.

“No boss. Here is the contract for the cooperation with Mr. John. I have revised it and highlighted all the benefits of both parties ”

“That is so hardworking of you.” He sent a text and went through the contract once more.

“Have you had lunch?” Anthony speeds text her and uses the time to scroll through the contract.

“No, why do you ask?” Olivia replied back with an angry face.

“Nothing....” He turned off his phone and faced Vivian. “Have you eaten anything? ”
He waited for her answer anxiously.

“Me?” Vivian surprisingly asked. Her fingers are playing with the tip of her hair. She smiles and blushes. “I haven't. I saw this restaurant when coming to work and guess what? it is their anniversary and the theme is all about love ”

“Seriously? Then let us go there for lunch. I will tell Olivia. Invite the others, okay?” He stood up and left before she could say anything.

“Fuck it! Olivia.....? This is war ” She stomped her feet and looked at the glass door. She picked her phone and phoned his mother.
After a few rings, she picked the call.

“Auntie, I have something to tell you, it is about your son's new lover ”

“Lover?”

Meanwhile,

“Come in.....” Olivia straightened up and replied to the knock on her door. “Mr. Armis?”
She sighed once again. His appearance became so steady that she would throw up any second.

“I have not yet finished drafting the documents for the meeting with Mr. John, mind if you give me some time?” She responded back and sipped her coffee.

“I see. Have you had lunch yet?”

“I had a cup of coffee and a bottle of water, any problem with that?” Olivia wondered.

“No.....there is not. I am inviting everyone for lunch and was wondering if you could join them. Don't worry......I won't ask for that document any time for now, so you can perhaps join us.”

“I can't.... ” She looked away as her stomach growled at her. “Maybe a bite couldn't hurt. ” She agreed

“That is great. Let us go .”
