Epilogue

"Aurelia, baby! We're here!" I announced as soon as Frederick helped me to get down from the carriage. "Thank you, darling," I said and smiled.

"Anytime, my goddess," Frederick said. He turned his head when he heard a giggle. "Aurelia! Munchkin, your mother and I are here!"

Frederick and I waited as we both heard each other calling us. "Papa! Mama!"

Then we knelt on the ground. Together, we opened our arms. "Come, Aurelia," we said in unison as our firstborn two-year-old daughter, Aurelia Nicole de Carteret, Princess of Vitalis, ran in our direction.

"You two are here now!" she said excitedly, not minding her dress was getting dirty.

Frederick and I rained her with kisses as soon as she was in our arms. He lifted our daughter up as she giggled. Smiling, I turned at my brothers-in-law who were here to babysit their niece.

"Thank you for babysitting our little Aurelia for a week, Brother Azarius, Brother Alucard, Brother Alistair, and Brother Alejandro," I said as I curtsied before them.

Azarius smiled. "She cried for a few days but Aurelia must have realized that she has cool uncles," he said, forming a grin.

"Mama!" I turned my head to see that Aurelia was reaching out to me.

I immediately gathered her in my arms and kissed her forehead. "My baby smells so good." She giggled when I tickled. She struggled against my hold and ran inside the castle. Her nannies followed her to catch up with her.

"Novalie." I looked up at Frederick. My face had gone color when I saw that he was holding a riding crop.

"W-Wait..." I turned my head at my brothers-in-law, and suddenly felt nervous. "Don't tell me..."

Alucard was the one who answered. "Well, looks like you did not hide one of your play toys, sister-in-law," he teased as he snatched the crop away from Frederick.

"Hey!" Frederick frowned. "That's Novalie's."

Alistair tapped Frederick's shoulder. "Hide your play toys before our niece discovers more, Atticus, Novalie." He wiggled his eyebrows. "For example, the secret room?"

I cleared my throat. "How did you even know about that? It is supposed to be a secret..." I squinted my eyes at Alistair.

Alejandro stepped forward as he gestured his hand to Frederick whose face had gone color right now. "This man right here asked for our help before for the renovation of the Euthoria Citadel, sister-in-law. He said that you wanted a secret room that was soundproof. Well... enough for an intimate moment perhaps?"

"It's a punishment room meant for Frederick since he should know who he should obey." I arched my eyebrow seeing Frederick that he gulped because he knew that I was not happy that our daughter saw the crop I asked him to keep before we would go on an expedition.

Alistair nudged Frederick. "I envy you, Ace. Hey, Ale. Let's make a soundproof secret room for our mate as well." He smirked.

Alejandro rolled his eyes. "We haven't met our mate yet."

"Speaking of mates. I asked my fifth sister, Grizel, about when the four of you will meet your mates."

"Grizel is the Goddess of Fate, yeah?" Alucard asked, suddenly curious.

I nodded. "Indeed. Grizel said that you shall meet your mate soon if you participate more in being a delegate of the Sowinski Kingdom."

Grizel's ability as the Goddess of Fate was being able to create and lacerate a thread of fate of someone. She could make someone not be able to meet a certain person or fate depends if the situation calls for it.

"Oh! How about us, Novalie?" Alistair and Alejandro asked in unison.

"Did you also ask about us?" Alejandro was the one who asked.

"Soon..." I answered shortly as I winked at them. "Ragriel and Grizel said that you two are really bound to have one mate. She is coming soon."

They both nodded. "As expected then," they said.

"That is what Father's hunch is as well." Alistair stroked his chin.

Alejandro agreed. "Also, Ali and I already said that if this shall be the case, then we already know how we will love and cherish our mate. It would not be a problem since Ali and I are living in the same castle so if ever we get married, we can still live under the same roof."

"And the same chamber," Alistair said with a grin. "Imagine those intimate moments—"

"Oh, hell no! Not here! My daughter might hear you two," Frederick said, panicking. "Do not speak about how you shall sleep with your mate so casually here. Mind your words, Brother Alistair, Brother Alejandro."

I almost chuckled. Frederick really didn't want that since Aurelia was too young to learn something about sex and foreplay. I could even teach my daughter how a man pleases her at the right time and how to seduce her as well.

When I told him that to Frederick, he wasn't happy about it since he wanted to keep Aurelia a virgin until her centenarian years.

We all laughed at Frederick who was frowning right now. I turned at Azarius who was waiting for me to say things about him.

"As for you, Azarius..." I paused.

He raised his hands. "I know. I am not meant to have a mate. But I am already alright because Macedonia and I are married already."

