“Isn't that too high for a newbie? I mean, she is still new in the business field and might make grievous errors in the records ”
She let out her view. While, inside of her, she fumed!

“With you and other colleagues help, she can excel.” He smiled and turned to Olivia. “You start work today. I will introduce you to the board. ”
He took her hands and strode out of the room. Vivian scowled and balled her first the more.

“Let go off me!” Olivia struggled from his firm grip. His arms wrapped around her waist and his left hand joined together with her right.
Olivia said when the gaze became to awkward. How was she suppose to get along with other colleagues when they will be having doubts about her abilities.
They got to the center of the marketing department. He coughed loud to get their attention.

“Boss ”

They all greeted him and finally their eyes went to the woman who stood beside him.
The aura they felt from the woman was more of a friendly one than that of the big boss.

“This is Lan Olivia. She would be your chief executive officer of this department. Hope you treat her with warmth and kindness ”
He said with hidden meanings. He was not going to tolerate anyone who would mistreat his little wife.

“Just call me Xiao Wei. It is nice meeting all of you. ” She smiled and shifted away from Zixin.

“I have never seen a female employee after Miss Vivian. It is nice to get along with you ” The man who wore blue trouser and white shirt commented.
Olivia gasped when it all came to her senses. She didn't find any individual with her gender in her department which made it more embarrassing.
Was she now going to be staying and working with bunch of men?

“I will leave her to your care now ” He departed the room when his phone rang to answer it.
She strode to the empty desk in a spaced office and sat down.

‘So weird! Why would he only have male employees? Is he somehow attracted to males?’
She shivered at her thought and pulled down the blind of the room. Olivia arranged her belongings on the table and went around checking the room.

There were lots of commotion going on in the meeting room. The shareholders burst into anger while some threatened to pull out of the corporation.
Gabriel tried to calm the obnoxious shareholders but failed. He quickly sent a tweet to the big boss.
Everything was fine a total of five minutes ago, until a huge news broke out.
Hudston Emily had proposed for her son to be removed by the board of directors from the chairman position and also suggested that Mr. Han, Han Yueyan father be put as the chairman.
Most of the boards agreed while some didn't agree, so they had to wait for the final decision of the main boss.
Gabriel walked stressed round the hallway waiting for the big boss. He had sweat on his face and all part of the body. If Hudston Emily already had twelve votes out of twenty votes from the shareholders then the boss had no chance of winning them back.
His personal elevator beeped and the door slowly opened. His father came out and looked at the stressed Gabriel.

“Is Ray already here?”
He asked worriedly. He knew the capability of his wife and knew that she was bent on destroying everything Ray loved and cherished and that includes his company too.

“No Sir! He......” He halted when the elevator beeped again. Ray with his female detective walked out the elevator.
He froze on the spot when he sighted his father.

“Ray, I can help you in taking down, Emily.”
Ray turned to Gabriel and said.

“Go and calm them down. I will soon be there ” Gabriel bowed and left the father and the son to talk.

“What do you say?”


Ray coughed out and laughed. His cold laughter made his father clench.

“Did I say something funny?” Angered by his sudden laughter, he asked.
His feet tapped impatiently on the floor. His eyes focused and waiting for his next movement.
For once, he wanted his son to actually depend on him but from the look of things, he seemed not to give him the response he desired.

“It seems you did "
He coldly murmured and strode past him like he was nothing. Suddenly he halted when he heard his last statement.

“Dont plant your grave yet! Just because you seem all mighty doesn't mean you are!” His father spat out and angrily walked into the conference room.
Ray glanced at his retreating shadows and smirked. He too walks in a minute later along with his detective.

“What are we going to do?”

“Isn't it clear, having Mr. Long as our chairman is not more going so good as we thought ”

“But don't you think it is not right to do this!”
Half of the shareholders argued out their opinions while some sat in silence waiting for the big boss's next strike.
The whole situation threw them off balance and put them in a serious turmoil.
The hall quietened down when they heard clicking sounds of a female heel. The door opened as two perfectly fitted aura walked in.
Ray strode in with his hands tucked in his blue Dior coat paired with matching trouser and shoes.
Along side, his female detective, Ma Jocelyn. Her too paired with one of the styHudston black boot heels, a white blouse and high knee pencil skirt. She sat beside Ray and waved for the hall to be silence.
Emily grinned in her mind and folded the magazine which she was reading to kill of time. The lovely shoe would soon begin.
Ray observed his mother and also smirked too. The two stared at each other exchanging meaningful gazes within five seconds and he switched back.
One of the shareholder, an old man stood up with the help of his assistant and spoke. He grew tired of staying without doing nothing.
He needed nothing but fact. The man there had only 2.5% of the share and in according to the share rank, he ranked top 19.

“There is something that all bothers us here and we want it to be aired finally. The database you showed us last meeting were falsified with fake digits. The efficiency of labour went drastically low to about -0.01% over a small period. So as the profit rate too.”
After he poured his mind, murmurs grew louder in the hall. The shareholders exchanged gazes with themselves.

“So what are you proposing? You kick me out of the chairman seat?”
He went straight to the point. He for one hated beating around the bush and gave things how they are whether they were hurtful or not.
The murmurs grew more louder. At last, he spoke their minds out!

