“I...............” Alexa stammers as she stares at Ray. She frowned her face angrily.
He was the reason for her lying! And if she continued like that, she would lose her best friend!

“Let us meet at BQ's Boutique?” Alexa said.

“Hmmm. I will bring some extra cash if we run into some rotten brat.” Valerie laughed.
She could not stop laughing at the trending topic of Han Yueyan's embarrassment. It was so funny that it kept trending for three good weeks.
The phone disconnected and Alexa sighed. She looked at the caller ID and felt sad. Her best friend lied to her, how would she come out of this mess?
Even heaven might strike her dead for lying. She could only sigh and get up to prepare for the outing.

“I hereby resign!” Olivia Jones confronted her boss. She had taken the entertainment industry like her own child and did not have maximum time to look after hers.
The boss glared at her as he stared at the confident lady. He scorned hatred for her, and clutched her fingers into a ball. His intense gaze pierced into her skin.
Olivia scoffed at his glares. Was she meant to remain here and suffer? Not like they paid her well!

“You are making too much of a request! Olivia Jones!” The boss yelled when he took a look at her resignation letter.
The letter contained a lawsuit of $300,000,000,000 and some billing fines. He grabbed the paper and tore it into two.
He gritted his teeth while looking at her. Her life was not meant to go as easy as this! Life was meant to be harsh on her!

“How is this so much of a request? I just ask for what I deserve or do you think I am a fool?”
Her Question threw him off his seat. He scowled at her remarks. Too much of a request? Was she kidding him?
Where was he supposed to get such a bizarre amount of money if he did not want to get sued? Even himself had not seen such zeros before.

“What do you mean? I have always been honest to you. ” He stood up from his chair and strode to her.
He stood beside her and reached for her chin when his fingers were slapped off from a distance.

“You are this shameless!” She scowled and flung pictures of him with various women.
Mr Ha Mouro was indeed a womanizer although engaged to an English woman. He was a renowned lothario, and was known to be lustful after young women.
He used his position to harass his female employees and kept a side chick with him.

“Won't it be so nice to see these past rumors resurfacing on the internet when a certain person uploads them?” Her voice thickened as her eyes grinned in wickedness.
This is just the beginning of her revenge! Everyone who had hurt her when she had nothing would face the consequences.

“Hell! You dare not! Who even gave up the audacity to do so? Remember, I can make you a nobody in future!”
He smirked and looked at the unaffected Olivia. A little brief chuckle echoed through the room.

“A nobody? Who makes you sure of what you say? Let us make a bet, should we?”

“What bet?”
“I can destroy this empire in 24 hours, you dare to bet?”

“You! Besides, you are nothing but a weakling! What is there to be afraid of? What am I benefiting from this?”
He mumbled and accepted the challenge.

“If I lose then I will come crawling to you, go online and make an official apology, and also be at your mercy!”
Olivia gave him attractive benefits. She knew he was one to make a deal if the other side favored him than the dealer.

“Deal. But be a man of your words!”

“You sure about that? And of course, I am a man of my word but you have not heard my own side of the bet. If I win, I will make sure you go and apologize to those women you drugged and raped and also shut down this horrendous empire you call yours!”
Her own offers were light. She made it less weighty since that was what she aimed for, to avenge for her sexual abused friends.

“Miss Jonnes, you are making a big mistake. Once I win, you will be at my mercy and then let us see if you will still have such arrogant behavior! ”

“Mr. Ha, you are too full of yourself. What makes you sure that I would not win? We both know nothing about the future do we?” She smiled revealing her white teeth.

“I will see you in the next 24 hours, that is if you are alive!” She left the office. Ha Mouro yelled with rage. He flung those pictures into the dustbin and lit it up with fire.
The dustbin caught fire and burnt to ashes. He strode towards the huge window in his office. Looked down and saw the woman who had just threatened him entering her car.
He dialed a certain number and it rang.
“Make sure that Ms. Jonnes does not make it alive tomorrow ” He sneered and smashed his phone. He then laughed evilly and said her name.

“Olivia? You think you are so mighty now? Let us see if you will be able to fight off my gang!”

“What the fuck!” Anthony shouted as he got up from the bed. His new woman was really a daring one.
She dared to offend another person! He ruffled his head and placed the files on the table.

“What should we do Mr. Armis? With that man's ability, she might be considered dead!” His assistant blurted out.
Mr. Ha Mouro is a scheming man and has a lot of people in the underworld. One person going against him could only mean one thing, she was seeking death!

“If she is able to go against such person then I am pretty sure she has some skills up her sleeves.Besides I will always support her ”
He waved his hands and his assistant came forward. She helped him adjust the drip.

“What about my mother? She refused to pick my calls ”

“She........ ” Before she could finish her sentence,Anthony's mother came in. “I will take my leave ” She bowed to his mother and left.

“My sweet mother, don't put on such a face like that ” He crotched to her hand and snuggled into it.

“Hey! Get your head off! You are a man!” His mother sneered and threw his head off her arms.
She sat on the bed and arranged pillows behind him to help him sit up.

“I made your favorite, Mashed potatoes and soy sauce. ”

“I knew you would not abandon me here in this lonely hospital! My mother is the best. ” He reached for the spoon when he felt the chilly gaze.

“Who is that woman?”

“Mom! You said you won't stress about her again!” He could not figure out a way to tell his mother that his planned wife almost paralyzed and killed him.
With her attitude, she would be furious and could kill him right on the spot. He held her hands and kissed it.

“Don't you dare try to divert from the topic!”

“Mom! You are causing me trouble! What if I say I planned to marry her? What will you do?”

“You must be kidding, Anthony! If you dare so, I will cut your balls in half and make sure you have nothing to appease her with!”

“Damn it! Mom, that is too blunt!” He put his fingers over her mother to shut her up. “That is too loud, someone might hear you!”
