Chapter 44: Lunch with Nevaeh & Back to School

Bianca got out of her truck and went looking for her. "Where the hell could she be?” Bianca, cursed under her breath. She sat next to the water and started skipping rocks across it. "Does she like fucking with my head" she yelled out. A few minutes later out of nowhere and without a single sound someone had sat behind her and covered her eyes with their hands. She about jumped right out of her skin with a flight and fright reaction with Nevaeh grabbing her before she could. She knew it had to be Nevaeh by the amazing smell that she had and the memories from the night before and that morning.
She calmed her breathing and slowly ran her hands over the hands that we're still covering her eyes. "Nevaeh, you scared the crap out of me" she whispered. "Shh angel you're safe in these arms of mine" Nevaeh whispered into her ear. Bianca blew out a final breath and relaxed into Nevaeh’s chest sliding her hands-down Nevaeh’s tight thighs. Bianca tilted her head and looked back at Nevaeh. "You're still wearing your mask" Bianca whispered as she kissed Nevaeh’s jaw. Nevaeh didn't answer and Bianca knew why with Nevaeh rubbing Bianca's arms. "So, tell me why you were at the clinic today?" she asked again in person this time. Bianca stiffened with a sigh "I just wanted to get a check up to make sure everything is okay" she wasn’t sure what else she could say. Bianca wanted to break up the tension between the two of them and she slowly turned around and crossed her legs. When she finally settled down her racing heart completely, she saw that there was a catering bag next to Nevaeh. She looked to the bag then back to Nevaeh and smiled.
She looked to her watch and then back at the food and back to Nevaeh one last time. "So, I think we should get to eating I only have an hour left" she said as she reached for the food. Nevaeh smiled then took the bag from Bianca and opened it slowly. She took out a couple of containers and smiled "We have a small, chopped salad, seafood soup, bread and a couple chicken breasts." Bianca smiled “Oh, yes please sounds great" and opened each container. They sat quietly and ate their lunch and when they were done, they sat and relaxed for a bit in one another's arms. They were still getting used to seeing one another in the day light. Nevaeh walked Bianca back to the truck and Bianca watched as Nevaeh went to her bike. Bianca didn't know what to say and neither one didn't promise to see one another later. Bianca knew she didn't want a relationship with anyone and felt that everyone else she was with did.
She drove off in the direction of school and was contemplating on just going home. She drove up into the parking lot and with still 25 minutes left until class was to start. She turned off the truck and before she knew it Joy, Amanda, and Stephanie were on the back of her new truck. Bianca beeped her horn and yelled out the window "Get off the back and hop in the truck." They all climbed in and couldn't stop screaming until Bianca turned to face them. "SHUT THE HELL UP" she yelled out at them. They all calmed down and waited for Bianca to say something else and not be so mean, but she wasn't really sure what to say at first. "How do you like my new truck I got an early birthday present?” she asked. She ran her hands down her legs and felt the sweat even more "Fuck I know this is not a birthday present but a bribe letting me know I can never leave" she muttered to herself.
Bianca didn't know what to do so she got out of the truck and the girls followed. She armed the truck and headed into school and straight to her locker. She hadn't seen Tyler yet and she was actually grateful for it. She knew he would ask how her appointment had gone with all the stupid details along with it. The girls went on to their classes and Bianca was happy that there was only one more class left before she could go home. she couldn't stay focused in her class and didn't really care since the school year was almost over. The bell rang and she went to her locker and put everything away and since it was Friday there was no homework to worry about. Bianca was almost out the door when Tyler yelled out "Wait up B…." and she stopped to wait. She didn't know what she was going to say just knew she didn't want to start a fight. "Hey B haven't seen you since you left for your appointment just wanted to see how it all went" Tyler said as they exited the building. "Ty it all went great and thank you for giving me the space that I needed" she said as she walked with Tyler to his truck.
Tyler took his sweet time opening his truck and waited until Bianca was about to turn and walk away. When he grabbed her and pulled her to his chest "B you have been so different in the last few days" he said as he shoved his hands through her hair. Bianca didn't know what to do so she pulled back and told him that she just needed the space. "Ty I just want to keep my head clear and have as many good days as much as possible. I just want to get through today and tomorrow without anything crazy happening" she said as she kissed his cheek and turned toward the Escalade. Tyler was so confused and didn't know what else he could say to prove to her that he was there whenever she needed someone. "I'll meet you at your dads, studio in about an hour or so” she yelled out. He just smiled and watched as she strutted toward the truck. "For fucks sake can I just have one day where my life is just a little normal?" She muttered to herself.
Bianca pulled open the driver’s door & noticed that her phones red light just kept blinking, that indicated that she had either a missed call, voicemail, or text message. She got into the driver seat and closed the door picking up the phone and unlocked the screen. To her surprise there were three text messages and a missed call from her mother. She listened to her mother's voicemail first, "Bianca it's your mother I just wanted to let you know that you're good to go to the mall Saturday before the party and I love you see you later." Bianca rolled her eyes and deleted the message "I just don't even understand why she tries so hard." She opened her text message window and saw that there were 3 messages one from Alex, one from blocked 01, and from blocked 02. Alex- "Bianca just wanted to make sure you were doing okay. Ty says you been needing some space, we are all concerned about you." "WTF ALL? Who the fuck else could he be talking about?" she thought as she hit the stirring wheel.
Bianca replied to Alex, "Alex yes I'm fine just have a lot going on and have a big day Saturday. I'm sure your family was invited over for my party already by Marco or Ana" Bianca opened the next message which was from blocked01 which let her know it was from Nevaeh. Blocked01-"Just wanted to say hi and let you know I was thinking about you. Not yet sure if I'll see you tonight or not." Bianca started to become more and more pissed off. She replied with "Look Nevaeh you know what don't bother I have a long night ahead of me and could really just use some alone time so don't bother." She didn't know if she even wanted to bother reading anymore. "There's only one more might as well" she said as she opened the next blocked message. Block02 "Bianca just wanted to say hi and let you know I set up an appointment to see you tonight can't wait." Bianca slowly sent out her last message trying to not be angry in doing so. The message was simple "Sounds great see you tonight Mrs. Bunny." She closed and locked up her phone, putting it in her cup holder and turned on the radio only to hear her phone's text message tone go off and turned the volume up to drowned out the message tone.