Ah, yes. Macedonia reached 35 years of age last year and hadn't found her mate yet so the proposal happened. She was also crowned as our Luna Queen of the Sowinski Kingdom last year as well.

I creased my forehead. "There is something you need to know about her..."

"What are you saying?" Azarius asked.

"Novalie..." Frederick looked concerned. "Are you really going to tell me right now?" I nodded my head. He already knew what I was going to tell his first brother.

Azarius exchanged his glance between us. "What are you not telling me right now?"

"It is something that Rachelle revealed to be the last time I visited the celestial realm last week. She said that this is also the right moment that I should tell you as well." I gulped, feeling nervous. I didn't know how he would react to this but I must tell him the truth.

He smiled wryly. "What are you saying, Novalie?"

I inhaled and exhaled before I opened my mouth and revealed to him what Rachelle told me that time. "Rachelle said that Macedonia is your mate," I revealed.

At that moment, Frederick's four brothers said, "WHAT?"

I nodded my head. "She is your mate, Azarius. She is your fated mate," I added.

"H-How did that happen?" Azarius asked, perplexed. "The divine priest told me that I am not bound to have a mate, Novalie." I could hear the loud pounding in his chest. I could sense that he felt betrayed as well.

I told what Rachelle told me that time. It was time for Azarius to know the truth since she already warned Macedonia back then that she must not deceive Azarius before she married him and crowned as the Luna Queen. But she didn't pay heed to Rachelle's last warning.

It was Azarius's right to know as well. The truth... All this time he thought that he had no mate. But the truth was he already had a mate for a very long time.

And Macedonia kept the truth.

"I cannot accept this!" Azarius said as he transformed to his wolf form and ran towards the other direction, not going to the palace.

"Damn... Macedonia is insane to do that," Alucard said, shaking his head. "Tsk. I have a feeling the palace will be chaotic soon."

"Things might not end well. Shit... Brother Azarius is frightening when he is angry. He knows he has been fooled this whole time." Alejandro sighed.

"I would feel angry, too." Alistair agreed. "But I hope he would not dare to hurt her physically."

"We are not taught to hurt a woman," Frederick said as he draped his arm on my shoulders. "Mother taught us well so Brother Azarius wouldn't do that."

Alucard shook his head. "No. This involves deceiving. He will not take this lightly. You know how desperate our first brother is to meet his mate. But our sister-in-law, Macedonia, kept it for a reason." He faced me. "Why not tell it before? I mean, Luna Queen Rachelle."

"Because it is not the right time, Alucard. Mother settles things at the right time so what we can do is to be patient." I suddenly felt bad all of a sudden but I only did what my sister said.

Alucard nodded. "Of course... Who are we to defy the laws of nature She created?"

After that, they already left. Frederick and I went inside the castle where Aurelia was already taking her early sleep. We both kissed her forehead before we returned to our chamber.

"If only Rachelle should have told me sooner, no?" I asked as we were done making love in the bathroom and now, we were in the tub.

Frederick planted a sensual kiss on my shoulder. "It's Mother's will, sweetheart. Like what Brother Alucard said... who are we to defy the laws of natures She created?" I felt him kissing my head.

I nodded my head. "You're right..."

"Let's finish taking a bath, my goddess. Our daughter might wake up any moment. You know that she wants to sleep beside us in the middle of the night."

I chuckled as he sounded sulking. I straddled him. "We did so much back in the expedition, darling. You sound like we cannot even do much here," I teased.

As our daughter, Aurelia grew up, the places and the timing where we could make love had become limited. We even had to make sure that our daughter didn't see us doing such very sensual and intimate moments since she was still young.

"Let's talk to your father, Novalie. He wants to spend time with Aurelia, right? How about for a month in the Wall Burgundy pack?" He wiggled his eyebrows. "Well, we can have more time to make another one."

And voila! I was pregnant with Aurelia after a month.

But we had been careful now and I was already taking fertility control since we both wanted to focus on Aurelia before conceiving another pup again.

"Not yet. On her coming-of-age." I wiggled my eyebrows, teasing. "Who knows... I can already imagine how our daughter will react." I moaned after that when Frederick held my waist to move his waist up and down to fuck my cunt. "Frederick..." I panted.

"And I have a guess that you are going to teach her the things that you did back then." I sensed him frowning.

Grinning, I moaned. "Of course... She has to learn to experience great sex, darling."

I rolled my eyes at his words again. He was being overprotective of our daughter ever since she was born.

He frowned more, growling immaculately. "They must have a death wish if they ever dare to touch my daughter."

Poor my baby Aurelia. Her father wouldn't let her go so easily.

"We should have more daughters so you can guard them," I teased. "But you also have to deal with their mood swings and their monthly period just as you deal with them with me."

