Part 2: Bianca's Revenge: Chapter 15

Bianca took a deep breath and laid Victoria down on the bed alongside her mother and Dr. O’Brien followed suite laying Sydney down as well. However chose to lay her atop Ana’s chest then did the same with Victoria. “Ok now that, that is settled… I guess what I’m wanting to say… ummm ask is might be inappropriate and even make you feel, uncomfortable.. but ok here goes nothing….I wanted to know how old you were? If you had any children, and if you were married?” she finished in a rush and finally took in another deep breath. Dr. O’Brien just stood against the wall with her arms folded and smiling as Bianca waited. She waited for the answers she had asked and hoped she would get them.
Bianca was starting to panic a little and fidget around when Dr. O’Brien just stared at her and had no facial expressions. “OMG ok this is too funny, and I love watching you panic and fidget all at the same time” Dr. O’Brien laughed and then pulled up a chair next to Bianca who was still standing. Bianca stayed standing not wanting to show that she was any of those things even though she was. Dr. O’Brien started talking again “Well I’m 26 years old graduated high school at 14 and was accepted right into medical school after passing all the pre-testing with higher scores then anyone at my age had done before. I was married at 18 and divorced at 21 when my husband left me, and only because I had, had 5 miscarriages, 2 still births… and umm a son that only lived 15 days..”
Bianca stopped Dr. O’Brien and apologized for even asking questions not expecting her to unload her whole life story. Dr. O’Brien told her to stop apologizing since it was her decision to even say anything. “It was a long time ago and well now it’s all about work and umm…. well finding myself” she said as she grabbed Bianca’s hand lightly and could feel her palms sweating. Bianca pulled her hand back and wiped them on the towel next to her. “Sorry just got very real in here all of a sudden..” she whispered softly as she tried to keep her emotions in check. Dr. O’Brien was about to say something when the twins started screaming like crazy and as Bianca and Dr. O’Brien rushed to get them, they found her mother Ana’s eyes wide open and her arms rocking the twins softly.
Bianca yelled for her grandfather a second later “Pops get in here quick moms awake…” Bianca yelled out and two seconds later her grandfather Dr. Patrone was in the room checking Ana from head to toe. While Bianca and Dr. O’Brien took the twins and sat down in the corner with them in their arms. “They are sucking hard on their hands it’s about their feeding time” Bianca said to cut the tension in the room. Bianca grabbed the feeding pillow she had in the next room and propped Sydney up on it and spoke softly to him “You have to give mommy long enough to get herself ready..” Once Bianca cleaned herself up, she latched Sydney on which was never a problem and looked up to find Dr. O’Brien starring at her.

Dr. O’Brien apologized “I’m sorry this must ummm… I don’t know be weird for you now that I just kind of told you my whole life story in like a ½ hour or less. I can find you a new OB/Pediatrician if you’d like.?” she whispered. Bianca slowly reached up and put her finger to Dr. O’Brien’s mouth. “Shhhh relax and I’m the one who should be saying that to you since I’m the one who asked you. Sorry about the open breast feeding not covering up and just letting it all hang out, but if you’d like I have bottles ready to go if you’d like to feed Victoria who is much less demanding.” Dr. O’Brien took her up on the offer of feeding Victoria and grabbed the bottle from the nurse who had overheard that the twins needed to be fed. Once they were all settled Dr. O’Brien started talking more “I really am sorry, I have never got this involved with my patients and their family like this.” Bianca didn’t mind that the Dr was so involved and was even starting too really enjoy her company. She could see how Victoria took to her like a pro and had no issues with eating, and Dr. O’Brien seemed like she was a pro herself.
Dr. Sydney Wilson had finished up his exam and strolled through the doors to the next room where the two ladies had gone to feed the twins. “So, Ana is in and out of it right now, but there’s some stuff we really need to finish discussing soon” he said. While Dr. O’Brien tried to stay focused on feeding Victoria who had taken the bottle slow at first and then had demolished it with in what seemed like minutes. Bianca agreed with her grandfather and promised they’d do it later that night. “Now is mom okay overall, I mean the twins started screaming and she opened her eyes wide and held them and actually rocked them… will she remember that?” Bianca asked with a low tone trying not to cry in front of the Doc. Especially for a person who treated her like property instead of her child.
Before Bianca knew it, she had not only her grandfather, but Dr. O’Brien talking. “The brain is amazing part of the body and miracles happen every day.!” “She could have some memory loss and bouts of amnesia, we just have to wait and see.” Bianca shook her head in a way that she was understanding what they were saying and wished she had a different life for a brief moment. She had quickly snapped out of it when Sydney chomped down hard and shocked Bianca to the core. She quickly lifted Sydney from the pillow and then to her shoulder to burp him and then passed him to her grandfather. To take Victoria who had finished her bottle, but didn’t seem satisfied enough. “Ok Vic let me get you taken care of and give Dr. O’Brien a break. I’m sure she has a full schedule and doesn’t have time to hang out with the 3 of us all day. Ok Pops you want to finish up with Sydney, I’ll have the nurse grab another bottle. If you could also call down mama so she knows what’s going on with mother” she asked. Pops smiled and sat down next to Bianca’s chair and waited for Bianca to calm herself down as she started to breath harder and panic but knew to let her just talk.

