Chapter 110: The Shock of a Lifetime

Mama and Nevaeh didn’t say a word the whole time, but squeezed Bianca’s hand, Dr. O’Brien nodded “No honey the babies are in their own sacks and they look to be doing great. I’m assuming the cramping was more of just the babies moving and getting situated and well since I haven’t seen you in 4 months that’s why we didn’t catch the other baby it can happen sometimes.” Dr. O’Brien gave Bianca a few minutes to calm down and blow her nose, “How would you like to hear the heart beats now?” Dr. O’Brien said softly as she rubbed Bianca’s belly. Bianca took a deep breath “Yes I’ve been waiting for a while, that I guess it will really it make it real once I hear them” she confessed. 10 seconds later Dr. O’Brien flipped on the sound to the machine and found the 1st babies heartbeat and as it thumped away like dancing feet, and everyone in the room was now sniffling and Bianca turned to all 3 of them and smiled. Dr. O’Brien then found the 2nd babies heartbeat starting the whole excitement over again with Bianca’s instinctiveness moving her hands over her growing belly.
20 minutes later Bianca had new photos and a disk of the babies heartbeats “Oh yes and another baby to add to the list as well…” she muttered. Bianca sat up another appointment before she left. “She wants to see me in a month Jazzy” she informed Jasmine. Dr. O’Brien had given Bianca more instructions now that she was carrying twins, not much more but just a little. Bianca thanked Dr. O’Brien and all the ladies in the office still not sure how to tell her mother and Marco along with Tyler’s parents who already knew, but not about there now being 2. “I’m still so shocked and can’t get my head wrapped around the fact that I’m going to have not 1 baby but 2 babies now” she whispered to herself as she walked slowly out the front door. Mama and Nevaeh were right behind her without a word of their own that Bianca forgot they were even there. Bianca climbed into her escalade and looked like a zombie staring into space not sure what the hell she was doing let alone how in hell she was going to even be a good mother.
Before she could even put her key into the escalade to start her way home she was scolded. “Bianca what do you think you’re doing? You’re in no condition to drive” both Mama and Nevaeh said in unison. Bianca looked at the two women standing at her window and didn’t feel like arguing so she slid over, and Nevaeh jumped in the drivers’ seat. “Ummm how is your truck going to get back to Mama’s?” Bianca whispered as she looked at the sonogram photos and touched her belly. Nevaeh didn’t look at Bianca, but instead looked to mama. “Mama will follow us back to her place…” she whispered. Bianca didn’t say another word as she took out her phone to text Tyler. “I need to talk to you and your family A.S.A.P so dinner tomorrow at 5pm and I’m bringing Ana and Marco. I will explain in more detail at school tomorrow” she typed out. Then group texted all the girls Joy, Amanda, Stephanie, Johanna and Ashley “Omg shit is about to hit the fan more tomorrow when I see you girls…xoxo -B”
45 minutes later Mama, Nevaeh and Bianca were all sitting around the kitchen table starring at the sonogram pictures and still trying to wrap their heads around everything that happened. Bianca smiled then laughed and rolled her shirt up placing her hands on her belly. “Well, hello baby boy on right and baby girl on left…” she whispered down to them. Mama and Nevaeh smiled and watched Bianca for a few more minutes wanting to get in all the good feels that they were seeing. Mama got up from her chair and left the kitchen, “Can I feel them angel?” Nevaeh whispered as she scooted her chair closer. Bianca looked into Nevaeh’s eyes and smiled “Sure I’m starting to really love the idea of being a mother, but scared shitless about the twin part….and a whole lot more” she admitted. Nevaeh smiled and placed her hands on Bianca’s belly and rubbed her hands all around “This is so beautiful and wish I could experience this just once in my lifetime…” she whispered. Bianca frowned “Why what are you saying? You can’t have children?” she asked. Bianca touched Nevaeh’s face softly. “Well, I don’t mind sharing my babies so how about you be the God mother of one of them or both if you have what it takes” she suggested, and they both laughed.
Nevaeh smiled and kissed her belly “Are you serious? I mean I don’t want to pressure you” she said as she sat back up in her chair and looked at the sonogram pictures again. 10 minutes later Mama came back in the room and sat back down with some type of head set and what looked like a Walkman. “Mama what the hell is that? We don’t use Walkman’s anymore..” Bianca asked. Mama laughed “No dear this is a gift it’s something you can use whenever you want to hear the babies heart beats.” Mama scooted her chair over to Bianca and placed the headphones over Bianca’s belly and a second or 2 later the sound of heart beats thumping a thousand miles an hour came through the speaker on the handheld device. Mama also pulled out another set of headphones giving them to Nevaeh. “So you can listen to them alone..” and put them over her ears. Bianca took mama’s hand and placed it softly over her belly only for mama to pull back nervous as ever.
Mama slowly placed her hand back on Bianca’s belly leaned closer before talking out loud “Hello in there you two little babies have the best mommy in the world and a grandmamma who loves you too!” Mama sat back up and smiled “It’s good to talk to them more and more because some studies say it helps them develop faster. It also helps them to get to know the voices that will be a constant part of their lives.” Nevaeh stiffened and got up from her chair looking pissed for some reason, causing Bianca to look at Mama and mouth “What the….is that about?” Mama looked up into Bianca’s eyes “You know why honey the life you’re choosing to live and really don’t need to” she whispered. Bianca stiffened as well “I’m enjoying being a Madam I choose my own clients and for the most part it’s legal. I’ve made sure everything is safe and that there are no underage people…not including myself…” she whispered back.
Mama didn’t say another word, but Bianca knew what she was thinking “I’m not mom and I don’t even use drugs since I found out I was pregnant.” Mama just grew more upset and left the kitchen, Bianca knew they would never understand and half the time she didn’t but knew she had completely changed what the business had started off as. “I don’t have time for the two of you…I’m having dinner with Tyler and his family tomorrow and also having mom and Marco join us as well…it’s time I tell them, and I have to put these babies first” she yelled out as she had been left alone. Mama gasped and followed Bianca as she headed to the door “You’re, telling them tomorrow? Do you think that’s a good idea?” Bianca shook her head “They were bound to find out eventually and what would you like me to do? Tell them after the babies are born and I end up bringing them home?” she bitched. Bianca headed out of the house and straight to her truck, and sped down the driveway and headed home.
