Chapter 109: 6 months and Counting
By late September Bianca was still busy with home and school and the months were just flying by. She had tried her best to hide her growing belly with bigger clothes and even with pretty long sweaters so that it wouldn’t be that noticeable. All her close friends finally, knew and they were good at keeping each other’s secrets. Bianca did her best not to be around her mother or Marco but knew that she didn’t have much longer before she would have to tell them both anyways. Bianca was just happy that the baby wasn’t Marco’s or Alex’s, but even though it was Tyler’s, it didn’t make it any better. Bianca had been trying to avoid the whole family after she had dinner with all of them at their place when she finally got the results and knew she had to Tyler and his parents. She also told them she didn’t expect anything from them and could take care of the baby with or without their help.
They all wanted Bianca to move in and stop seeing clients at least until after the birth of the baby, and she told them she couldn’t promise not to see clients. She even told them there was no way she was moving in with them. October had come so quick and more days and weeks that went by the bigger Bianca got “Man I am going to need to sit down with Ana and Marco and finally tell them about the baby. They’ve been gone so much lately and vacationing everywhere that they haven’t even noticed” she whispered to Joy, Amanda, and Stephanie at lunch. They all stopped eating and drinking at the same time. “Wow BB you’ve lucked out and well to be honest you really don’t look pregnant anyway” Stephanie blurted out loud in the cafeteria. Bianca gave Stephanie a “shut the fuck up” look and if looks could only kill. Joy kicked Stephanie from under the table “Joy WTF was that for” Stephanie yelped and shot up.
Bianca was already up and out of her seat before anyone could say anything else and headed out to her locker. She still had one more class left after lunch and since she only went to school for ½ a day now she just decided to get her stuff out of her locker for the next class “criminology”. She closed up her locker and as she turned around Tyler was standing there waiting. “Damn it, Ty, you scared the shit out of me” she yelled as she practically fell back against the locker. Tyler held her arm so she could get her balance back and waited as she took in a few deep breaths. Tyler smiled ‘My mom and dad want you to come for dinner when you have your next day off. That’s if you can schedule us in” he said. Bianca smiled back “Is this because I’ve refused to book them or you as clients?” she asked. Tyler got angry and stepped closer “You’re having my baby and I’m going to be a part of its life and so are my parents” he whispered in her ear. Bianca pulled her arm back “I should have never told you, you know what maybe a dinner would be a good idea” she whispered back through gritted teeth.
Bianca picked up her bag and headed to class and left Tyler standing at her locker alone, “Great now it’s even more crucial I tell Ana and Marco when they come back” Bianca said to herself as she sat down at her desk. She had only been seeing clients she knew well and one’s that were usually the one’s being blind folded and tied up. “Damn it I almost forgot” she sighed as she realized she had her 6-month checkup that day. 1pm came so fast “Wow I get to go home, well leave school now at least” she said as she dropped her things off in her locker. Bianca found all the girls waiting for her as she turned the corner to leave school, they were all smiles. Bianca was just so confused “So why are you girls smiling like that?” she asked as she met them at the entrance door. Amanda smiled “Well we know that today is exactly 23 weeks/6months whatever and we’re pretty sure you probably have an appointment coming up” she whispered. Bianca smiled “today in-fact I’m heading there now” she said as she hugged the girls, and they rubbed her belly. Bianca put on her jacket and headed to the truck “man it’s getting cold early this year” she said as she stepped out of the school building.
25 minutes later Bianca pulled into the parking lot of Dr. O’Brien’s office and found Nevaeh’s truck parked and empty. “WTF I don’t need anyone here with me for, fuck sake” she muttered as she bit on her bottom lip. Bianca tried to calm herself before she headed in and when she finally walked in and was ready to rip Nevaeh a new asshole. As she was trying to figure out a calm way to tell Nevaeh to get lost, she was surprised to find not only Nevaeh waiting for her, but Mama waiting for her as well. Bianca signed in and they all greeted her so kindly a few minutes later nurse Jasmine greeted her as well. “So we’re told you’ve got some company with you this time” she said through the window of the reception area. Bianca smiled and then rolled her eyes “Would seem that way Jazzy” she whispered and then winked before Jasmine closed the window back up. Bianca didn’t start anything in the office, but gave them both a look of “WTF are you doing here”.
15 minutes later Dr. O’Brien called Bianca back into a room and both Mama and Nevaeh followed. Once they were all in the room and Dr. O’Brien left them alone long enough for Bianca to get into a gown. “I’m not sure what the hell you two are doing here I was heading to Mama’s after anyways” Bianca whispered through clenched teeth just before Dr. O’Brien re-entered. Dr. O’Brien introduced herself to Mama and Nevaeh and then Bianca introduced her company to Dr. O’Brien “They are my rock…even though I make it a habit of pushing them away” Bianca blurted out. Dr. O’Brien smiled “Alright then well let’s see what’s been going on I haven’t seen you in about 4 months for an actual checkup so I’m assuming everything has been, ok?” she asked. Bianca smiled “Just a little cramping, but no bleeding and the books I’ve read had said in the first trimester and even throughout the pregnancy you could have cramps.”
Dr. O’Brien just looked at her and shook her head “You should always still check with me no matter what, it’s your 1st pregnancy and you never know.” Bianca smiled agreed and promised to call her day or night if anything different were to happen. “Now lets’ get on with the sonogram and see how the baby’s heart and everything sounds” Dr. O’Brien smiled and sat on her swivel chair. Dr. O’Brien squeezed the blue KY jelly stuff over Bianca’s belly and 30 seconds later Dr. O’Brien snapped a couple of pictures and then a couple more, then turned the screen to show Bianca. “Well umm..Bianca dear it looks that we have another baby in here” Dr. O’Brien said and smiled. She pointed to the two babies on the screen making sure they all knew what they were looking at. Bianca immediately started crying “OMG…you’re kidding me right? Are you sure the baby doesn’t have two heads or something?” Bianca whispered as she tried to calm her racing her heart.
