“So you say being a doctor is super easy?”

“I didn't say that but since you did, I agree with you. Being a doctor is easier compared to being a special A force agent!”

“Oh Really?” Miles smirked at her. This little girl was really far behind on his identity. He was a retired doctor for the last five years and also an agent just like her but even more sophisticated than her.

“You sound like there is more to you. Go ahead and tell me.” She laughed in her mind. This man was really a fool to easily let his identity take over him.
It did not take so long for Jocelyn to find out that he was one of them but who exactly.
LR squad members knew themselves well and their identities but she never heard of a doctor as an A-agent which meant that he was not from their base, then whose base?
And why would the boss let some unknown stranger treat her and have her identity that quick unless there is some kind of hidden mystery.

“That is all for today. You are fine. ” He took a pause. This woman was a tactful person and could deceive him into letting out his identity too easily.

“Did you come with your car? Or should I drop you?”

“I came with my car, just help me there,that is all ” She lifted her chin tiredly and came down from the bed with her crutches. Miles lifted her arms and walked her through the elevator.

In the car.
He opened the car door and helped her in and put her crutches in the side chair.

“I hope I didn't interfere with your work? Geez, I forgot your name. ”

“I am Kingsley. Nice meeting you ” He nervously said, shut the door and went back into the hospital.

“Kingsley, right? Nice seeing you too ” Her face and lips grinned

Jocelyn put in her car keys and started the car. She reached for her phone and texted Audie.

[What did the boss say? Did he shout at you? - Audie]

[Nope! So you wanted me to be shouted at, huh? - Jocelyn]

[ Okay, too bad my dream was shattered!, anyway, what's the texting all about - Audie]

[ The boss took me to a weird orthopedic doctor for my leg to be healed quickly and when I say weird, I mean super weird. He is somehow an A force agent like me and also a doctor - Jocelyn ]

[ A doctor and an agent? Not sure if it is possible. What do you want me to do for you? - Audie]

[Well.......Help me look up Kingsley's detail on the database of every base in Beijing and possibly all the country in the world - Jocelyn]

He took his laptop and logged into the hidden mode and searched for him.

[Let's talk on phone - Audie]
He dialed her number and she picked up.

“For now, there is no one called Kingsley in any base. I think you have been fooled.”

“Thanks, Audie. I will fulfill my promise later!” She hung up on him. “ Sneaky, right? Mr. Kingsley or if that is your real name!”
She muttered and drove off.

In the Hudston's mansion.
The dining hall is set with all different kinds of dishes and golden plates. The eldest miss of the Hudston's just returned and she decided to have a meeting with her family.
Brooklyn Hudston and her son,Jack Hudston were seated patiently in the dining hall waiting for Peyton Emily.

“Where is your wife? Has she become so arrogant that she doesn't want to show up?” Brooklyn lashed out. It had been an hour since she arrived back in Beijing and had been sitting on that damn chair all in the name of waiting for her daughter in law.

“My wife? I have not seen her since the last fiasco she caused Ray's company. Maybe she is out of the country drowning in sorrow as usual ”
Jack bluntly responded. Emily's activities became more suspicious since her fight with Ray and his company and he won. She became so quiet and it was unlike her.
The big black door was pushed open and Emily wearing the least fashionable outfit walked in with her company's jewels on her fingers and ear.
Her steps were elegant as always and her stance too. She took a seat near herJack.

“How long does it take for you to come? Have you become so rude that you forgot who made you who you are today?”
Brooklyn sneered and watched Emily angrily. She was greatly satisfied with how obedient and hardworking her adopted child was in the past but suddenly, after the birth of Ray, she became so cold and rude to the people who catered for her.
Emily sneered back at her. The person who made her what she is today? What a bluff!

“I am sorry for being late. I did not receive your text early. I had a personal matter to settle before flying back here ”
She answered and turned to look at Jack. He was sitting quietly and monitoring her. His eyes never left her neck and that made her more nervous.
She covered her neck with the scarf and coughed awkwardly.

“Since you are back in town, would you like me to escort you around?” Jack quickly hit his face from her sight and said. His mother was busy traveling and hadn't had time to return home.
She either does video calling or sends some SMS to them once in a while.

“I thought someone would ask me, but sure, you can. ” Brooklyn said, referring to the woman who sat down there with a knife and fork in her hands. She refused to touch the food.

“Has it come to the point where you will be scared to eat the food prepared because you think I will poison you?”