“If may due respect, yes! You are not that productive anymore as you were in the past! We want someone more vast in business than you. And to remind all of you, you are just a youth who have little knowledge about business. We shareholders have come to a final conclusion, we want to impeach you!”
Suddenly the room became chilly. His gaze only on his detective as she yawns. She stepped forward with her laptop and put on a slide show.

“I see! So there is a claim that I have not been productive over the years?”

“Yes!”

More of them shouted. They had to do their best to get him off that post. Who was just a youth who were no match for them who had been in this game for a long period.
He once more looked at the mother who seated calmly on the chair and nods his head for her to play the video.
Swiftly, her fingers dashed through the keyboard and sheepishly pressed the enter button. The large screen appeared and the light of the room went off.
Voices were heard through the video which was played. One of which belonged to Mr. Benson and the other to his mother.
The video focused more on when they met at the stock market and how they discussed to sell most of the shares to the public.
They all gasped as they heard gradually more of the conversation. Ray paused the video and turned on the light back on.
When the light came on, Mr. Benson's body was covered with sweat as he shivered on his seat.
He could not believe that the phone call would be revived with even videos. How could he do it? He was tricked!
Ray had his finger crossed and said,

“Mr. Benson? You care to explain?”
The arrogant Mr. Benson now fidgetted on his seat. He was afraid to look up at the cold CEO who kept his gaze fixed upon him.
He turned to Mrs. Hudston's direction and got no support. He sneered and stood up.
They had tricked him and he stupidly fell into their trap. Obviously, he was not going to escape from the clutches of the ruthless CEO.

“Why should I explain? Isn't it obvious that I don't want to have a share again?” He spat and shot a glare at him.

“Then why are you still here? Do you need me to send you escort before you get your stinky asshole out of here?” Ray defiantly.
Anyone who had the guts to challenge him deserved no mercy and needed to be treated that way.
Mr. Benson left the hall angrily, slamming the large brown door. The other shareholders who went against him all quivered in anxiety.
His gaze were then fixed on the other supporter of his mother and coldly said.

“If you have the power to challenge me, I will give you a chance ” He rephrased his statement making it clear to them all.
Unless they had power to impeach him from the seat only then would he give them a chance.

“Meeting adjourned!” He laid back in his seat with his arms folded and staring sharply at his mother. The remaining shareholders left one by one and also swapping stares at each other.
Slowly, the room was left empty with only the mother and son duo.

“I didn't know you knew about my phone call with him all this while ”
She smirked and in turn strode to his seat. Her fingers rested on his shoulders and her face close to his ears.

“You win this time. Enjoy your victory now!” She sheepishly whispered and swiped her fingers through his lashes.
Hudston Emily sneezed and held her breath when she felt a surge of pain in her heart. She searched for her medicine in her bag but could not find it.

“You have thrown all your best shot yet couldn't beat me. I hope this ends here!” He retorted back with his gaze fixed on her.
Her eyes furrowed at his words. He wasn't even damn concerned why his own blood mother hated him to the core. What an interesting creature!

“You sure?”

“If you don't then I can play your game! Mrs. Hudston!”
He got up from the king size chair and left the room along with Miss Ma.

“DAMN IT! You!” Emily slammed her palm on the table. This son was eager in pushing her to her destruction. Ahe held her chest again when the pain came with full force.
Her lips turned chapped and faint. Her skin looking so pale. She was gradually losing her breath and needed her medicine.
She coughed out little blood into her handkerchief and leaned against the wall.

“Boss!” The assistant ran quickly to her. She had been looking for her master after the closing of the meeting and couldn't see her.
She helped her up from her clutched down position to the chair. She opened up her blouse and put a machine on her chest and tore loose the nylon of the drug.

“Have it okay?” She turned up the machine and made sure her boss swallowed the medicine.
Once she regained herself and her pale skin became normal, she detached her chest from the machine and kept it back.
She touched her body to make sure her temperature became stable as it was before.
She just almost had a cardiac arrest. Her boss, Hudston Emily had always had cancer of the heart since last five years.
On constant taking of drugs, she managed to survive for those periods and refused to have the surgery.

“Boss, the doctor has advised that you undergo the surgery. I can book your flight to Germany for the surgery. You can't keep avoiding it ”
She assisted her up and put her hands over her shoulders and led her out of the company building.

“Keep the investigation going, I don't think Mr. Benson would let things fly past him without having his revenge. Strength the security around Alexa ” He breathed out, carefully removed his jacket and handed it over to Gabriel.
The timing of the video was so accurate it was easy to deceive them. Without the help of the best computer scientist in the entire universe, they would not have been able to fake it.
The video was fake and also the voices. The voices were very easy to form considering they had the best voice technician on their team.
He looked out of the car when Jocelyn adjusted her seatbelt. It all came to make sense!
No mother would want the destruction of their child or maybe his own mother was a psycho herself.

“Help me look into what happened on my birthday years back. I want every information that exist ” He spoke to Jocelyn. She nods her head and notes it down.
There must be a hidden reason for her behaviour towards him.

“Alexa came for you today in the company but I told her you were not available ”
Gabriel reported and Ray jerked up. Damn it! He totally forgot about his little miss.

“Jocelyn, I will have to leave this to you for now, can you handle it?” He brought out a file and handed it over to her.
He needed her to go and capture the mastermind behind the theft of the super wares.

“Xizhao? I thought we wiped this people out of existence. How are they still alive?”
This people were maniacs at warfare guns and missiles. They had been wiped out by the White Angels years ago. How was it possible for them to assemble within six years?
