Chapter 46

Howard and Tiffany meet on top of the roof to discuss the current situation at hand. It seems like they're holding a very important meeting but it's only about Howard wishing that she go back to her normal looking self. He tells her she was already beautiful but Tiffany argues that that's how she really looks and figures out Howard's jealous. He adamantly denies it but Tiffany can see right through him. In the end she decides to go back to the way she was, which pleases Howard  and found her now transformed self more comfortable.
Andrew goes and greets Bernice, bringing suitcases along with him. She just stares at him as she allows him to enter the house and really doesn't pay attention to him but she does ask if he's leaving for good after noticing the suitcases. He says that he has to bring everything to their long-awaited trip and that he made sure to block everyone so no one knows about it. They two begin to bicker a little bit back in forth, in a playful manner, until Andrew mistakenly mentions Howard.
But Bernice is in a better place and realizes that she's forgotten what matters. She begins to talk about someone always being by her side but her forgetting about his existence and Andrew thinks she's talking about him. She's talking about her dog, Teddy.
Howard and Tiffany are walking throughout campus as everyone looks at them. While they are holding hands, that's not the reason why people are looking at her, it's because people are very impressed thinking she must be very talented in order to date someone like Howard. Tiffany hates it, though, since she's back to square one with people judging her. Howard asks Tiffany what she wants to do. then  Tiffany only smile while looking at his face.
And that's how the two enter the outlets, with Howard dressed with freckles and glasses like Tiffany. Howard is worried that people will notice him but Tiffany points out that no one cares because he's in disguise therefore he looks like any other ordinary person. Howard begins to test it out and is happy to realize that that's true. Then they begin to do an adorable dance.
They end up going to see a horror movie but as soon as it starts, all of the couples around them start making out. Howard begins to get an idea from his surroundings and gets excited when Tiffany calls him close but it's not for what he thinks it is, it's to just tell him that the people around him must be crazy since that is definitely not the movie to be making out to. He plays it cool and agrees. Tiffany tells him that if any of the horror movie scare him, she'll protect him but later in the movie, Tiffany is the one who freaks out the entire time scaring everyone around her. As the movie goes on, Howard seems more and more haggard.
The movie is finally over and Howard reveals that Tiffany was the scarier one when compared to the movie. She apologizes and helps him fix his clothes that she messed up as a result of her grabbing him.
They try to figure out what they should do next when they notice a crane machine. Tiffany wants to try to get Spongebob but is unable to. Howard then begins to shake the machine in order to get one of the characters out of it and the thing that falls is a duck. It's not necessarily what Tiffany wanted but Howard  compares it to looking like her. Tiffany points out that he now looks like her, too.
They continue their shopping, stopping at some of the stands and really just hanging out and enjoying spending the time with each other. It's actually quite a nice environment  to see and in the end, they go to get their portrait sketched.
That night chris learns that his secretary has done what he wanted and gets angry when he calls them a couple, or really just gets mad at whatever he says that regards Tiffany. He reveals to his secretary that he's trying to drive a wedge in between them.
Howard and Tiffany are at his and Jeff's hideaway, lying with one another and looking up at the stars. Tiffany feeds Howard to fatten him up, saying he has to round out his bony edges so it becomes more comfortable to cuddle with him. Tiffany jokingly wonders if he and Jeff hugged and watch the stars with one another and Howard calls that ridiculous. She doesn't know but they end up looking at the stars together a couple of times.
Tiffany wonders where Jeff has gone and Howard says he went to go do some errands. But Jeff is actually just outside where he wonders that Howard owes him a girlfriend and pities himself thinking he'll never be able to meet a girl who looks like her. she came out of a music video ever again. He tiredly leans on a pillar, knowing that he can't go up.
Tiffany points out that it'll be awkward if he comes up to see them hugging like that but Howard is sure that he won't be coming back for the entire night.
Howard's phone rings and Daniel advises against him being open about his relationship since Tiffany's haters are growing. The two see the disapproval of Tiffany on the internet where they criticize her using her beauty to Howard. He points out that this is an idol's life but she's the one they're talking about. When she posts a comment complimenting herself, there are fans who are asking for proof of her claims of her being pretty and talented, not needing to rely on Howard.
She's determined to show them the proof they want and begins to work through numerous things. One is teaching sports but it's to little kids who clearly don't listen to her. She goes and greets Howard, who's in the corner, and tells him she is never going to have a child with him and Howard points out, once she leaves, that he never said he wanted a child.