10 minutes later momma was down with all of them, and Sydney and Victoria were still eating like they were starving. Bianca finished up passing Victoria back to Dr. O’Brien who had decided to stay even though Bianca told her she didn’t have to stay. “If you could burp her while I go and check in on my mother and mama to see how things are going in there?” she asked. Dr. O’Brien was more than happy to take over again and watched as Bianca left. Bianca stood watching her mother and mama as Anastasia lay there sleeping and mama holding her hand. “She, looks like herself a little more everyday” mama said as she heard the door open behind her.
Bianca just starred at her mother “this is the healthiest I’ve ever seen here in my almost 18 years of living” she whispered back and tried her best to keep her emotions in check. They stayed at Anastasia’s side for about an hour or more and then Bianca had to get the twins upstairs and bathed and ready for their outing with their father and grandparents. “Alright all I’m sure Dr. O’Brien needs to get back to her office. I definitely need to get the twins ready for their day with their father and grandparents” Bianca said. After she re-joined them all in the room next to Anastasia’s room and took the twins in her arms from the crib. Mama and pops told Bianca they’d stay with Anastasia and if she needed them or one of them to help her get the twins ready. Since Nevaeh was out of town for the next couple of weeks and she rarely gave them a bath alone.
Bianca assured them both she had it under control “No I’ve got it thank you both for more than you’ll ever know. Yes, pops I know we still have talking to do and we’ll do that later and we’ll get it taken care of later once the kids are with their dad. Plus, it’s not like I’ve never done it alone before….” She rolled her eyes. They all laughed and watched as the two women left with the twins. Dr. O’Brien was watching Bianca as close as she ever had before and wasn’t sure why. “I don’t mind giving you a hand getting them ready, unless you’re wanting me to leave. For some reason that you’d rather keep to yourself. Trust me I have nowhere else to be an actually today is the start of my 2-week vacation before heading off to a conference and would love to help….” she confessed.
They had been stopped at the elevator and Dr. O’Brien had Victoria in her arms again burping her as she had the hiccups. Bianca could tell that Dr. O’Brien’s body language had changed from comfortable to an almost shy state. Along with a shy smile that made Bianca find her even that more attractive. In that moment she had thoughts of forbidden fruit that was untouchable to her. Which made her start to sweat all over again being so close to her as they finally entered the elevator together. Once they reached the main floor of the house Bianca led the way to where they’d get the twins ready. Then showing Dr. O’Brien the rest of the house since she had yet to see it all.
For the next 15 minutes she showed her the rest of the ranch style house which you’d think was simple until you knew the history and stepped inside it. “So now you’ve seen just about everything and still trying to figure out if any of this is at all normal” Bianca said as she walked into her room which was also the nursery to get the twins ready. Dr. O’Brien undressed Victoria down to just her diaper and grabbed her little miss piggy towel while Bianca did the same with Sydney except grabbed the frog towel for him. “Ok Doc this way master bath is the easiest place to do all this” she said as she led them down the hall. “You can call me…um miss O’Brien or by my actual name if you’re ok with that….” she pleaded. Bianca laughed “Well Ms. O’Brien what would be your 1st name?” she asked. They both burst into laughter a second later.
