Chapter 41: Trying to return to a normal daily life: The Sculpture
Bianca took another deep breath before walking into the room. "Ty you really need to relax about the texts because I'm here, I'm fine so you can stop worrying" she said as she smoothed the worry lines from his forehead. "I know I asked you to take me to my appointment today after school, but I'm actually going to do it alone" she informed him. Bianca turned around and walked into class and went straight to check on her sculpture to finish it up with the final details. She just wanted to keep her thoughts clear and get the day over with as soon as possible. When she turned her sculpture around, she couldn't believe what she was seeing. "You've got to be kidding me a fucking crack on the face. The crack goes from the left forehead to the right ear this is crazy" she threw up her hands. “You know what it's actually kind of perfect because I'm in no way in any form perfect myself” she reminded herself. She examined the rest of the sculpture and it all seemed to be fine taking a new approach and appreciation to it all.
She ran her hands down it and felt so proud of it and the accomplishment she made with it. "That is such a beautiful piece Bianca I would love to put it on display at the Institute of Art and design” Mrs. shoezer the art teacher asked. Bianca just closed her eyes and shook her head "NO!" Mrs. Shoezer tapped the table with her fingers and Bianca wiped her tears from her eyes and turned around. She stood tall in front of the teacher and slowly opened her eyes finding Mrs. Shoezer looking up at her with concern etched on her face. "Bianca is everything okay you're crying?" "Um yes I'm fine I just have had little sleep, and this is all just too much for me" she shrugged not sure what else there was left to say. She tried to calm her racing thoughts and turned back around to the sculpture and ran her hands down across every last part.
Mrs. Shoezer had stayed close admiring the sculpture just as much. "The details are amazing and even though the woman is naked it's very classy the way you have her posed and cupping her breasts. Such detail to the rest of the body as she's got her legs crossed and she's crouched down a little" Mrs. Shoezer replied as she watched Bianca put the cloth back over the top. Mrs. Shoezer eyed her and didn't really understand why Bianca was hiding such an amazing piece of art she wanted to know why as she stood at the table with the sculpture and waiting for class to start. She didn't really know what to say when Tyler sat next to her and just stared. Mrs. Shoezer greeted the rest of the class and got the morning started and by the end of the class Bianca had decided on the whole thing about her sculpture being put on display at the Institute. She put the sculpting utensils down and smiled as she decided she would keep it natural and not putting any color or any else to it. She went to Mrs. Shoezers desk and waited for her to return from the hall.
Mrs. Shoezer had not kept her waiting long of course. "Bianca is there something you need?" she asked and gave a gentle smile. Bianca felt her skin start to dampen as she felt so nervous about what she was about to say. "Well, I have decided to let you put my sculpture on display, but I like to stay anonymous if that's alright" she said as she paced back-and-forth. Mrs. Shoezer stopped in front of her to stop her from pacing and replied, "That won't be a problem, but would you be willing to sell it if someone decided to buy it?" she asked. Bianca didn't really know what to think at first "You think it's that good that someone would want to actually buy it?" she was still not so sure about her own work, yet the teacher saw something she didn’t about her work. The teacher shook her head "Yes" and Bianca smiled. "Well, I guess if someone shows interest why not?" she shrugged agreeing to let it go if it should come to it and finished gathering her things. "You're the expert Mrs. Shoezer so as long as you get a fair price, and it is bought by someone who is going to love it as much as I do as I've put into it then I'm fine with selling it" she finally caved 100%. They both shook hands and Bianca went on her way to geometry class.
Tyler was waiting for her just outside geometry when the class was through. Bianca didn't speak a word as they both walked to their lockers and put their things away. They had 10 minutes between the next class. CSI for Bianca and lacrosse practice for Tyler so they just hung out for a bit. "B are you sure you don't want company at your appointment just in case?" Tyler asked as he put his arm around her shoulder. Bianca shook her head "Yes I'm sure and since I'm safe with every client I'm sure everything will be fine." Bianca's phone vibrated in her pocket, and she grabbed it hoping that it was Navaeh letting her know she would be spending the day with her. When she unlocked her phone and looked at it, it was not from Navaeh, but actually from another blocked number. The message read "This is Miss Bunny and I just wanted to see if you'd be okay with me coming back to see you tonight? I also wanted to make sure you were okay since you never responded to my text, messages I sent you last night."