I watched how he grew a frightening expression. He knew my attitude during those times, especially when I got pregnant. I really had intense crazy cravings and mood swings. Since I didn't experience irregular periods, Frederick had to deal with it every month.

But instead that Frederick would get mad at me, he was being patient and understanding. He knew that it was hard to conceive a pup for three months but he told me that it was the hardest moment of his life since he had never felt so worked out.

I had to wake him up in the middle of the night whenever I was craving something which he would do everything he could to provide for them. Or else, he would have to sleep outside our chamber.

Frederick scoffed. "If I am able to handle your mood swings before, during, and after your monthly period, then I must be proud that I survived them. Well, barely." We both chuckled.

"Then, daughters, it is." I started moving on top of him which earned him a pleasurable groan.

"Daughters and sons, Novalie," he said in a difficult tone as he held my waist and met my eyes. "Then, they will have your eyes, my goddess."

"And yours, too, darling." I moaned so loud when he started moving inside faster than before.

After we finished taking a bath and changed into our sleeping clothes, Aurelia knocked on the door. Frederick opened the door and lifted her up. "How's my munchkin? Can't sleep?" he asked softly as he placed Aurelia in between us.

"Mama..." Aurelia clung to her little arms to my neck, yawning.

I smiled and kissed her forehead. "You cling like we haven't seen each other, my love."

"One week..." She frowned. "...is that long."

Frederick caressed her hair. "And we are back, munchkin. Just as we promised." Aurelia giggled when her father rained her with kisses. "So, munchkin, your mother and I are trying to make you a sibling so you can be an older sister now. What do you want? Sister or brother?"

"Frederick..." I rolled my eyes.

Aurelia's hazel eyes, inherited from mine, widened. "I want a sister!" she exclaimed.

I pursed my lips into a thin line when Frederick smiled wryly. "How about brother?"

"I want it, too!"

"Then, twins, it is. Well, Novalie..." He playfully wiggled his eyebrows.

I sighed, rolling my eyes again. "We will make you a sister, love."

"Or twins," Frederick chimed in. "Or perhaps, triplets?"

I smiled sweetly at him. "Be careful what you wish for. Mother-in-law said that she had an intense craving when she conceived Alistair and Alejandro, darling. I hope you are prepared for what you are saying." I arched my eyebrow. "You are the one who shall take care of them every night," I said, challenging him to discourage the idea of having twins.

"I am ready for that," he said arrogantly.

I scoffed. "Let's see then..." I grinned. I couldn't wait to see him complaining when one of them was not sleeping. Frederick squinted his eyes at me because I knew that I was not going to believe him. I ignored him and kissed my little angel who had already fallen asleep.

"Sleep well, munchkin," Frederick whispered.

We drew closer so Aurelia could feel our warmth. We knew that she missed us so much. I missed her, too, which was why I kept nagging Frederick that I wanted to see our daughter soon.

It was hard to be far away from her. I really missed her so much. Of course, Frederick missed her baby munchkin as well.

'Darling.' I mind linked and glanced at Frederick when he was looking at Aurelia with a softened expression. It was better to use this kind of communication since our daughter was already sleeping.

'Hmm?' He mind linked back.

I carefully lay in the bed as I started combing his hair. Frederick slowly closed his eyes and leaned to my touch. I softly heard his purr which made my wolf squirm. 'You and Aurelia's birthday are coming. If it is alright with you, can I be the host of the party from now on?' I asked.

He slightly creased his forehead. 'Why? Don't you want Caspian to manage it?' He took my hand and intertwined it with his.

'I gave birth to Aurelia on your birthday three years ago. That was why it was so special to me that the two people I love would get to have a double celebration on the same day,' I said, looking at him with pleading eyes. 'I want to host it this time and in the next few years.'

Frederick smiled and nodded. 'Of course, my goddess. You may do that. I am looking forward to how you shall host our birthday party then.'

'Thank you, darling.' I drew closer to him so I could kiss him on his lips. 'I love you so much, Atticus Frederick de Carteret.'

He kissed me back and sighed softly. 'I love you more, Novalie Argerich-de Carteret, my goddess. Thank you for granting us a pup.'

After we kissed, we purred and rubbed each other's noses together. Then we both smiled as our hearts were in sync more than ever.

Mother... Thank you so much for letting me have Frederick and Aurelia. Thank you for giving me birth here in this mundane realm. I promise that I shall fulfill my duty as the Goddess of Marriage. I couldn't ask for more but please bless us.

I would cherish my moments being with Frederick and along with our daughter. Or if we were lucky, more pups would come. I was happy that I married my mate and was with him more as he cherished me every single day.
