Chapter 21: More Self Protection Training
Tyler was happy to follow her anywhere she went as long as he got to be with her "So where are we going B?" he asked with a fist pump. "Well Joy and Amanda are coming so let's go see what they want” she suggested. The girls were at the place they had promised to be when lunch time came around. “So, girls have we decided where were going for lunch?" she asked. "No, you decide since it's your birthday coming up after all" Joy said with a wink. "Fine but it's a secret and you can't tell anyone" Bianca said. They all looked at Bianca like she was crazy but following along with whatever it might be. They all piled into Tyler's truck and headed out to Bianca's private place. "What the hell is this place it's in the middle of nowhere and looks like someone lives here" Amanda whispered. “It's mamas place she's a sweet old lady who has no family that live by" Bianca said as she knocked on the door.
A few minutes later a little lady slowly opened the door and smiled so sweetly "Well good afternoon BB, haven't seen you for a while how's everything going?" mama asked as she stepped aside to let them enter. "Well, we'd love to have some lunch please if you're up for visitors, mama?" Bianca asked. "Sure, come on in and get comfy for a bit" Mama said with a smile. They all stood in the little kitchen, and they all just eyed Bianca. "Mrs. Mama, take everyone into the living area and I'll prepare lunch" Bianca stated matter-of-factly. "Salad, burgers, chips and potato salad with sweet tea coming right up ladies….” she said softly. “Oh yes let's not forget the man in the house" Tyler said as they all followed miss mama into the living room. 20 minutes later they were all laughing and enjoying their lunch "Oh, wow Mrs. mama you're funny and smart" Tyler said as he wiped his mouth "Well thank you my boy" mama said.
Amanda and Joy both spoke at the same time, "BB how did you meet mama?" the girls said in unison. Bianca smiled "Well I was up at Lake Monroe when Mama was out for a stroll, and we just started talking and just hit it off. I learned that mama was a nurse and her husband a doctor" Bianca said proudly. "It was quite some time ago my dear" Mrs. mama said. "Miss mama is so easy to talk to and well since I don't really have any other family, she's as good as anyone else. And she doesn't have family that live around here either" Bianca reminded them as she grabbed mamas, hand. They all helped clean up the mess from lunch and thanked mama for her hospitality. "Well, mama I'll see you next week and I'll bring you some groceries on my way in" Bianca promised as she hugged her.
They were all on their way back to school by 12:20PM. "That was an awesome lunch" they all confessed to Bianca. "Yeah, we will have to go again sometime" Bianca said. As the day went on Bianca could hardly wait to get out and get to the studio for her training with Alex. Tyler was waiting at her locker and waited for her to put everything away. "I'm so ready to kick ass today Ty and so ready to put your dad to the test" Bianca said with a scary smile. "So, you think you got everything figured out after just one day?" Tyler asked as he grabbed her and threw her over his shoulders.
Once at the studio Bianca was feeling so excited, Tyler had her change into workout clothes instead of school clothes. "Ty now how am I going to hide all this" she pointed to all the marks she had on her body. Tyler put his finger to his mouth and looked her up and down "Just tell my dad you've been practicing" he said with a smile. Tyler left her at the locker room door to finish getting ready. "Fuck, fuck, this is never going to work" she bit out. 5 minutes later she emerged from the locker room and found Alex waiting for her. "Oh shit" she jumped as she found him standing around the corner waiting. "Sorry Bianca didn't mean to frighten you" he said as he embraced her in a hug. "Hi Alex, no it's fine just tired and trying to work on my surroundings" she lied but didn’t want to admit to him that she was terrified.
Alex looked at her up and down in the mirror turning his head from left to right. Never saying a word, he let her go quickly as if he burned himself. "Hhmm wonder what that's about" she thought to herself as they headed for the mats. "Ty says you've been working on some moves" Alex said in a low voice. "Ummm I'm yeah little bit not that much though as you can tell from all the marks" Bianca said as she looked to the mats. "I rather practice now and get to learn some new moves" she said as she took her stance on the mats. Alex smiled and put his arm out toward the mats, not a second later Bianca was on her back. "OUCH….OOF" she said as she was helped to her feet. "FOCUS...okay Bianca close your eyes and visualize your attacker because your attacker is not going to wait for you to be ready” again he put his arms around her chest, and she brought her arms between his to push them away and tried to lodge her right arm between his and hit him in the side with her elbow.
