Chapter 31
Howard's career is put to the test as rumors about his supposed plagiarism begin to spread. But if there's one thing that's steady in his life it's Tiffany's support and that definitely doesn't change just because of his failed confession. If anything, it might just show him that she does in fact care, despite what she may have said before.
After hearing the news about Howard, Tiffany immediately hops online and sees the responses. People have reached out to her, The one who draws pictures of him. The reactions on the internet seem to be a mix and Tiffany watches the video for herself noticing the time the video was uploaded and remembers that Howard sang the song to her before the video was even uploaded. She tries to assure the fans who message her and tell them that something fishy is going on and discovers that the one who uploaded the video is an ex-trainee at Howard's company. When asked if they should investigate the matter, Tiffany agrees.
Howard, Anna, and Daniel also watch the video and Daniel demands to see if Glen, the trainee stole the demo. Howard assures Daniel that he's not worried about the comments online but is more worried about his album's release. Of course it does but Daniel reminds him that he has a commercial event later that afternoon to attend.
The fans start coming in and Tiffany arrives, too wanting to know if there are any signs to support Howard. He doesn't have any, and he's the only stall selling them, but she decides to take two of the light up sticks that make up the characters for Howard's name.
Howardstands on stage to a disgruntled crowd while Tiffany puts on a mask below. Howard doesn't seem too confident standing on stage as the song starts but still manages to start to sing as the crowd watches. Tiffany makes her way to the top balcony, so she can be visible in front of Howard and calls out to him. He sees her with a nod and continues his performance while looking at her the entire time.
Later that night Howard returns home and he and his father have a brief conversation. His words are harsh but he's clearly worried about the plagiarism matter asking if the company has hired him a lawyer or investigator. Howard tries to placate his father by saying that he got it and decides to head to his room.
He debates calling Tiffany but Jeff enters the room and when he says he brought someone, Howard's eyes light up thinking it's Tiffany but it's only Bernice. They begin to ask him questions about the matter but there haven't been any developments on the end of his agency. Nanxi is confident things will work out but Howard is nervous since this issue also halts the production of his album.
Tiffany heads back to the dorm and begins to get information from her followers. They tell her that there's a suspicious person whose IP address just so happens to be at an internet café near Bournemouth university She informs them that she'll take a look at it since that's right near her.
Daniel is meeting the press outside of the agency and announces that the company is still investigating the matter but it's clearly a set up. He also promises that Howard will have a new song and release it in three days. However, Howard doesn't have a brand-new song to release in three days.
Tiffany informs Jeff about some of the clues that she's acquired and asks him to accompany her to the internet café. Howard, now with Daniel's promise publicly made, attempts to write a song in his room but is having some trouble coming up with ideas. His phone rings with Daniel asking him about the progress of his new song. There's been done due to Howard's lack of inspiration and even though they try to look on the bright side they know that time is running out.
Tiffany and Jeff enter the internet café pretending to be police looking for a bank robber. They ask the manager of the internet café for a log to see who was at the café at a specific time and he hands over the list. They see that it was Drake.
Next, the two go to the boxing ring and kengsington's hideout with his buddies. Drake is talking about how done Howard is when the two enter the scene. Tiffany yells at them while Jeff tries to be rational. They say that they know Drake wrote all of the comments and figure that they were probably the ones who helped Glen steal the music.
Howard wasn't happy about what Glen did. What made him do what he did, he sees Glen as a kind person he taught he's a good person he doesn't know that Glen is so selfish.
Howard went to the studio to take some of his CD, and saw Glen. Glen work past trough him. He ask Glen why he's avoiding him and why he did what he did. Glen told him that he's angry at Howard he wish he will be at the top, and Howard has a lot of fan. People like him alot but he's only an ex-trainee that no body cares about...... Howard cut him off telling him that he shouldn't be selfish because selfishness brings nothing good except regret and you will be left out and that's what happened to Glen. Right at that moment Jeff came and heard their conversation. He came face to face with Glen and talk some sense into him. Glen couldn't utter a word and left in anger.
Jeff told Howard not to worry they will see what they can do about the internet so that people Will stop talking about it. Howard thanked Jeff for his help. Jeff said he doesn't need to.
Tiffany was looking for Howard but can't find him, she saw Jeff and ask him, so Jeff told her he just left not long ago.
